But he never asked me whether my door handle still pulls down on the inside to open the door (it doesn't). After watching him struggle to try and pull the handle using a metal contraption that slid under the door, it became obvious that he made an assumption that needed feedback. I also texted the building maintenance person to explain what Mike was trying to do. He offered feedback that finally got him on the right track. Yay! He used balloon devices near the latch to pop the door open... right into the wall, which left a dent (ouch... I guess holding the handle wasn't possible. Fine). Mike walks out to get his receipt book. He attempts to charge me over $200 without ever mentioning pricing along the way as a heads up. When I mention the scratch marks I now have to clean and the wall I have to patch up from the door popping into it, the price lowers to just over $150. I paid it, but I wasn't happy that I called at 11:30, he got here by 11:45, and didn't finish until 12:30 after spending so much time trying to pull down a handle that's not meant to budge when locked.

BAD KEY - and rude! I brought a key here to have a duplicate made. When I got home, the key got stuck in the door. It took me hours to get it out with pliers. When I returned to the store the next day, John barely looked at me. He re-did the key and threw it on the counter without even speaking. This time I scrutinized it. It was still too big and I gave it back. Once again, John re-did the key and once again, came back and threw it on the counter and walked away without saying a word. But the key was now shaved too small. At this point, I complained that he needed to review the work with me. He opened the cash register and took out cash, which I had to mind-read that it meant he was giving me my money back. He gave the impression that this was too small a job to be worth his time. Not only was this bad work and poor customer service, but he was extremely disrespectful. Its possible this was a dismissive attitude towards women, because I don't think he would have acted this way towards a man. I would never go here again - and do not recommend it. read more

This is seriously one of the best business on the planet. Somehow the metal part of the key separated from the fob. I was quoted crazy prices all over town. Leonard's did it for $60. Even added a new Lexus fob logo. I didn't have my car with me and he said it was 50/50 it work since he was making a duplicate of a duplicate. Today being July 4th and a holiday I was freaked. I asked him what happens if it doesn't work. He said call and he will figure it out even if it means having to make a new key. It worked!!! The place is awesome. I called Leonard's yesterday and a guy answered the phone and said he'd call me back in an hour. Based upon Yelp reviews, I thought I'd give them a chance and called back a few hours later since I needed next day service. I scheduled an appointment for the next day. They didn't call and they didn't show up. Ha! This time was a complete disaster, especially one of the two he replaced and he charged me a very high price. He was totally out of prIce range for a lock set that he probably got from Home Depot or Lowes, and that was not Truly A Professional Quality Lockset. I paid him, he left and when I attempted to lock my door the lock didn't work correctly. I called him, he didn't answer, he has not returned any of my calls and I'm out over $200+ dollars. I CAN ONLY SAY, "Do Not Use Him".

I called Luchiano and he was super responsive and understanding, and he came within 15 minutes. I had called a couple other locksmiths and they were pretty rude, but Luchiano was patient and got me back into my apartment safely without causing major damage to the locks. His price was fair for the service and he is a good honest dude. i highly recommend his services if you're in a pinch!

Very dishonest and seems like they are in a business to scam you. I originally called them to help…read moremy elderly neighbors who lock themselves out. First, after initial phone call, I call them back right away saying I no longer needed their service and yet they still sent someone out. Second, Upon arriving, a man had me believe he was from another locksmith company that I actually hired. Before I was able to figure this out, this man quoted $500 to unlock one door! ONE DOOR. I questioned his price and talked to his "boss". Once the actual locksmith I hired arrived, the boss got extremely verbally aggressive and caused a big commotion. At the end of this ordeal, this company had me believe he was with the locksmith company that I actually hired, his boss got extremely rude and hostile after I said I no longer needed the service. And tried to charged an outrageous price for unlocking a door.

Dishonest. Adam came today to install a $30 lock we had bought on Amazon. He also installed his…read moreown provided deadbolt. Upfront he said the deadbolt was $275 (which is crazy high but OK) and the labor "about $250". We said ok. He then finished in 45 minutes, and gave us a bill for $1250!!! Not only that, but he walked away without installing the wall plate -- just left a hole in the wall. He said it wasn't necessary and missing in the Amazon box, but we checked and it was right on top in the box. He pressured and we paid but now we feel scammed. Avoid them at all costs. I suspect the positive reviews here are fake.
