We first ordered drinks, a Peroni and unsweetened iced tea. Then we ordered an 18" pepperoni, meatball and extra cheese pizza. It took a bit longer than we thought it should for the pizza to arrive, but when it did, it was hot and flavorful. We love the tomato forward sauce and the amount was just right. The cheese, meatballs and pepperoni were spot on. The crust is crispy outside, but soft inside, a great combination. Very easy to eat. The restaurant was doing a good bit of take out business and I can see why. We will be back.

We ordered a 14" Chicago Deep dish pizza (the main reason we came) with meatballs and extra cheese. It was very flavorful, the crust was soft and firm with a buttery taste. We could have used more meatballs, but I won't deduct a star for that. The pizza was topped with fresh-tasting crushed tomatoes. We also ordered a 16" thin crust pizza with Pepperoni, extra cheese and 1/2 green olives. It also was quite good. The crust was crispy, but not tough and the toppings tasted great. Baked has some good deals to know about. 50% off beer, wine and most appetizers 4-6 daily. Kids 11 and under eat free Sunday's from 11:30-6 (one adult for two children, so four free with two adults). If you want to score big, order the daily pizza special, drinks and bring your kids on a Sunday between 4-6! This is a new place for us to try, even though Pizza 2000 probably pre-dates us in Fort Myers. We never think to go in because the parking situation can be a bit rough - it's the start of the Costco plaza on Cypress Lakes Drive. Therefore, it is tricky to get to the light and get out when you're done eating. The service was quick, as the server had just started her shift. She was nice and was able to attend to our questions before a small rush came in. She seemed to know one table of regulars (a pair of patrons) while a six top had arrived and seemed to order a third of the menu. There was also one chef in back, unless someone else was there behind a wall. We would definitely like to go back and try something else.
