They had such a big offering of seafood I wasn't expecting including jumbo shrimp the size of my hand. The jumbo shrimp were good too, not mushy and not overcooked. Staff at the check-in counter were pleasant and kept everyone moving through quickly. Not sure why but I was really impressed that our takeout meals came with a packaged utensil set (wooden fork, individually wrapped toothpick and a folded napkin) and it came with a can of Pepsi. That's definitely new but a nice surprise. Parking can be tricky because it's a smaller parking lot but GMB is always a staple Chinese buffet.

I have witness more than once when I go there etiquette are not being enforced on people that eat there. During dinner time I went I saw a young boy around the age of 12+ constantly picking food with his hands. At his age he should know better but I feel like the worker working by the food should have said something. He picked a crawfish, crab claw, cookies, and sushi with his bare hands. This same boy also grabbed a bowl, walked around rubbing, fisting the inside of the bowl and proceeded to put back that same bowl back with the clean bowls. Again the worker just watched him and did nothing. A previous time I went I saw a older lady complaining to the old men that works there about how cold the string beans was. When she got done talking to the old men she picked up a wonton with her hand that had gloves on in front of the old men that works there. He said nothing to her. Tongs are there for a reason to pick up food. Another incident a lady dropped a wonton on the ground. Instead of her just leaving it on the ground she thought she was doing good by picking it up and placing on the counter. Little did she know that 5 seconds later a worker picks up that dirty wonton on the counter and puts it back with all of the other wontons. I get the place does not want to be wasteful. However when food is out of the tray and on the counter it should not get placed back with the clean food. They use a all purpose rags to clean the counter. Nasty stuff gets spread from those rags. Now people are eating contaminated food. All of my experiences in this buffet has to be some kind of health violation. It is just beyond nasty. I will not likely go back to this buffet.

From the hostess who graciously held the doors open for us in the 95° heat to our incredible server, David, everything was outstanding. We started with cocktails. I had what may have been the best bourbon Old Fashioned I've ever tasted, and my wife enjoyed a wonderfully refreshing cocktail (whose name I, unfortunately, can't remember). We began our meal with the roasted Brussels sprouts. Normally, I'm not much of a Brussels sprouts fan, but I happily cleaned the plate. My wife and I shared the 12-ounce filet mignon, cooked medium rare, and it was absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. David recommended a bottle of wine to pair with our steak. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. But wait... there's more. As incredible as that wine was with the filet, it somehow paired even better (yes, I know that sounds impossible) with the slice of heaven they call chocolate cake. I'm sure it has a much fancier name on the menu, but "slice of heaven" seems more accurate. If you've read my other reviews, you know I have a tendency toward hyperbole. If there were ever a time to lean into it, this is it. THIS MEAL WAS FANTASTIC. THE AMBIANCE WAS PERFECT. THE FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. AND THE COMPANY WAS DIVINE. We will absolutely be back--and when we do, we'll be asking for a table in David's section. (He works Tuesday through Friday.)

I started with the tequila and mezcal Old Fashioned, and it was fantastic. It was well-balanced, beautifully presented, and garnished perfectly. The food was equally impressive. The wings were delicious--crispy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. My only small note would be that the celery was a little limp. The Caesar salad has officially been added to my regular rotation. The jammy egg was cooked perfectly with a rich, yolky center that was still easy to slice. The Parmesan crisps were thoughtfully sized, adding great texture without being so large they scraped the roof of your mouth. The salad was evenly dressed, making every bite flavorful. Overall, excellent food, outstanding cocktails, and warm, attentive service. I'll definitely be back.

We just happened to go during restaurant week which I didn't even know, so that was a plus. We basically got to try the full menu minus premium items I think like lamb and ribeye; it also came with a dessert sample. This place is so yummy! The service is great, staff are very friendly. We were asked if we wanted anything specifically to come around a couple times which was nice. My friend is from Salvado, Bahia, Brazil and enjoyed the food so much. She was one of the many people who raved to me about this place. Many staff speak Portuguese and/or Spanish so she was having a blast with that as well. The atmosphere is very upscale but chill. I was so stuffed after just a couple plates but it was still worth the money. All food was fresh and beautifully prepared. I also think this may be more authentic than some of the other Brazilian bbq places in the metro area because they don't serve chimichurri, which I think is technically Argentinian maybe. I did miss that like that have at fogo de chão, but they have vinagrete (super authentic to Brazil) and an amazing spicy Hmong sauce which I was surprised to see. They also offer Hmong sausage which I'm assuming is the closest thing to the toscana sausage you would typically find in Brazil. The chocolate and três leches cakes at the end were amazing! So sweet and delicious. I would just come and pick up slices of cake. We got them to-go but they were devoured before we left the restaurant. I highly recommend checking out Bullvinos Churrascaria.

For $200 with dinner/drinks/tax/tip we won't be back. Charged for the top shelf cuts but ribeye was only brought by once. Our server was asking other tables if there was anything specific they wanted but never us. Unsure if it was because we were two women but hard not to think that when that was the only difference between us and other tables getting lots of attention from not just our server but all servers/staff. Definitely wanted to love it because we want to support local vs chains but not sure we will be back. Overall, it was very frustrating to spend $200 which might not be a lot for others. but we work in the nonprofit and public education sectors so this is something we are able to do only 1-2 times a year and have a less than stellar experience and wonder if it was because we are gay or not. Something we thought we wouldn't have to worry about moving to Minnesota from Texas just two months ago. Left this review also on Google and the owner said to email and reach out. So I did and have heard nothing back.

The restaurant is spacious and can easily accommodate larger groups of people. The food is from what I remember has been consistent and delicious, the only thing that's notable changed is the price, which can be on the pricier side nowadays unfortunately. This time around I took a small group of friends here and ordered some of my favorites. The peking style pork chop is a classic here, deep fried and moist with a sweet and sour sauce. The best part about this dish is that there's no bones either (unlike some of the other pork dishes). The beef chow fun is what I believe the best beef chow fun in MN. It's so freaking good I think you just have to try it for yourself. Another classic starter dish I got was the seafood tofu soup. Hot, thick seafood soup with tofu is refreshing to start with, and when you top it off with a dash of white pepper it gets even better. The fried oysters are a recent addition to my favorites; cripsy without too much fishiness/oceanic flavor, and also very meaty. The batter and salt/pepper onion flavoring is also very strong and pairs well with the oysters. And lastly I usually get some sort of vegetable. This time around I got the yu choi in garlic sauce, which was clean and just tender enough to add a nice bite of fresh veggie to our meal. I would also recommend the achoy or chinese brocolli if you're into that as well. They also give you a free dessert of what I think is taro tapicoa soup? Either way it's a nice sweet treat to end the meal on.
