I called numerous places trying to find replacement glass for a huge picture window (7 1/2 x 8 feet). All of them told me that they don't make glass that big anymore. A friend recommended Leo's Glass. Even better, Leo's was local, in my old hometown of Sylmar, and a couple of miles away. Leo came out to my house, measured my window, more than once, and brought glass samples. I went with the dark privacy glass. Leo came out again to double check the measurements and get a deposit. A few days later he installed the glass. It took three men to remove the old and install the new. Very beautiful. Just the look I wanted as we are remodeling the pool with a spillover spa, new pavers and all. Previously, the window was covered by trees and bushes, which we removed. When you open our front gate you see the pool and spillover spa and that huge window, and I wanted to update the look as we still have to restucco and paint. Thank you Leo! Well I called to get an estimate but unfortunately the lady that answered was flat out rude and unprofessional. Cut me off before I could even get my words out and very rudely stated " Leo is BUSY! HE NOT AVAILABLE FOR 2 WEEKS." absolutely horrible customer service. She pretty much hung up on me before I could even ask another question. Why anyone would ever deal with a company like this is beyond me. There are plenty of good reliable glass repair services around here who's customer service goes above and beyond. I only called because they were recommended. Maybe Leo is better at handling people and more professional, unfortunately I wouldn't know. What I do know is the woman who answered should NEVER deal with people and should stay away from answering phones if they want more business. Even if he is busy for the next 2 weeks, her approach at speaking to a potential client was subpar and unprofessional. Which sucks for the actual owner (probably her husband) because he's gonna end up losing more than winning because of her. read more

We are in the process of building a new home and we needed some special order windows. This place was referred to us and they had great turnaround time. My mom went in to order three windows. She was helped by two ladies one of which she says seemed to be in the process of being trained. My mom stated that she needed three special order windows that weren't the standard size for a new construction that we are working on (mind you, my mom knows nothing about construction or windows but was the only person available to go. She had with her a note with sizes, style and what kind of glass was needed). Now this is where it gets sketchy. So they proceeded to ask my mom what kind of windows she needed. They asked if she needed retrofit windows. Obviously she didn't know what that meant so she called our contractor. Our contractor told my mom to tell them that they are windows that can be nailed directly into the wood of the window frame of a new construction. My mom told them this and repeated that they were for a new construction. She signed a paper, got a receipt and headed home. A couple weeks later she gets a call to go pick up the windows. As soon as she got home the contractor immediately told her they were the wrong windows! They had written on the receipt that they were retrofit windows even though she had stated that she needed them for a new construction and neither one of the ladies caught that. My mom called back to see if there was anything that could be done and they basically told her that she was out of luck. I understand that we must look over what we are signing but my mom had no idea about technical terms, explained exactly what she needed, and relied on the expertise of the people working there. I suggest that if you're looking for windows for a project go somewhere more knowledgeable because you might end up like us with something we paid for but can't even use. read more

they are getting 1 star because yelp has yet to have negative stars. These people have no customer service skills or sense of time. after 7 hours of waiting for a call back the lady answering phone gets mad cause im not happy and hangs up on me 3 times. None of my point as a customer were valid and case in point waited all day and still have a broken window. Even after I told the rude ass lady on the phone if I would have been told I would not get any service today and could have called someone else. "SHE SAID DO WHAT YOU LIKE"! AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN. how they stay in business is the million dollar question. I hate being rude but when you call for a service call at 7:30am and check a few times with the rude lady and by 2pm your still waiting and get treated like crap. uh no.... Save yourself the aggravation and call a better company that will give you a timeline. Now my only day off was waisted and the window can wait til next week. Terrible customer service. It took them over 4 months to even come out and evaluate the window. Multiple times they provided a date to come and fix the window and would not show up or even call to notify me they were not going to show up. I had to keep calling them to see if they were even going to come. They never follow through when they say they'll call back. How this business is handled is very unprofessional. Is there a negative 5 stars I can click somewhere? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY ON THIS THIS COMPANY!!! They give you cheap initial quotes, but are totally undependable unresponsive. All you get is excuses and "the run-around" from them. I wasted my whole day waiting for them to come to my house for an estimate despite calling them multiple times. Very RUDE, they don't respect the customer or their time. The appointment was scheduled for 11 am and the tech was a no show. I called at 12:06 pm and asked what was going on. Lorena said she would call me back in 2 minutes. No call back. At 12:34pm I called back and said that Leo the tech was not answering. I asked to speak to the manager, she said that he would be in the office in a 1/2 hour. No call back. At 1:18 I called and spoke with a different rep, Araceli. She said she would call me back, which she did at 1:23. She claims the tech was "stuck in traffic." I asked to speak to the owner. She said he would be there in an hour (is this the standard answer to everything? The NEXT HOUR never seems to come!). I said, what happened Lorena told me in a previous call over 1/2 hour ago he would be there in a 1/2 hour. Then I find out that the LEO is the tech and the OWNER. I looked at the traffic map on my iPhone and did not see any traffic and Leo would be at my place within an hour. I asked where Leo was coming from and she did not answer my question, she claims she is "only an employee". Does she not know the information or does she not want to tell me? I don't know. I don't care and I am getting pretty irritated at this point. I asked for Leo's number and left him a message on what seems to be an office voice mail machine at 1:27. He never called me back. Over an hour since I talked to the rep from the office at 2:30, still no show, no call back from ANYONE. I called Leo again. I asked what what going on and that I had an appointment at 11am (3 and 1/2 hours ago!) for him to come over to look at my broken sliding glass door for an estimate. Leo THE OWNER said he didn't know the schedule for the day. WHAT KIND OF OWNER/TECH DOES NOT KNOW THE SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY! This is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. I told him I was tired of waiting, getting a run around by his employees and him, that I planned on leaving a review on YELP and to not bother coming over. I no longer needed his services. Family owned business with very friendly customer service. They have the best prices in the valley and are very efficient. I got my shower doors, Mirrors, table top glass and closet doors I was very pleased with the quality and fast installation . They are sometimes busy but it's definitely worth the wait! After buying our first home we needed to remodel so we figured in taking the advantage to purchase shower doors. I called to set a appoiment and the person who helped me over the phone was very informative and friendly. I made a appoiment and Leo came out to give us our FREE estimate ! When he came we decided to also get a estimate for some mirrors in our bathroom, new closet doors and add glass for some shelves . Leo was an expert and recommended what would look best any questions I had he addressed them properly. The next day after coming out they called me with the estimate and the price was unbeatable!!! I gave them a deposit and about 5 days later my home was looking better and better. I'm very glad to have gave them my business and would recommend them to anyone. Keep in mind sometimes they are very busy and it can take a couple days for them to get back to you but it's definitely worth the wait. read more
