We ate here for St. Patrick's Day. I had a boozy coffee, soup and their signature salad. Everything was okay. Our waitress kept forgetting about us and never answered my menu questions that she said she would find out for me. Her visits to our table were so infrequent that I did not ask again. Overall, the menu is an eclectic, typical Greek fare with them being known for their coney's (hotdogs) with various toppings. My salad was fine, iceberg lettuce with a variety of toppings: pickled beets, tomato, olives, chickpeas and feta with Greek dressing. Not bad, not mind blowing. It was raining outside and our window was leaking in water. Luckily, are booth was a good distance from the window so we didn't have to sit in the puddle. Everything seemed long and drawn out, like a bad production. Food was good enough. We left feeling, meh instead of Oppah!!! Great location, and perhaps we just hit at the wrong time. We came from Chicago heading to Northern Michigan and really wanted a Detroit coney dog but didn't wanted to drive out of our way to go to Detroit! We found Leo's on our route and decided to pull in and give them a try. These coneys are the real deal! Exactly like a Detroit coney! The dogs, the chili, mustard and onions were delicious! Love Leo's Coney Island! I dined in here for dinner around 730pm on a Wednesday night and it was pretty empty. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and sat down in a booth. I already knew what I wanted so I pretty much ordered right away and the food came within 10 minutes. The chicken finger pita is a go to for me at coney islands and this one was good. Definitely need to pour the ranch on it or dip it as your eating it. They have the best ranch here! Also really enjoyed the fries. They were fresh and crispy. You can get out of here for about $15 a person for a meal which I think is great. Classic diner and reminds me of all my coney visits back on the east side of the state. read more

Nate and I had a special Valentine's Day breakfast date here after a hot yoga class at Funky Buddha around the corner. Hot tip, Valentine's Day breakfast over Valentine's Day dinner. Cheaper, less competition for a table, don't need a reservation, and breakfast is my favorite meal of the day anyway! We were seated right away and checked out the menu. They have breakfast all day, every day, but they also have breakfast specials which was exciting to see. Their breakfast plates are $1 off on Monday through Friday, 7 am until 11 am. I got the two eggs, meat, and hash brown breakfast that comes with toast, and Nate ordered the stuffed breakfast pita that has scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and American cheese. Oh, and we also got a fruit cup, for health. The food came out quickly and everything was cooked perfectly. I wasn't sure what to expect with the breakfast pita, but it was really good. The pita was the soft fluffy kind, which was nice. We added hot sauce to it which made it even better. My eggs and bacon were great! The hash browns needed a bit of salt, but I really appreciated and enjoyed this classic diner breakfast. They do have a full bar and specialty coffees, cocktails, and boozy adult shakes! Being from the Mountain West, I've never been to one of these locations. I went for breakfast and had a good experience. The staff was really friendly and attentive. Food was ok, nothing extraordinary. I liked the cinnamon French toast a lot. Bacon was a bit undercooked. And the ends were a bit runnier than I was hoping. The restaurant had a diner feel to it. This was a great stop for a post-Museum dinner with the family - my son loved his chicken noodle soup and orange juice, I enjoyed the cheese fries and hot chocolate, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Leo's is solid for exactly what it is: a diner. It's not as cheap as the local family places, but not surely going to break the bank. Food is good, always hits the spot but it doesn't necessarily provide a life changing experience that you'll crave. Staff are very friendly though, which I find important in a diner-style setting. This is basically your classic diner experience with better food. They serve breakfast all day, and that's pretty much the only thing I've ordered here... maybe a salad once. They are capable of cooking eggs well in several different ways, the bacon is cooked perfect, and the potatoes and bread are high quality. They also have a little bar and serve drinks as well. They close at 9, we get in at 8:15, the waitress gives us our checks at 8:53 as we are pretty much done with food. She comes back and rushes us out and says we are trying to close. I've worked in restaurants before, you never actually get out at closing time. The latest our group would've left is 9:02. Something we learned the hard way. If you place an order online for a later time they make the food as soon as you place the order and it sits getting cold waiting for you. If you ask for your money to be credited back to your card they have no way to provide you a credit. read more

Meh , it was ok. I mean if you're hungry and you want a step up from Denny's or about the same level as ihop then come here. The coffee was watered down and so was the orange juice and you can tell by taste, color, quality. Definitely did not finish my coffee. The food, not bad at all. Eggs were cooked to perfection, homefries were kinda plain, (no onions or peppers or much seasoning, but did the job). Cream cheese stuffed French toast with strawberries was a bit elementary. Some cream cheese warmed in between two pieces of French toast. Strawberries weren't farm fresh, tasted decent though. Corned beef hash wasn't bad. It was fresh made, light on the seasoning, yet still had good flavor. Overall, it was a good meal, definitely should step up the coffee and oj game, cause it was noticeable upon the first sip. We tried a couple other places but liked the food here better. This location also has alcohol if you wish to have a drink with your meal. Breakfast well priced and menu offers many options. Have been a few times so far and the staff has been very friendly and accommodating. They have the same exact menu I'm used to and the food does not disappoint! Wow this is my first and last time here where to start we came in and sat down only one customer there we were at a dirty table had to ask for the table to be cleaned I went to the bathroom and walked passed two tables that were full of plates and food from other people and she did not clean those tables off the whole time we were there she came back to our table to our drink order we got that and then she did not come back for another 15-20 minutes she spent the majority of her time talking to the other customer she told him how she is all bye herself when she closes up there was another waitress but she was not doing much either we finally ordered and got our fries and chili dogs and about 30-40 minutes later I hate to see if they were busy you could eat and just walk out because they are not paying attention anyway the hotdogs were cold the chili was cold wow the chili is out of a can garbage how hard is it to make a chili dog really sad I love chili dogs and this was absolutely horrible nasty downtown food with absolutely no pride in there food or service this place is in a great place but will not make any money until they replace the staff with real workers good luck we will definitely never come back terrible service and terrible food if you can't cook hot dogs you should not be in the kitchen read more
