I wanted to like this place, and I'll probably give it another chance, but I was not impressed. The other reviews seem to suggest it's past it's prime and that's probably true. I called for an appointment and they almost seemed inpatient or skeptical I would show. I was early and still waited about 20 minutes. No one was particularly friendly or customer service focused. The service seemed fine enough. But after I was sorely disappointed. My nails changed colors permanently from pink to tan the next day. I've never experienced that before. And my toes promptly smudged that evening. Hours after they were done. With tip I paid $90 so that was disappointing. The store is located on the second level overlooking Yebos patio. I've been a loyal customer of Les Mains Nail Bar at The Works since January 2022. I regularly booked pedicures with Lewis and, for the last year or so, SNS manicures with Jenny. I always tipped at least 20%, arrived on time (if not early) for my bi-weekly 9:30 AM appointments, and was consistently kind and respectful to everyone. When I do get serviced, I'm quiet and low-maintenance--I put my headphones in and only speak to the techs to say thank you or compliment their work. I don't communicate directly with them about appointments. That's always handled through the front desk. This past Saturday, I had just gotten back from a vacation and called at 10:02 AM to book a manicure with Jenny. I was offered a 1:00 PM slot, which I accepted--even though I know they typically don't book on the hour. They called me back at 11:59 AM and moved it to 1:30 PM, which I also accepted. I arrived at 1:34 PM but had trouble finding parking. As a pregnant woman, I need extra time to safely park and walk to the door. At 1:39 PM--just as I was walking in--I received a call from a front desk staffer I'd never seen before. She said Jenny canceled my appointment because she didn't want to delay her schedule. I explained that I was flexible in shifting my time from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and was in the parking lot within the grace period but had trouble finding parking. I was met with condescension. Another woman at the front said, "We don't schedule appointments on the hour. I don't know if that's something you and Jenny arranged." Again--I don't speak to techs directly about scheduling. That's handled by the front. When the owner offered to place me with another tech, I politely declined and decided to leave and simply reschedule for another day. On Monday at 5:59 PM, I called back to rebook with Jenny. At 7:36 (6 minutes after they closed), I received a voicemail telling me Jenny no longer wanted to service me due to "ongoing issues," and that Lewis--someone I've always been warm and generous with--had also given negative feedback. These claims are completely false. I don't interact with the techs beyond greeting them by name, thanking them, and tipping well. There have never been any "issues." These are outright lies about me, and I'm convinced they may have mistaken me for someone else. I've referred friends here, been nothing but pleasant, and supported this business for over 3 years. To be treated this way, especially while pregnant, is deeply disappointing. They not only lost a loyal client--they disrespected her without cause. read more

I am writing this as I'm sitting in a doctors office waiting to treat an infection in my nail, I went last Saturday at the recommendation of a friend. I am from out of town , went to the Buckhead location. red flag #1 they left me sitting for 40 min even though I had an appointment ! apparently their strictly no late policy does not apply to them! 2nd red flag :the tech working on my pedi had swollen red cuticles herself seems to have an infection...this same tech cut my toe nails so short and at the corners! This causes ingrown nails! Really poorly trained staff and dirty equipment. I have been having pain in my big left toe as a result . I only hope I don't get a toe ingrown from this appointment, I already have to go on antibiotics and endure a painful infection in my fingernail. Beware of this place!! Health hazard! read more

I really wanted to like this place but I got a pedicure and manicure today and the experience was awful. The guy that did my pedicure cut my toe and it bled for a bit. He then painted my left toe but kept smearing it so he had to keep redoing it. He also filed too close to the skin and it hurt like hell. The woman that did my manicure also cut my cuticle too deep and it bled. What in the world? I have 4 bandaids on right now and am getting married in a week. -10/10! People need to stop recommending this place. Parking is also limited since the shopping center is busy. Will not be returning. This was my first time visiting the Buckhead Les Mains location, but I do religiously go to the Midtown, The Works, and the Buford locations depending on what area of town I'm in when my nails need some love. I did have a bit of trouble finding the salon at first. It's hidden in the courtyard at Andrew's Square behind Lucy's Market. I came on a Friday after work around 5:30 and was seated immediately. The salon was quiet and the vibe matched the other three locations completely. It was clean, had a great color selection, and the employees were friendly. I went for a basic pedicure, which was quite literally basic. The tech cut my nails, cleaned them up, and painted them. There was no callus removal, cuticle oil, or lotion/massage included in the package. My total came out to be $32 after tax/tip which is a bit pricey, but hey, it is Buckhead. Les Mains is a consistently good salon and I will continue to visit! read more

This is one of the hidden gems of Buckhead. I was lucky enough to hear about this salon from a friend of ours as she prepared for her wedding. We showed up with very little notice with a gaggle of people and were warmly welcomed. Let's start with the appearance. The atmosphere in this salon is so welcoming and profession. From the warehouse industrial-chic appearance down to the perfectly white walls gives an air of a clean, well-maintained salon. A+ in my book! Today was no different. We were immediately greeted by Linda & Tony (who I have since learned is actually the owners) who greeted us and prepared us for our services. After only a two minute wait our group of three was taken for our services. Quicker than any other salon we've been to. As soon as we sat down we were offered a beverage and they made sure our comfort was guaranteed. Our services on both occasions have been way above and beyond (I've seen Amber both times). Nothing but great things to say! When we finished the owner always checks to make sure we enjoyed the experience. That's a business that cares! Highlight: This was my first ever mani pedi in my life, but based on my experience here, I can tell you why people get hooked on it and come often! It was my anniversary weekend, and Bill and Linda, a young lovely couple who opened this beautiful joint this past week, set me up with Jenn, who gave me the best 2 hour massage and treatment. The best part about this place is that there is great ventilation and you can barely smell any chemicals. The location is pretty convenient and parking was quite easy. The facility is new, clean, and classy. It is definitely worth coming to for a 5 star get away spa. Pedicure- I got the spa treatment and this included a sugar scrub, exfoliation of my soles and feet, cleaning of cuticles, filing of nails, massage, and polish. Jenn did a great job- Don't be shy to ask for more pressure which I should have asked for, but it was definitely very relaxing. I liked how they paid great attention to your nails and different parts of your feet and gave feedback to what you can better care for instead of quietly scrub away at your feet. Manicure- This was my first true manicure in my life- but based on the massage and the gentle touch of the brush on my finger nails, trimming, and polishing of my cuticles and beds, I understand why some ladies come every 2 weeks for maintenance. Definitely very addicting in terms of pampering. For 10$ without masssage and 13$ for the massage, this is definitely worth the money to have tired hands pampered and massaged. Facility- I love that there was no smell of chemicals anywhere, something I usually am wary about since I am sensitive to chemical smells and that is probably why I've shied away from nail salons. It is high ceiling, bright, and classy. One feels like they escaped to a resort or some high end place in Buckhead for sure. the chairs are also massage chairs ( I wish the massage pressure was harder, but then again this place is here to make you relaxed not squeeze the pressure outta ya). Just got a lackluster experience from a fav nail place and am not the happiest about it. I've been to this location several times and have always received great service, mani/pedi, designs, etc... this time was totally different. I didn't have an appt, but they were still able to accommodate me. I went in for a gel mani/pedi and got seen immediately. My main issue is my pedi... my mani is blah, but I'm very picky with how my regular nails are shaped so I don't fight too much about it, but my pedi... annoying. Pedi is ok up until the point where she starts wiping my legs with anal napkins, then starts spacing them out with those napkins to get ready to polish.... This is before she even scrubbed my legs & did the whole lotion/massage thing. I was confused, but didn't say anything bc everyone has their own process. Once she's done painting my gel pedi, she starts the lotion/massage thing, but she is literally scratching my legs with her nails & then doesn't put any lotion on my feet?... the same feet she just got done using a small pumice on... so they need lotion. I had to ask her to go over some areas on my feet bc there was literally dead skin that needed to be buffed off & then mentioned lotion... still got none. The girl was nice, but the pedi was lackluster. I went up to pay & told the ppl at the desk & they said I need to tell her bc some ppl don't like a "rougher" pedi.... I just wanted the dead skin off my damn feet... didn't know I needed to request that for a pedi. This isn't a HUGE deal, but I had a baby 8 weeks ago & this is the one chance I got to do something for myself & this was the experience I got smh. I've been going here every few weeks for the last six months and thought I finally found a place in Buckhead that was a good clean. However, I was wrong. The lady who did my pedicure today, completely disregarded all health standards and actually cleaned the tools with my dead skin on them in the water my feet were soaking in... After that, she put lotion on my legs and let it sit there until it dried up instead of messaging it in lol, and she had to use a rag that smelled like mildew to scrape it off. I went home and immediately scrubbed my legs to make sure I didn't get an infection from her clogging my pores with dead skin and dried up soap and mildew towels. Very disappointed. read more

VERY bad attitude from the manager. I was 10 mins late for an appointment. Was told that I should have called when 5 minutes late. I apologized and explained a broken down car. They still did my nails (had plenty of room by the way) but I was ignored until one hour after my appointment time. It was irritatating but, I was late. So lesson learned. I paid and even tipped as it wasn't the nail tech's fault. Fast forward to today. I called to make another appointment. The manager told me that because I did a no show last appointment they couldn't honor a new appointment for someone like me. ???????? I was sure it was a mistake. I explained that there must be a mistake.... I did show but was late and offered to send a copy of my credit card receipt. I was then told my negativity wasn't needed in their salon. To make matters worse, they CALLED me back AND told me that they did remember me. The manager wanted to be sure I remembered their salon wasn't for someone like me. This is a super popular nail salon and for a reason. It's super clean, prices are reasonable and in line with other similar salons, and all the staff are really nice. I've only had a pedi done and loved it. They took their time and their massage chairs are great. If you're looking for a quick pedi where you're in and out in less than 30 min, this probably isn't the place for you. I do wish they spent more time on the foot massage portion (the scrub and calf massage was great) as that is my favorite part of a pedi. It's worth noting that I did select the most basic pedi option. I recommend making an appointment versus trying to walk-in. Loved my experience at Les Mains Nail Bar. I came maybe 30 minutes before they closed and had no issue with being service. I had SNS polish on my hands and I haven't had a pedi in a while so they had their work cut out for them. Tim (pedicure) and B (manicure) did an excellent and thorough job. They were both pleasant, funny, and gentle with my nails. I do think the place is pricy but that is Buckhead for you. The actually salon is gorgeous and doesn't smell of nail polish which is a plus. Angie did my nails, and she was super attentive and really cared that she got the length/shape right. Fantastic salon. The salon is very beautiful and clean. This is my second time going to Les Mains Nail Bar, and it has been a great experience both times. There is free parking in the front. It can be a little tricky to find because it's mixed in with some other shops. Once you park, walk into the shopping area (it's semi outside). Then you'll be standing in the middle of a small courtyard. Walk up the stairs and to the left and you should see the shop. I got a regular pedicure done today by Karen. She's very gentle and always does a great job. She takes her time and my nails look great. Karen will help you pick out colors too if you ask! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. For context: My mom and I have gotten our nails done every 3 weeks for the past 5+ years. Every time we go we get dip manicures and regular pedicures so the bill ends up being $150+. Les Mains used to be a place that we would look forward to going and enjoyed their service. Unfortunately, for the past year or so, the customer service has gotten so bad that we will not be returning to the salon. Multiple times the man who seems to be at the front desk often has tried to upcharge my mom and I for a nail shape that we did not ask for. The first time he rudely informed me that the current shape on my nails was "almond" even though I had no idea what that shape was and have never asked for it. After this experience, we would remind each other before we walked into the salon to make sure to request "round" so they wouldn't upcharge us. We specifically did this today, and the same situation happened to my mom and the man was extremely disrespectful and seemed to want to pick a fight in the salon. I just graduated from college in a different state, so when I come home we get our nails done together. Multiple times I have had the same man say "Did you get your nails done here last time?" When I reply, "No," he rudely remarks "I can tell". These kind of comments are things that happen frequently at Les Mains and are extremely rude and unnecessary. My mom and I continue to have bad experiences, try to give the salon yet another chance, and are sorely reminded that our money is best spent elsewhere.
