The staff was super sweet! I wanted to love this place so bad. Unfortunately the quality was just terrible. And I never leave bad reviews I don't want to be doing this!! I got my nails done last Thursday (dip SNS), it's currently Tuesday. Mind you, i always have my nails done and it's my natural nails if that speaks to my nail maintenance and how I never have issue of nails literally cracking apart. I usually go about 5 weeks between appointments (I get them fairly short so I can type on my computer). By Friday (next day after nail appointment), one was already cracking apart, taking my natural nail off with it. By Saturday, I had 3 nails missing cracked off completely, my natural now came off with it. It's now Tuesday, I have 3 nails left. I got them done for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in and had to hide my hands in all the photos because half my nails were cracked off! Also, the woman doing my pedicure accidentally touched the gel polish before it dried so she had to buff it off and took no care to my skin around the nail, it was incredibly painful and my toe was covered in blood at the end of it. I don't like leaving bad reviews! But unfortunately it was money down the drain and I have to (less than a week later) go get them done again. I've been coming to this nail salon for about 9 months and sadly are just writing a review! I had my last service for 2021 rendered today. The salon was a lot more packed than I've seen in all my months of coming in but the staff was able to fit everyone in as they could for any walk-ins. I recommend making an appointment to guarantee your slot. Today was nothing usually for me which was a Sports Pedicure - by the way, there are several other options ti choose from. And I got a fill -in with gel polish (color red). Mike is my nail. I was referred to him and I he's stuck with me. Mike does amazing work. He's a perfectionist and you can tell he cares and are very passionate about his work. My nails are proof as I always get compliments. For my pedicure, I go to Tracey or Mikes wife Ivy. They are both amazing as well. Very nice and attentive! There are others services such as brow and lash service - a one stop shop. The location is in the same place as Candytopia across from Twin Peaks on Piedmont Road. They offer wine request. They just started back offering wine service as they took a pause due to the pandemic. Don't expect a fancy wine glass as they are taking precaution serving wine in the disposal clear wine cups. They also offer bottle as well to help quench your thirst. Yes there are several mix reviews for Lush but personally I'm completely satisfied with the service I've received and TRUST ME, I'm very picky when it comes to my nails so they are doing something right lol Give them a shot if your in the area! I came here on Monday. I did a call in and told the lady I as 4 mins away. After using the ladies room, I was immediately shown to the pedicure side. The pedicure was cool. After spending almost 50$ just for a gel pedicure. My toes look good when I left. But later on that night, I noticed the shine was gone from my left toe. I came back today to get it fixed. I called ahead and told her I will be there in 5 mins. Long story short, I hate that I spent almost 50$ to have to come back to get my toe fixed. I was willing to give the lady her tip but I didn't since I am assuming they calculated it in at the end. This will be my last time coming here. And I will go back to My other nail spot. read more

I've been coming here for about 2 years, and I am overall pretty pleased with the services here. Yes there have been a few occasions where I left not really loving my nails, but because those occasions are so few and far in between, I haven't let those instances stop me from coming back. I usually get SNS manicure and gel pedicures and they usually come out alright. I like that they are pretty fast, and the salon is clean. The staff are friendly, and I don't ever feel like I am not welcomed. I will say the prices here are a bit steep, but that's to be expected (especially now) given the location and the target audience. I've learned over the years of getting my nails done that you must speak up during your service if you don't like something about your nails or how you're being serviced. Closed mouths don't get fed lol. You are paying for a service so don't be afraid to use your voice if you're dissatisfied during servicing. They were nice enough to take me in at 7:25 but once I sat down the tech had hand warts all over her right hand. I understand that things like that are sensitive topics but hand warts are contagious by touch and last up to 6 months. I have grace but also I can't risk making myself unwell to be "courteous". Once I noticed I asked for the nail to be removed, washed my hands rigorously and left. I think this was my sign to find healthier alternatives to nail care and stop going to these quick salons because hygiene isn't important to them. read more

I came to Lush Nails a while back for a mani pedi and was slightly underwhelmed. I was looking for a convenient location to get a gel manicure before an event and ended up back here. My nails were a hot mess and I decided to try gel for the first time because I didn't want to stress out about my nails getting messed up before I even got to the event later that evening. I called ahead to ask about the wait, and the guy on the phone promised only a slight wait - which was the case when I arrived at 5pm on a Thursday night. I took that time to select a gel color that I LOVED and still love to get now (I've been back one time since my manicure). I'm hesitant to share the OPI color with y'all... but check the picture I posted! I've had two gel manicures here since my first visit and both were very well done and lasted a long time. Each manicurist was professional and did a good job. A gel manicure is $30, but when you come for a second gel manicure, they will also charge for the color removal, which is a few dollars more. They also offer wine or bottled water during your nail service. Overall, a very convenient nail salon for me, being down the street from the office. While it's not the cheapest, it's great for a quick escape and a nice pampering. read more

This is quite literally the worst pedicure I've ever had. I say there for a full hour and still had yet to have polish put on my toes. I had a bottle of acetone dumped on my toes to remove the previous polish (my skin is still burning). The towel to wipe off the lotion was scalding hot. The pedicure itself was essentially petting my toes with a nail file. Could not recommend less. read more

I like this nail salon. I think they did some updating during the pandemic and it's very quiet in here today. Today is Wednesday about 6:30 PM. It's a little dusty but I wouldn't say that it's dirty. They also offer you water or wine or something to drink. They were pretty patient with me when I was trying to pick out a color. I would definitely come back. I received a standard manicure and pedicure at the spa yesterday. There was no one there - it was pretty empty. I was able to walk in get seated right away. I had someone start on my pedicure. Five minutes later someone started on my manicure. I was offered a glass of red wine, white wine, or something else to drink. I opted for the red wine option. The only thing I would called out and this is my first time getting my nails done in Atlanta. I got a a simple manicure and pedicure without no nail polish which came up to $60. I screenshot the prices of what they said the manicure and a pedicure is on their website for ease. This is without any regular nail polish or gel polish. My balance came up to $60 and then I tip the ladies both $10 each for a total of $80. I asked if they had a rewards program that I could sign up for which they did. Hope this was helpful. Update: I've returned twice for gel and within a week the nails start chipping. Lush is located in the Kroger plaza off of Piedmont. The store is open late(until 8pm) which gives you time for a workout at LA fitness, salon time, then grocery shopping all in one fell swoop. They have everything from waxing to nails to lashes etc. gel manicure is $30 and a refill or polish change is $20. Waxing starts at $8 for lips and goes up for eyebrows etc. Brazilian is $45. I went to this salon in a whim. I went to Tina (she was nice). She did a great job with my nails (the pic doesn't do justice); however, I was a bit shocked at the price because of the simplicity of my nails. I got take off ($10), full set w/gel ($55) so I was expecting the total to be around $70ish (due to length). To my surprise it was $85 and I did not get any designs. So that's an extra $20. I was recommended to this nail salon by a friend and I've been 3-4 times now. They are all about business and not very friendly. My one nail tech I've had twice now is absolutely amazing. She is extremely friendly and does an amazing job with pedicures. The other two times I had random nail techs and I decided to do SNS for the first time. It was a guy tech and I told them I wanted the same color for my toes. When I walked outside my toes were about 3 shades darker but not a big deal. Since it was my first time with sns I just assumed it was suppose to be grainy and not totally smooth. I asked a friend and she told me to go back and get it fixed so when I went back they fixed it right away but the owner/manager (I think) made another nail tech feel my nails to make sure it was grainy as if she didn't believe me. I went another time to take my sns and just do a regular polish change. I asked if they could get it done in 30min and she said no it'll be about 45 min and I was okay with that. It took 1 hour and 15 min. The female tech I had finished my toes and then went to help another customer while my nails were soaking. She came back and scraped the polish off and then went back to her other customer. I sat for a little bit and this male tech came and finished my nails. The below picture is how I left the salon. My husband could've done a better job than that. If you look closely you can see fuzzy stuff on my nails. Also, all this white dry stuff is on my fingers and around my nails. My hands are not that dry or ashy looking. I didn't have time to tell them to fix it for me because I was already running late to go pick up my daughter. If you go here ask for KIM. Been getting my nails done here for a while. Mainly because the chemistry between me and my nail tech and how much of a great job was done. I've also always brought my significant other here for pedicures many times and he enjoyed the service as well. Today was a bit different, Major disappointment : Walked in and made an appointment. Came here from the recommendation of my hotel concierge. Great nail salon with patient staff that weren't pushy and didn't try to upsize your treatments or packages. He gave me a clear manicure on the premise that it looks polished and clean and doesn't show when you make any chips or when your nails grow out after hearing me complain about the inconveniences with SNS and gel and how I don't have time to go to the salon all the time due to long work hours. There was another girl (I think her name is Jenny) who didn't talk much but she was very attentive to my needs and carried all my stuff when I went to get my eyebrows done too! This was my second time visiting this location. The first time was great! This time around it was awful! The manicure was rushed and when I was cut I was blamed for moving too much. The pedicure was terribly done with the polish clearly not applied evenly. The worst part of it was leaving in pain because the acrylic placed on my toe nail to fix a very small broken section was way too thick and too long. It was to the point where I couldn't even wear my shoes. I would have chalked it up to a bad day but it seemed they didn't really care when I tried to voice my concern. Incredible experience. Everyone I encountered was very polite, and helpful. I got a gel manicure, and the Deluxe pedicure complete with scrub & massage which was so fabulous I almost fell asleep. They were able to get my ingrown toenails out without any pain. I also remember coming here a couple years ago for an appointment with my 3 sisters and mom for our pre wedding nails. So I was in a search for a new nail salon home due to my previous nail lady giving me fat nails -_- so i initially wanted to go back to eminence nail salon but it wasn't a relaxing feel, so I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try Location: in a Kroger plaza. Can be a headache finding parking on busy days. Decor: pedicure chairs look relaxing (I only got SNS manicure) the manicure chairs are nice. Service: I like how they offer the customers wine (red or white), soda or water. They also are nice and listen to what you want. They do not try to up sale they respect what you want.
