Go Hawai'i! Go #37!
Karen S.

Although I could have gotten the Cinco de Mayo ticket special for only $5, I opted for a limited view seat at $17, for the OSU vs. UHM baseball game. Best seats go for $20. Note: I think E 10 11 is a great seat and the limited view is not that limited at my height LOL ! Plus, you know I wanted to catch a foul ball with my bare hands...;). By game time, those $5 seats in the upper left were sold out! $10 parking - cc only. For bb, try for diamond head side stalls for a tad shorter walk to the Les Murakami Stadium. For dinner, I enjoyed: $10 combo- Burger, Garlic fries ($1 extra), and a 32 oz beverage ($4.50). Super filling, as the burger is huge, with fresh tomato and lettuce. Barely finished the yummy, crisp fries. There's also a kid's combo for $8 with a 16 oz beverage. There are lots of snack options and yay, ice cream! When the lines are long, you'll need to battle your way to the diamond head side for napkins and the like...(only one kitchen was open tonight-because it is a weekday, maybe? As both were open Friday and Saturday, I heard.). (It's the reason for the loss of that one star; it was a sold out game, after all.) I was in that long line for another beverage when I missed #37's great catch, for a third out, which was replayed several times, thankfully, and confirmed upon review! Memories: While it's been over a decade since my last bb game here, it's funny how the familiar sounds never change;)! Love it! And the Manoa mist arrived several times, barely touching E 10 11. So far, that is! Game still in progress, Go Hawai'i!!!

Baseball game at the University of Hawaii in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii... When my friends from the Rising Phoenix Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce) offered group tickets to the home game against Long Beach State, I wanted to go! I haven't been to the Les Murakami Stadium at UH in many years. It's located by the parking structure on the lower campus. The last time I went, it was during the daytime and it was quite warm. This was an evening game, starting at 6:35pm. I carpooled with my friends who had a free parking pass! I followed them to the entrance where our tickets were scanned. We passed through security easily because we had clear bags (12x12x6 inches). I checked out the concession stands... both of them seemed to have the same menu. I just wanted Garlic Fries. I got a bottle of Coca-Cola, too. Tip: if you want ketchup, go early because the dispensers were empty by the timebi decided to get food. The workers are so busy that they don't have time to refill them. The restroom was clean. There was no line when I went because it was an off-time. I did get to go into the Skybox because someone knew someone... we had connections! It was a bit stuffy in there. They kept the door open. I brought a jacket because the Tradewinds kept the open-air venue cool. My seat was in the 3rd level, section CC. It had a roof - protection against rain and sun! Overall it was a fun time! Our President, Ryan Mercado, sang the National Anthem and our State Song! Our 2024 TOYA (Ten Outstanding Young Americans) Winner, Xeana Kamalani Dung, threw the First Pitch! She won a Gold Medal in 2018 when she was the Pitcher for the Puerto Rican Women's Softball Team! Best of all The Bows beat The Beach 10 to 5! Let's Go Bows! Oh... another good thing about getting the hookups is that we got a chance to go on the field after the game and get a group photo!

My family and I love coming here! Until I met my husband, I was never a fan of baseball, or any other sport for that matter.... But his family is made up of baseball, and all sports fanatics! So, needless to say.... here we are. When my husband was in college and needing to write a speech on something he really enjoyed, we decided that he'd write it on the history of baseball, the All-American sport. Through many nights of research and rehearsing, I had absorbed a lot of information, and also the an enjoyment for the game. We started attending games some years ago, whenever we could. Through the years, we've managed to make many memories here at Les Murakami Stadium. Now, as a family of 4, we intend to make these games into some really great family Outings. This past week, we tool our toddlers to their first UH Baseball game, and although the younger one is a little too young to know what she was seeing, our almost 3 year old son absolutely loved the experience! The stadium is awesome and well kept. There's just the right amount of vendors that the lines aren't overwhelmingly long, and the community of baseball fans are amazing! Since we're still dealing with some CVid mandates and stuff, Vaxx cards or negative tests are still required, and masks are still needed to enter at this time.

Post-covid review: During 2020 and 2021 it felt like I'd never see the inside of any stadium for a long time, if ever. Finally things are almost back to normal and I finally saw a baseball game today without any mask or vaccine requirements. Due to people telling me the concession stands would get too busy once the game started, we planned ahead and ate beforehand. We also arrived 1.25 hours early which is highly recommend because parking can get sold out. Since we got there early it was easy breezy no waiting to get in, no lines at any concession stand. We stocked up and enjoyed ourselves. Sure enough, once the game started the lines were 20+ people deep. Fortunately the restrooms were ok no waiting. I'd say the stadium was 60-70% capacity. Parking tip: always reverse in so you can make a quick getaway later. Also park near the exit vs closer to the stadium. The game turned out to be an awesome comeback and UH won. Good times

Signed up my son for the UH Rainbow Warrior Baseball Catcher's School at Les Murakami Stadium. It is only one hour sessions (10 days), but they cover a lot of things from technique to drills. There were about 16 boys ranging in age from 10 to 18. My son enjoyed the instruction and getting a chance to go on the field at the Les. We haven't been to a UH baseball game in awhile but we will make an effort to attend several games this season and support Coach Hill and the Warriors. Thanks to Coach Dallas and the players for putting on a first class baseball camp for young baseball players. Go Bows!

We are so happy to be able to attend the UH Baseball Games again. Last year was hard, no spectators . Come earlier, you will need to show Covid-19 Vaccination card or an online check-in code. I didn't check ahead of the game but I heard they check bags and you need to use a clear bag. I left my goodies in the car (so sad), but when we came I asked the guy collecting tickets and he told me they don't check the bags at this stadium. The food and drinks are the same. Tonight had a nice crowd, maybe 40% full. So happy to be back with friends and family.

Venue & Game - 5 stars Beer - 4 stars Food - 3 stars Aloha, haven't been back for a BB game in 3 years. UH game was super fun, there isn't a bad seat in the house. And yes UH won, whoohoo! Okay they serve GB marzen beer, nice. And there's GB garlic fries, nice. But really Sodexo you need to step your game up on the food. Chili, chicken tenders, big hot dog, all okay at best. If the food was better, I'd definitely come more often. We love going to games, just are foodies too. It's gotta be a full count experience.

Cheers

Enjoyed our 1st in-person Employees' Club event in over two years. Organized by our Employees' Club committee in coordination with the UH staff. We enjoyed a nice tailgate event with food, drinks, music, games, prizes and face-to-face conversations with our fellow employees, before the game. Added bonus, the UH baseball team won their Saturday game! Friendly staff and accommodating to our needs. Look forward to another sports event.

Hey batter batter batter! Baseball has got to be one of the slowest moving games, aside from golf. But I personally feel that watching sports live is definitely more exciting than watching it on TV, and baseball is no exception For me though, the thought of garlic fries, popcorn and hotdogs is what gets me amp'ed up, not necessarily the game itself. And it's nice to indulge at this stadium, where they don't charge you an arm and a leg like at some other venues (Blaisdell Arena, Stadium).

Bases are loaded! Hawaii vs. Wichita St.

I love this stadium! It's located near the parking structure at UH Manoa. I enjoy the games but mainly go there for the food! It's yummy and super cheap! They serve beer (Bud Light, Heineken, Gordon Biersch), popcorn, churros, hot dogs, pizza, fries, garlic fries, saimin, nachos, teri burgers. Oh, and you have to check out the Warrior Dog. It's a ginormous hot dog that can't even fit on the paper tray it's served on. It's always a good time at the stadium. Go Warriors!

Security was posted within the audience seated throughout the concert. The ac was strong. An older crowd in the audience. The row in front of us had their heads bobbing to the music. Helps when large and tall people sit in front of you at the last possible moment. Felt almost like a gospel vibe to me but could be cuz I was not familiar with the majority of his songs.

It's so off and confusing to where it's at. But, it is a decent place to have most events! If it's for a concert... Like we just went to for UB40? UH DUH!!! TOTALLY % YES!!! Why? Cause you'll be able to enjoy the show and SEE IT from the seats your in rather than watch los rod it ON A JUMBO SCREEN. Plus too, there are different choices of seating. Most people love the UPPER LEVELS. Yet, the stairs are a killer! AND... NO BARS so everything is balance and grace. But if your like me who USE TO LOVE IT, but don't anymore cause you worry your legs will give... well, there's the ground floor that has bleachers of seats. The seats are so much better NOW than they were before. So, highly recommend the ground floor for those who refuses to walk up stairs. Then there's the lodges. K those are GREAT, yet, my fear is falling OVER the ledge. And the stairs you MIST WALM UP to get there too! Lol! It's been a while since I've sat in this arena for anything. I think the last time was for a concert back in 2013! LADIES OF THE 80's with the hubby. Hehehe there were so much hubbies there that night. It was unbelievable! Anywho... great place to be at for events, concerts and whatnot. But terrible place to use heels and tight clothes (if you know what I mean) Oh! Prices varies with type of events and I truly honestly believe it's absolutely RIDICULOUS sometimes. However, I get it, bills must be paid and people must be bought to make the event go smoothly! Okie dokes artichokes! Have a good one and mahalo for reading... CIAO!

Kamalehua - The Sheltering Tree unfolded like a living memory, each note carrying emotion, each lyric rooted in something deeper than words. Inside the Blaisdell Concert Hall, I felt both present and carried-- drawn into a world shaped by voice, culture, and care. And yet, there was another kind of feeling-- a definite chill that settled in, unexpected, lingering in the balcony air where I sat. It pulled me slowly out of the moment, made distance where there had been connection. So I left at intermission-- not because the performance lacked beauty, but because my body could not stay where my heart wanted to be. Still, I carry what I witnessed: fragments of song, echoes of meaning, and the reminder that even a brief encounter with art can leave something lasting behind. NOTE: BUT, my personal experience was unfortunately cut short. I was seated in the balcony (Row H, the front row), and the AC was blowing cold!!! The temperature there was extremely cold--uncomfortable. I wasn't prepared for it, which made it difficult to stay focused and fully enjoy the performance. I ended up leaving during intermission, which was disappointing given how much I was enjoying the opera itself.

I wanted to do something totally different for our 28th Wedding Anniversary. We sat on the over 21 side (the alcoholics side) as they were affectionately known throughout the night . We chose this side only because it had a better angle to the stage. We got there really early but didnt need to really. We were first in line at the express entrance because we bought a Groupon for the concert.. There is really no need to arrive early and line up for hours we discovered unless you really really want to sit right down the front on the cement step near the stage. There is more than ample room to put your blanket down and relax and watch the show and the stage can be seen from anywhere. We sat on the first path half way up the hill just near the sound desk and it was perfect. By the end of the night though we had a lot of people standing on the path behind us but that didnt happen until about 11.30pm. I am a watcher and I watched the ample ample amount of security guards, no one seemed to be misbehaving even on the 'alcoholics side' and everyone was having a great time dancing and singing. You cannot repeat CANNOT take in anything other than a blanket. I bought 2 stadium seat thingys with the padded seat and back attached from Walmart for $18, they were well worth it as we sat on the grass for 7 hours and hardly got a 'numb bum'...... Each bag is checked thoroughly, every zipper was open and searched. Large backpacks are not allowed in and what was allowed in were completely searched as well. The drinks were overpriced, water, sodas were $3 each but the food was reasonable. 2 Hawaiian plates, rice with salad and chicken or chili franks were $8 each so not too bad. We didnt have any alcohol so not sure of the price, but previous yelpers say it was expensive. They were selling the large cans of Bud Light and looks like mixed drinks as well. Overall it was a fantastic night. If you dont want the noisy revelers sit on the under 21 family side but if you want an alcoholic drink you cant go back over till its all gone!
