I live right around the corner from this one. I use to live by the one by 132nd. After my recent experience the service here is far superior. I originally took my car in for a tire rotation and to fix a clunking noise coming from my front wheel well. They gave me a quote for shock and struts which hurt the pocketbook, but you have to do what you have to do. Upon picking it up I drove it for a week and notice the main reason I took it in(the clunking noise), which essentially made it sound like my wheel was going to fall off, was still present. Needless to say I was pretty fired up. I brought my car back and voiced my complaint. One of the mechanics asked me to leave the car again so he could recheck, so I obliged. Later on I received a call that they had fixed the issue, free of charge and I was free to pick it up when convenient. Now the repair obviously was probably not as expensive as what I had paid for my shocks and struts, but taking care of the issue and making it right I truly appreciated. That level of customer service is not common nowadays. People there are always friendly too. Even if/when I move I will return here as a lot of shops would not do the same. read more

I had a great experience at this location! Stopped by Les Schwab without an appointment before closing because my tire kept losing air. They found a scrap of metal that was causing a slow leak and fixed it fast -- had me out in less than 30 minutes at the end of their day. I had a nail sticking out on the side of the tire. They took the nail out, installed the spare tire, and ordered new one. I needed only one as at that time the car was only 7 weeks old and had only 1k miles on it. So far so good. The tire arrived the next day. I received the phone call from Tony. He said I can bring in the car but during the tire installation process they damaged the rim and will replace it for free. I thought that's OK, things like this happen, not a big deal. I went there (20 minutes round trip plus probably 20 minutes wait time for the service) and they installed new tire with damaged rim. Several days later they call me that new rim has arrived. I get there and have the new rim installed. In the garage I look at the rim and it seemed different, colors did not exactly match. Same as the edge of the rim was slightly different. I call them and they tell me to call back on Tuesday (I called them on Thursday I believe) as that's when a person (Tony) who ordered the rim will be available. I did not want to drive over the weekend on the rim they installed, so I drove there on Friday morning (third trip already) to have my old damaged rim installed again. Oh, they were not happy. First of all they kept insisting that the rims are the same - blaming weather and age of the rim. Second of all, the person just smashed the door behind me, showing me how angry he is that I dared to tell them what they ordered is not right. Very unprofessional. I want to reiterate that when Tony called me that new rim arrived I asked him few questions. Is the rim same as the one Kia would install, is the rim new and if the rim was refurbished. The answer I got was it's new Kia rim. Later I found out it was not. I called them on Tuesday afternoon (yes, they did not even bother to call me). Tony basically called me disrespectful (very unprofessional again) over the phone and was assuring me it's new Kia rim. I disagreed with him. I told him I would take his rim to Kia and if they say it's fake, he would order new one from them. He agreed. I went to Les Schwab again (forth time now) to get their rim, and went straight to Kia dealership (1 hour round trip). And of course they confirmed it's a after market copy of the original Kia rim. Tony ordered new rim from Kia, called me when it arrived. I went there to have it installed (this is 5th time now). He showed new Kia rim and their fake rim side by side, claiming they are the same and that he will install Kia one but I have to pay $300 extra. At that point I was tired and said I am done arguing with them and that I don't want them to install that rim and I will see them in court. When I said that Tony just left and came back 10 minutes later saying that Kia rim is installed. I thanked him and wanted to leave. Tony, instead of apologizing for the whole mess said something along these lines "Probably you should never come back here". Again, very unprofessional. read more

We declined, but booked an appt for two days later, they said it would take 30 min. Went in today for the 4 tires and were told it would take 1.5 hrs, they said it never takes 30 minutes. I had a pretty good experience here! I had a nail in my tire for a while and noticed air was leaking. I brought it in after making an appointment and was met kindly and without judgement. I had to wait about 90 minutes for the repair and chose to wait inside, which was pleasant. They have clean bathrooms, water, and lots of seating. The total repair was just $25 because they had to break a wheel lock, and I appreciated the low price and how kind and easy to work with the people were! I know nothing about cars but felt like they were being really honest and kind. read more

Had good experiences with Les Schwab in the past, but not here. Came in on Sat 45mins before closing. Picked out tires using their kiosk and talked to the front desk about scheduling. Lady said "do you want to do it now, it'll only take 30mins?". Considered it, but decided "naw, we'll come back Monday." Arrive Mon at 1:30 appt and are told it will take no less than 90mins. Guy at the front says that's standard and even if his entire team was on it they couldn't do 30mins, nobody does that. So I left. I feel like the first gal straight up lied about it being a 30min job. She probably just wanted our sale then and there and wanted to give guys work who were there. I'm sure it would NOT have taken 30mins. Again, either they straight lied or have no idea what they're doing to spread misinformation to customers. read more

My experience here has been fantastic. My van's tire was loosing air pressure daily and I was wondering what's wrong. Stopped by Les Schwab without an appointment. They were happy to help and soon found a nail in the tire. I was prepared to leave my car here for that day; but they said they could fix it in less than an hour. The associate walked me through the tire options; once I made the choice, I was out in like 30 minutes. Super fast service. My tire pressure light would not go off. A mechanic had tried to reset but that did not last. I was told it might be the tire sensor. My car is old so I was prepared to hear that all four would need to be replaced. The sensors were tested and only one needed to be replaced. They could have had all replaced and charged me but only did what was needed. So, an honest and expert shop with friendly customer service. This will be my tire shop! read more

I went to get a tire replaces, Zander argued with me that all 4 tires needed to be replaces. He said the manual states that is the case. I asked to see where this was stated, another gentleman provided the manual which states the customer may replace one, two or 4 tires. Not all 4 tires as was advised. The frequent of lies to upsell in unethical. I recommend any other tire center for service, specifically Costco which is cheaper and friendly to customers read more

My 90+ year old friend woke up the other day to find his battery dead. Jumper cables wouldn't reach back into his carport and the old battery wouldn't take an overnight charge. Neither he nor I were in condition to drop in a new battery. My friend doesn't have AAA membership. What to do? First, we called his local garage where he has taken his car over the years. They would hear nothing of sending one of their mechanics out. Then I thought of Les Schwab and called the nearest store in Kenmore, although they were understaffed that day they kindly passed along the details to Scott at the Bothell store. Scott sent out Justen with the new battery. He installed it and made my friend a happy camper again. He thoroughly explained remaining brake and tire life for me and provided me a written price quote for new tires at next rotation. 5-Star experience on a little job Brought in two John Deere lawn mower flat tires here - one i had already purchased a new tire from a 3rd party, mistakenly thinking i could install myself (wont do that again) - the other was an ordinary 'flat' No appt, walked in, was quickly helped by front desk person, who came out and GOT the tires (nice! keeping my work clothes clean) wrote up the job, estimated finish time. Later got a call, on time, saying work complete, I could pick up. When i did, the technician again walked my tires out to my vehicle for me. Very nice. Great communication, top notch customer service even for my 'little job', price was fair - will definitely return here when i need a 'big' job, well done Les Schwab. read more

I've always gone to les schwab and they do a phenomenal job. Found out I got a flat tire an hour before they closed. I called and they said I could come right in. I changed to my spare and drove over. They came out and looked at it and were very personable with me and listened to what I felt was going on with my tire. Inside is very clean, friendly, and comfortable! The thing I've hated with other places is that they make you feel stupid when you don't know much about car stuff. These people don't do that. They ran some tests and found some nails and problems with the two front tires. They were willing to try and repair it for free but also let me know that getting new tires is another option. They told me the tread was still good but I knew that I would continue to have my weekly flat tire issues that I've had for months now if I didn't get new ones. They showed me all the different tire options with a good analysis of price, performance, and warranty. I was in and out of there in less that 45 minutes as a walk in right before they closed. The biggest thing for me is that they never try to up-sell you! Very transparent and really want to hook you up in the best way possible. They recommended a cheaper price option and I agreed with them. They changed them super quick, and put my spare back for me. I really appreciate what they do here! read more

3 hours for a tire change. Called over the phone to set up a tire appointment and was told there was no wait and that I could get in right away. When I asked how long it would take because I had several things I needed to do today, I was told an hour. So I went in...and it took them 3 hours to change the tires on my simple little commuter car. And the store wasn't even busy. It took them an hour to get it on the jacks, another hour to figure out they didn't have all the tires they needed, 30 minutes to run to the warehouse for the tires and another 30 min to do the job. I've been a Les Schwab customer for over a decade. Some of my best friends used to work there, so I knew all about the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone downhill. Let it be known I used to like this location. They gave me a great deal on new tires and have always given excellent service; however, my last experience (along with a similar experience my wife encountered not too long ago) was dreadful. Even after arriving early, it took 3+ hours to rotate my tires. Granted, it was busy, and the crew had a massive workload. But the problem is they got my order mixed with another customer. During checkout, I told them these were not my keys, and they treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about. Even after explaining what happened (i.e., the keys were swapped), the workers were unprofessional to each other. Like, it's a mistake. I get it. It's forgivable; however, I know what my keys look like, and I know the make/model of my car, and arguing in front of a customer is probably not a good idea. The Les Schwab Rep told me they'd solve the problem. Several minutes later, I saw them take my vehicle in for service. As I sighed in relief, they erratically pulled out and parked in the same spot without telling me why. When I saw that rep again, they had moved on to a different customer--skipping my service entirely. Forty-five minutes later, a different rep took my vehicle in. To their credit, my car's tires were rotated in no time, and they apologized to me for the mix-up. Moreover, their vending machine seems broken. Even after paying for my drink, it seemed stuck. I told one of the Reps this, but they made excuses instead of offering me a refund. As for my wife's unpleasant experience, they had previously messed up her wheel, so when she told them to double-check and make sure the same mistake didn't happen again, they responded like she had just insulted them. I'm not ruling out going to Les Schwab ever again. We won't, however, be going back to this location unless they get their act together. read more

Without a doubt the Les Schwab folks are customer service orientated. I took my 2017 Porsche Turbo S in to have Ryan diagnose the noise that came front the front end . He checked all of the specs for the alignment and found that each number was within factory specifications. He gave me the print out of the numbers and showed me the photos of the tires that would scrub (creating the vibration and sound) with extreme turning. He took the time to explain to me in detail, what the issue was and ended with "nothing is wrong and the car is just fine. The true sign of the great focus on customer service was there was "no charge" for this much appreciated service that was performed in very short time.. My daughter brought her car in for an alignment, she was told she needed new control arms. They (the manager)quoted her a price with the alignment, she decided to take it back to get another estimate. We took it to another alignment shop that said control arms were not needed. I've always gone to Les Schwab in the past, but after this experience and reading a review down below that said the same thing happened to them I will not be going back again. This Les Schwab location was amazing. I had driven over a nail the night before and went in with my spare tire on my car (and no idea if my tire could be patched or if due to my all wheel drive I'd need four new tires which was not an expensive I anticipated or wanted to pay). The employees were amazing, they had my tire patched and my spare tire and jack put back where they fit in the trunk in less than an hour and they didn't even charge me anything for the service. I still feel so terrible I didn't have any cash with me to give for the amazing job they did that I appreciate more than they know. read more

I had gone to the mill creek Les Schwab and I was told I needed four new tires because I had two flats and needed four tires to make it even. I like the ability to schedule my appointment online. I was able to select the service, the date, the time that worked well for me all online. I selected "flat repair", even though I knew the tire couldn't be repaired. I miss the old Les Schwab, when they ran out to the car when you arrived. I don't know if that stopped because of COVID or if they just don't do it anymore. I also miss coffee and popcorn and water fountains, but...you know, COVID. Be that as it may, they did a good job replacing the tire and putting the donut spare back in the trunk. They were polite and got the job done in a reasonable period of time. I just wish it hadn't cost so much, but guess I have only myself to blame for that. I can recommend. read more

Hadn't heard from them all day on the status of my car, called 8 times and no answer, finally got my dad to drive me to check and they closed early without calling us. Had a hand written sign on the door that wasn't there this morning that said they closed early. So basically they all didn't feel like doing their jobs and now I'm left without a car for 3 days. I had a good experience here today. After spinning out twice on the Snoqualmie pass i realized (should've figured it out sooner) that I was in need of new tires on my f-150 (the stock Goodyear wranglers are not great btw). Wanted to get the biggest AT tires I could on my stock wheels and decided to pull the trigger on a level kit. Ryan hooked me up. I called at noon and they agreed to do it same day. By 4:45pm I had a 2" front lift, 32" open country ATs (now these are the Mazama brand and a little pricey but the warranty is solid and decided to give them a shot), an alignment and some new windshield wipers. With les Schwab you don't get the cheapest but their work is guaranteed and they are everywhere so to me it's worth it. Like I said, a good experience. read more

I took in my car to see if I could get a flat tire fixed with an obvious nail in the tire. They told me that they were unable to fix the tire and I would have to get the entire tire replaced. I took my car to Discount Tires and they were able to fix my flat free of charge. Customer service up front was great but I'm disappointed at the person like looked at my tire. If it was unfixable than why was Discount Tires able to fix it? Makes me feel like they don't want to fix my tire so that they can make money from a new tire. read more

I normally receive good service at Les Schwab. They have never been the fastest place, but the work was decent. Yesterday, I picked up my car after having some brake work. Today I went for a short drive. When I got to my destination, I see that I am missing a hub cap. I understand that hitting a big bump or pothole can sometimes knock a hub cap loose. My problem is that it was a smooth drive and I didn't hit anything. So I called Les Schwab, not really expecting much. All I was told was "that shouldn't have happened" and "we can place an order for one for you". Now I'm driving around missing a hub cap. I will no longer be doing business with Les Schwab. read more

I came in earlier this year to have my car serviced. A young man helped me out and he was very friendly. Everyone who helped me provided me with excellent and quick service. That wasn't the problem. I would have come back, except that I overheard and saw who I think was the manager, Scott (I made sure to get a good look at his name badge) speak to the young man who was helping me put in such a demeaning way. I don't think that micromanagement is professional or a good way of showing customers that you care about your employees. It wasn't only micromanagement, but he was putting this young man down and saying things that would make anyone feel bad. That says a lot about how this tire shop is run. If you see management treating the employees badly, please say something about it. read more

I've been a loyal Les Schwab customer for years. At my last tire rotation I was told that whoever did my last brake job pinched the brake line in the brake housing. I was told they did not know how much if any damage had been caused to the line but if it was damaged it could be very dangerous. I was given a quote for brake line replacement. This type of shoddy work would be very out of character for my excellent mechanic. I just am back from him looking at it and even taking pictures to document that the brake line is perfectly fine. My Uber driver said he had experienced the same type of shady upselling from Les Schwab. My mechanic as well. I want others to be aware. I am very disappointed in Les Schwab and feel I can no longer trust them. I'll have to get my tires elsewhere from now on. read more

Received car back after work with missing chrome shoulder screws that cost $3.50 each from the dealer which hold the hub cap on. Next time in all the screws were there and the car comes back after work with missing screws again, so this is routine. I called them on it this last time and they said they keep spares (which is a complete lie) and put them all in from the spares they had which were mine to begin with. Also had the rear brakes adjusted improperly to make so much heat the car almost caught fire on the freeway with kids in it. I don't do business there anymore. read more

I made an appointment online for a tire rotation and a brake check. I checked in a bit early....then sat there until 15 minutes after my appointment time. My car was yet to be touched. The place was not very busy - there were multiple staff members wandering in and out from the garage, chatting it up, etc. After sitting there 15+ minutes, I couldn't take it any longer. I asked for my key back and took off. I will be going to a different location from now on, as that's not how a customer should be treated. read more
