Canby Les Schwab is hands down the best branch to do business with. I had a huge issue dealing with the Molalla branch, which is the absolute worst branch to do any business with. Canby listed to my story and couldn't believe what I experienced at the Molalla location and without question made everything right they went above and beyond my expectations and from now on I'll be going out of my way to go to the Canby location. If you ever have the need to replace your tire pressure sensors please give Les Schwab a chance to do the job. I called mid afternoon one day to see if my Canby store offered this service. I went here to get my brakes done before driving home to CA. They wanted to charge me $1000 for brakes. I told them I didn't need the rotors done and they took off $250. Seems like a joke to me that I could pay, $60 per brake pad and do it myself at home but since I didn't have my tools with me they wanted to charge me $750 to change brake pads. I feel bad for anyone who doesn't know any better and actually would pay that much. read more

Driving home late my check tire light came on. Drove to Les Schwab in Canby. I showed up maybe 10-15 minutes before they opened. They came out to my car and took care of me anyway. That's exceptional. Small lobby but it's a small town. SportsCenter was on. Popcorn, coffee, all the usual suspects present. Friendly people working here. Got me back on the road and feeling safe in no time. read more

My brakes were sounding weird so I went here to see what was wrong with them, they ended up quoting me about $800 for new calibers and brakes they also said everything was so bad my car was about to start leaking oil. I got a second opinion, my calibers were basically in perfect condition and my brakes were worn but not to the point of damaging anything else. This led Schwab completely exaggerated/ lied about what was wrong with my car in an effort to over charge me $400. I recommend taking your business elsewhere! read more

This morning, these wonderful people drove to my hotel, filled my completely flat tire with air, then when I arrived at their place of business, they provided coffee, a newspaper to read, mounted my van, repaired my flat tire...THEN REFUSED ANY PAYMENT--because I was an out-of-towner! Complimentary service!! What a superb 1st impression!!! I'm from So. CA and I have NEVER in 61 years been so bowled over by their neighborly and friendly attitude, and so very helpful. I was traveling with my 90 1/2 year old mom from Central OR to Portland, pretty much stranded last night off of I-5 with a flat. It was only on my sister's recommendation I called Les Schwab--they aren't in my area, but she's been so pleased w/her service in Bend, OR. If anyone out there wants a DELIGHTFUL tire experience--who would think?--choose Les Schwab. They are a woman's best road friend. read more

Been a customer there for years but since the the old manager went to the Newberg store (I believe) Irving the old assistant manager left & the new manager took over customer service & employee knowledge has gone down dramatically. You can show up right at 8 but don't expect they'll touch your vehicle until 830-9 so you'll be waiting awhile. read more

Ordinarily I get my tires/brakes/winter changeovers done nearer my house at the Gresham Les Schwab store. But because I was meeting a friend in Canby, I decided to leave my van at the Canby Les Schwab for a winter tire changeover since Hubby and I are headed up to Government Camp later in the week for a few hours and heavy snow was predicted. I was warmly greeted at the front desk, and by the time my friend brought me back, my tires were all changed. What a great experience! From the young lady who checked us in to the tech who actually worked on my RV, they helped us to the very best of their ability! They got us in without the usually "we're sooo busy" comments. I don't think we were there longer than 20 mins! They diagnosed and fixed our minor tire problem that quickly! I came in for a simple tire change. One tire. I was planning for an hour and a half worst case scenario. So I planned ahead and showed up early in the day. Two and a half hours later, my car hadn't moved from where I parked it. Once they finally pulled it in, it took 15 minutes to complete. Seriously? It took 3 whole hours to get my tire changed. I even had the tire and rim ready in my car, just a quick swap and mount. I had to cancel my plans for the day because the tire change took twice as long as my worst case time estimate. I swear Les Schwab hires THE NICEST people. Had a screw lodge itself in my tire the night before. Went over to Les Schwab about 30 minutes after they opened. Was greeted promptly and they got my car in right away, without an appointment. Was expecting them to pitch me a new set of tires like other brands of tire centers. Instead, they fixed the hole and sent me on my merry way. All FOR FREE! Mind you, this set of tires was not purchased from there. I had a slow leak in my tire for 2 weeks and finally got around to getting it looked at by Les Schwabb. I wish I would of done it sooner because Dave was amazing. I brought my car to this Les Schwab last week because I needed to check my brakes. I normally go to the one in Salem, but I was in the area and I was seriously concerned about the noise my brakes were making. I was helped out by a young gentlemen named Sam. He inspected my brakes and recommended it was time for some new ones. I went ahead and purchased the brake job and as Sam was working on them, he noticed a giant nail was in my tire. Sam patched up my tire for free! The guy was super knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We talked for a little after he was done working on my car and he's a super down to Earth guy. I highly recommend this Les Schwab Tire Center. read more

Took my 2001 Subaru because battery was dead. Had them check to make sure it was not the alternator. They checked it out and said it was the battery. Bought a battery and the next day I am broke down on the freeway. Ended up it was the alternator after all. Went back and was told they can't check the alternator. Will never go back, should of taken car to real mechanic not a tire store. read more

I arrived with a flat (not a tire from Les Schwab) in the truck bed and the spare on the ground. I requested the flat be repaired and that they balance all 4 tires and rotate the rear to the front. No estimate offered but I figured I could trust a small town shop to be fair. Work proceed slowly despite the completely empty shop and when finally complete I was presented with a bill for $93.50 (OUCH!!). I paid and started for the door while examining the bill... When I returned to the counter and asked why I was charged $26.00 to rotate 4 tires that were already removed from the truck to balance them the manager became very apologetic and stated "they" should not have put that on there. I explained that I had just stood and watched him key in the charges 2 minutes earlier he got real quiet and meekly refunded $26.00 If you choose to do business here be sure to look for bill padding by charging for the same labor twice. So happy when I had the need to go to the Canby Les Schwab today. I had blown out one of my tires Saturday night, driving over an island curb, with no painting on it, when it was super dark and raining hard. Tire was completely ruined. We had just replaced all four tires less than six months ago. I was afraid I would go in and say they would have to replace at least 2, or all 4 to get them to match. Luckily, I had only driven a few thousand miles with that car between new tires and now. They inspected the other tires and determined they were still in like new condition, and still had in stock the exact tire. So, instead of cheating me and trying to sell me a minimum or two tires, they were nice and honest and just replaced the one tire with the exact same tire smile emoticon I was in and out in about 40 minutes and $126. so much better than I feared! read more

I came into the store today and Irving and another coworker where having a private entertaining conversation. I stood there for about 2-3 minutes while they gossiped like school girls without even acknowledging me. Later at the vehicle, Irving decided to do his best to Inform me what my issue could be after I told him what it probably is...I simply asked him to put it up on the lift an verify for me what I already new. I left with a very high estimate and a bad feeling about this store and customer service. I recommend America's tire and a real mechanic if you require brakes or steering components. They won't be getting my business ever again. read more
