We called in at 5 PM with a flat tractor tire they said if we were in by 5:30 they would get us fixed and back that they had a new tire in stock. The tire didn't actually have to be replaced. I needed a simple tire repair and scheduled an appointment with the Deer Park Les Schwab because I live near there and I like to keep my business local whenever I can. I brought my car in a bit early to assess how busy they were and saw a thriving business. The front desk was friendly and I waited patiently until my car was done. A technician came out with a surprise howeve; my brakes would need over $800 worth of service as soon as possible or they would be metal on metal which seemed odd since they worked beautifully and didn't sound any differently. I took my car home and the next morning my tire was still leaking. I don't know what to make of this except maybe I needed to tell the tech to repair the hole they agreed was in the tire? I'm just not sure, but I was not impressed. Courteous yes, but technically there's something off. read more

Haven't been to this store in awhile but wow has it gotten bad. Had to get a flat tire fixed so I had my wife dropped it off she said when she arrived she stood by the door with the tire for over 5 minutes before someone would help her. Even though there was only one car in the bays. Took about 2 hours to fix. A little long but I've had other stores take 6 hours to do the same work. And this is on a summer day not like its winter or spring tire rush. Then when I come to pick it up I stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting on someone to help me watching 3 guys just talking I caught two of them glance over at me threw the windows into the bays then go back to talking to each other so I decided screw it I'll just go grab the tire myself. Walk into the bay grab my tire walk out not a single person questioned me, or talked to me.....nothing!! For all they know I could have been stealing it. I got ripped off. I had four tires and four bare rims and asked them to mount the tires. Waited four hours and they did it in twenty minutes and charged me over $172.00. I didn't need a dismount or a disposal, but I got charged for them anyway because they said it's a package deal. Nobody charges that kind of money to mount and balance four tires, but they thought it was funny, hadn't put in new valve stems like I'd asked for, and I was missing two valve caps. read more

I went in for a much needed tire alignment took about 15 minutes to set up as I walked out over to the park 10 minutes later they called me and said that it was done. That would have been great if they actually did their job but they did not! I didn't realize it but they did not even give me a printout of the alignment like usual. After driving my car at first it seemed better but after a day it had gotten much much worse. Instead of my car pulling to the right now it pulls hard to the left so much so that it worries me to drive my car at all! I now have a scheduled appointment for the location in Spokane, you would think that I would be placed as priority because it was their fault their mistake and I had to wait over 2 weeks to get it fixed!! This is by far the worst Les Schwab experience I have ever had and I will be speaking with the manager at the Spokane location. Oh my goodness where do I begin?!? This morning I got in my car to realize I had a tire that completely flat. I called up Les Schwab and spoke with Allen and in no time flat he was at our house, he took of the flat time and was headed back to the shop for repairs. He explained he would call if the tire needed something more than a repair. Next thing I know he is back with my repaired tire put it all back together and we were on our way. Very Disappointed with this store. Walked in at 12:50 to have my snow tires changed over and was told that they are not taking any more cars today. There was not one customer in the building and very few cars outside. I have never been turned away at any another Les Schwab in my life. I was talking to someone at the Napa store and was told that this Les Schwab is no longer privately owned and is now a corporately owned and closes there doors right at 5:00. I guess it's all about saving a buck instead of taking care of their customers. read more

I have patronized the Deer Park Les Schwab for nearly 20 years. The manager Nathan is fantastic and I nearly always get excellent service. Yesterday I took a vehicle in for tire change and learned that the pricing increased 133% in a single week, increasing from $15 to $35 per tire. That made my 5 wheel change over $189 including tax instead of $81. So after many years of good service, I'm afraid I must say goodbye to this store and this company. I was told this was the "new" corporate-wide pricing which will be charged by all stores. Walmart and many others are still $16-$20 so they will get my business. My recommendation: If you continue to use this store, get a written quote on all work before committing to the service. Things may have been different had I done that because I would surely call around if told a mount and balance would be $35/tire. Perfection was $19.95/tire and that included them knowing I had not bought the tires there. Prices for many tires on Amazon, Tires By Web, etc. are far better and can make up the difference in some mounting cost. read more

I have used les Schwab across Wa and Idaho for years always with great success. I made the mistake of having the dealer do an alignment on my car because of a great special they were running. They told me that the rear end couldnt be aligned because of a stuck set screw they couldnt adjust. I took the car into les Schwab along with another vehicle and had both checked for alignment. They had both vehicles done in an hr and repaired the messed up alignment the dealer had done. The cost of both cars was only a tad more than the dealers special for one car. Just bought a 4 wheel drive for winter driving....haven't had the thing more than a week. Noticed a slow leak in a tire and the brakes seem to chatter a bit. Called on Monday to make an appt.....Thursday at 9 am it is. With snow coming I wanted to make sure that I was going to be safe traveling in the wee hours of the morning when I go to work. The store was busy of course but having the appt I was told they would get right on it. 1 1/2 hours later my rig hadn't even been touched.....I was told they were busy. I'm sorry but that is why I made the appt! Had to ask them to just fix the tire so I could leave. And then I was told I need to do a better job at air checking my tires.....r you guys for real? Brought my Jeep in for an alignment. They told me it could not be aligned because of a bad lower ball joint. A few days before I had my entire front end apart replacing the differential. Ball joint was not bad. After leaving les Schwab I took it to my regular shop. Confirmed no bad ball joint and got my alignment done no problem. I was left very disgusted with their dishonesty, and the insane price they were asking to put in a 15 dollar ball joint. When I came in to pick it up nobody offered to show me that it was bad. They didn't say a word to me and acted as if I had caught them red-handed. The boot was not torn and had smooth movement side to to, zero play. read more

I set an appointment with Leschawb in Deer Park to have the rack and pinion replaced and both front axles replaced. After dropping it off I got a call saying one of the front hubs was "loose". It had been replaced two weeks before. The guy said it was bad, so I told him to replace it. In just over 4 hours Leschawb called saying my car was ready. Since having my car into Leschawb not even a month ago there have been SEVERAL problems that I did Not have before they got ahold of it. Antifreeze leak they said was bad water pump. It wasn't the water pump but a cracked plastic bypass elbow that was leaking. The oil pressure sensor was also cracked and I had to replace that. The ABS light is on all the time. The hub they replaced was supposed to fix that. It didn't, so over $300.00 in additional costs for nothing. The car leaks brake fluid that we're trying to track down the reason now, and the brake light stays on all the time. As well as a fuel smell inside the car. I emphasize that the car had none of these issues before. It's very interesting to me that ALL these problems have occured within the past month. Recently had a flat tire in loon lake , and because I normally have 15 semis and more than 20 trailer sets outfitted with Les Schwab rubber, I thought call the pros at Deer Park. Well that did not go so well, see they are not a corporate store and they do not follow the same guide lines as the corporate run stores, The call out tech never came out the assistant manager called and said he could not get ahold of the tech. My wife and I waited from 7pm to 10 pm to get the tire changed. A tech from north Division arrived was very sorry and changed the tire. I told him it was not he that should be sorry. I have not heard from Deer park with a reason why the after hours tech was a no show or why the assistant manager could not change a tire. Just wondering why if you carry the most respected name for tires and car and truck repair in the northwest would you let the shop in Deer Park run it any way they seem fit. Last day to get snow tires changed and woke up 2 hours before they opened and waited at the door and was the first person there! Got checked in and didn't get my car in first in fact it was checked in 30 minutes later I was promised an hour for total wait time. I then ask one of the employees " why other people were getting their tires changed before me."Then the employee of " deer park les schwab " replied back - " well we technically aren't open " in a rude snippity way and then ignored my question and walked away. And to take note I am paying customer none the less and deserve to be treated with respect especially if I am paying well over 700$.. This Les Schwab is the absolute worst Les Schwab I have ever been to! I took in my SUV because there was a grinding noise when switching into 4-wheel drive. To make a long story short, I ended up paying $600 and the problem was not fixed. All I got was excuses and explanations that were absurd. I did NOT get reimbursed. Several months later I needed to buy a new set of non-studded tires for the spring/summer/fall seasons for the same SUV. Rather than drive at least 25 miles to another tire center I decided to return to this same Les Schwab. After deciding on a new set of tires I was told that they would call me when the tires came into the store in a couple of days. Ten days later I had not been contacted so I decided to not even bother and went to a competitor and Les Schwab lost a $750 sale. I have used many Les Schwab tire centers in my 54 years and every one provided excellent service and did excellent work EXCEPT THIS ONE! I haven't lost faith in Les Schwab, but I will never go to this location again. read more

Between my business and personal fleet of vehicles, I have spent over $2000.00 with Les Schwab in the past couple of years. My companion recently had a flat tire on her car. This particular set of tires cost us $700.00 brand new from Les Schwab. There was only 17,000 miles on the 65,000 mile rated tires, when the flat occurred. When she brought her car to the Deer Park Les Schwab, she was told the tire was beyond repair and that she would need a new tire. The young man at the counter charged her for a prorated new tire with only 17,000 miles on the old one. it is clearly a manufactures defect. I was following her on I-90 when the flat occurred. I did not see her hit anything and she pulled over immediately after the tire popped. The tire was still mostly full of air when I switched it out with the spare. There wasn't even an object sticking out of the air leak location, which leads me to believe this happened from rolling over some sort of rock or road debris. She was not shown the unrepairable tire. I feel that should be a standard process for a prorated warranty claim. And when she went back the next day per my request, the old tire was no where to be found. The manager also discovered that the young man at the counter also over charged her for the new tire. Long story short. I feel like she was taken advantage of and the flat tire should of been a free warranty replacement. I am glad she is driving our child around with a safer new tire, if in fact, it was unrepairable. However, Deer Park Les Schwab needs to spend a little more time with their customers explaining the warranty process and show the customer the damage if it is unrepairable. I do have 2 more vehicles that need new rubber. I think I will go the out of my way to spend my money where people care. Manager Cory, you did a good job. But, your team needs to act the same way when you are not there. read more
