Stopped at this location because I got an alert that one of my tires was low, again. The employees were very nice and professional, they found the leaky tire quickly, made sure to give me the information and told me how much it would cost to repair it. I like that, up front and no surprises. Was in and out of there in less than an hour, even if I had to wait a while they have a seating area with a tv, a couple of vending machines and clean restrooms. I called this morning, and didn't have an appointment, but they were able to get me in for a tire rotation and brake inspection (because I couldn't remember the last time I had new brakes). They were done within an hour- which I thought was pretty good considering I didn't have an appointment. The tech, Darien, was very helpful and courteous, he looked up and told me the exact dates I've had previous services, he answered all my questions and emailed me a safety status report summary on the current state of inspection so I can plan ahead. Well they cross threaded one of my lug nut and wheel studs on my HD Dodge. Being they the only ones who touched my wheels and tires, but it's somehow my problem now. Went in for simple rotate and nail removal, they didn't finger start it and ran the gun til the top two threads are toast. ‍ . Probably won't be buying my next set of tires from them. read more

What is NOT to love about Les Schwab?! They do basic car and tire maintenance checks, they can replace faulty batteries, and they will fix flats for free... unless you're like me and are a magnet for running over unfixable things. Like razor blades and nail gun strips. Don't ask. These folks are professional, nice, and will get you on your way as quick as possible. Great selection of tires for when you need to buy a new set too. Haha Biggest improvement: they now let you make appointments online! That means you show up and get pushed to the front of the line at your selected time. If appointments don't work for you, or are not available, you can still call around to see which shop has the shortest wait time. read more

Brought in my vehicle for an alignment. The wheel was slightly cambered in, and the employee told me to fix later. And they would do another alignment for free since I already had paid. Took my car from my mechanic to les schwab for a front end alignment. my a.s.e. Certified master tech, mechanic told me that everything in the front end was tight and all I needed was an alignment. The profiteers at les schwab told me that the pitman arm was shot and had a quarter of a turn of slop. I took the car straight back to my mech and asked him to inspect it again. He crawled right under and had me move the steering wheel while he looked for slop, (engine running), there was none. the manager as les schwab in Edgewood had no apology and said that his techs must need glasses and hung up. I went in with a vibration, and as my commute is over 1000 miles I was concerned. I figured an out of balance wheel. I asked for a rotate and balance, which they did and charged me for. The guy at the counter said the tires were severely cupped and feathered and quoted me over 1000 for a new set. I decided to make my drive, and check tire prices on the other end. I went to a local shop here in Wyoming, and was told the tires were out of balance, but otherwise fine. They balanced them (for half the price) and problem solved. There were way too many weights on the wheels when the guy took them off. The people at les Schwab are scammers. Take your car anywhere else. I will be contacting the state attornies General when I get home. What a shame! Les Schwab used to be pretty good. read more

Here's what happened to me a couple Saturdays ago I blew out a tire right in front of Les Schwab. As I pulled into Les Schwab the manager was locking up the door I asked him about fixing my tire he said no come back Monday morning at 8. The car that I have is a Kia does not come with spare tires but I carry a tire just in case this happens all he would have to do is switch out the tire. For a company who runs commercial bragging about how well they help the customer after hours I felt this would take him a minute or two. When he was standing there with his employee his employee locked his keys in the car is employed with a friend and the manager worked on their car while I called up Uber and got a ride home very disappointed Les Schwab never go back read more

I went in to purchase tire chains (Yes winter is coming and besides we will be making a trip up to the Canadian Mountains). Not only did they have the chains at a competitive price - they took me out and put it on the car so I could see how it was done. If that was not enough service - they checked my tires for air - found one almost flat - found and fixed a nail hole AND only charged me for the tire chains. I really wanted to give this place a zero, however there were a-couple employees that were very nice and helpful. As much as I would like to post names and give credits, I know that several did not use their real name on the tag. I came in to simply purchase a set of new tires. And as most people are now a-days, my finances are very tight. Especially being a single mom with 3 kids. One of the young guys there even tried very hard to find some newer retreads for me. No luck. But I really appreciated the try. After selecting the tires, the wait was relatively painless. However I needed to head up to Redmond immediately after the tires were completed. Leaving the place, my tire sensor fault light came on. I have only seen this happen in the winter when it's very cold outside. And only briefly. Never just out of the blue like this. And mind you, it wasn't cold at all, was about 60degrees out. It flickered off once or twice then stayed on for the remainder of the drive. Upon leaving Redmond it came back on and never turned off. I called Les Schwab to tell them something was up, and I needed to bring it back. But it would be a day or so. Which I did. When I brought it in, I spoke to a young man and explained what happened. Telling him how the sensor came on almost immediately after leaving the shop.(and by immediately I mean within 15 minutes.) He didn't say anything, but took my car back and said he would check it out. About an hour later he came back telling me that the "tire" sensors on my wheels were bad, and just "happened" to go bad at the exact same time they replaced my tires..... hmmm. And that they would be very happy to replace those darn things for me to the tune of something like $150, or more I believe.. um come again? So you are telling me, that my TIRE fault sensors just HAPPENED to go bad on the exact same day AND same time that you replaced my tires?(the same sensors that can be bumped and go OFF when that same tire you replaced, gets low on pressure?)AND you want me to swallow this bulls**t and pay you to fix it because.....? Oh yeah, because you are standing there smirking at me like I'm stupid...lol. Ok so maybe I don't know a lot about cars. But I can change my own oil, I can replace my own damn tires, battery, all fluids filters ect....and don't mind getting my hands dirty. But I'll tell you what. I wasn't rude, I politely said I didn't feel it was my responsibility. I felt it could have happened there.it seemed too coincidental.And this guy was just plain rude. So I asked if I could take it to another les schwab and he said yes, so I no longer go there. I don't believe the manager is really fully equipped either. (Zak)He was very uncomfortable and I tried to talk to him about what was going on and he basically deferred to his employee. You know. If it were an extremely expensive item. Or something that was time consuming to fix. I would have understood. But it probably would have cost them minimal. (Time and expense.) I don't think the customer is always right. Les Schwab is the the very best. In all categories a business can be judged they deserve five stars. I had a 97 Honda CR-V and the control arm had been replaced by Les Schwab in Edgewood early in my ownership of the vehicle as part of preventive maintenance. Some time had passed and the same control arm broke I had completely forgotten it's replacement. I had the vehicle towed to Les Schwab and the tech looked at our vehicle and something clicked in his mind. He checked his computer records and informed me that the repair would be done at no charge. He remembered my vehicle and my wife and I as customers. That is rare and worthy. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME business. Everything done exactly as it should be. All service industries should try to be as good. I am EXTREMELY hard to please and they do so over and over. read more

I can't put my finger on it. When you're the first one there when a business opens its doors and you leave 2 hours later for a tire rotation and oil change. Even if they checked the brakes still should not take 2 flipping hours. It's a shame that the same company in Puyallup stopped doing oil changes.. I need to find me a better place close here in Puyallup for future service that takes appointments and doesn't cost an arm and a leg... Took my 2013 SVT Raptor in to get checked on 6/4/2018 I told them rear end was shaking. Devon checked it out said it was a bent rear left axle rod. We order parts I pay for it all labor plus 2 day delivery. Thursday the 7th they start working on my truck to find out the right rear axle rod is bent as well. Devin only did half his job on Monday and didn't check both sides. Chris Devon's manager ordered the right rear axle again 2 day delivery plus labor so now almost 1400 dollars wasted. Monday the 11th comes by they call me to let me know the axle rods won't fit both were wrong sizes they ordered. Piss poor customer service, poorly trained management and employees. 3 huge mistakes in 1 week by employees and still don't have correct parts and truck is still not fixed. Purchased new rims and tires for my truck. Could not have gone smoother. Reasonable price and the service was great. Have used them for all our tire and brake needs and will continue to do so. Had another occasion to use Les Schwab. Was planning on replacing all the tires on my car. Colby inspected then and showed me just the fronts required replacement saving me half of what I expected to pay. The job was done in under an hour and was on my way. They could have easily replaced all the tires but were honest about what actually needed to be done. It's nice to find a tire store you can trust. read more

Beware Les Schwab in Edgewood, WA! Dropped off my vehicle for tire rotation and alignment and within 10 minutes I received a call from someone named Alex telling me he "can't legally" use the tires on the front due to wear and the rear tires were "old" and needed to be replaced and he (conveniently) had some quotes for me. Understand, the front tires did have some wear but were nowhere near having to be replaced, nor were the rear tires in need of replacement. They were trying to con me into buying a whole set of new tires that I didn't need. I mentally pictured some poor old widow being ripped off by these people, not knowing better. I was very impressed with the assistant manager, Colby, for his expertise regarding shock absorbers for my Ford F-350 dually. Having done my homework on what was required, I got quotes from a few shops, ALL of which made mistakes on the shocks recommended for my model of truck. He gave me several choices, all correct. The work from quote to completion took less than 2 hours. (Incredible really since the proper shocks were not even in stock!) I'll be a customer for a very long time. read more

I went to the Les Schwab in Edgewood on 9-8-14 to get a front end alignment. I arrived at 3 pm. There was only one car in the parking lot and only 1 car being serviced on the rack . There were 3 employees who were gathered at that car. It was not busy. And -Les Schwab does not take appointments. I was told that I would either come back tomorrow or leave the car overnight because they didn't have enough time to do the job. Les Schwab closes at 6. They had 3 hours to do the job & no business. This is strange considering it only takes an hour and a half to do the job. I left that day feeling that.Les Schwab didn't want my business or even care. read more

So I'm pretty frustrated.. I went in to get my tires replaced a few months ago with les Schwab and had a bent rim. I even asked if it needed to be replaced and they said all they needed to do was bend it back out and supposedly they did. Now I have a brand new tire that's blown out on the same rim that was "fixed" and THANKFULLY it happened in front of the office I work and not on the road with my baby in the car!!! It even made a loud popping noise and all of this happened with my car in park with me inside of my office!! I feel like I was driving a ticking time bomb!! I tried putting air back in the tire but the air was coming right out at the rim... Now I'm stranded at work because Les Schwab is closed on Sunday's which is a "whatever" at this point. Instead of leaving a review I was going to leave a message with them since they are closed but their voicemail box is full. I gave 3 stars because this review is pretty one sided at this point and they have not been given the chance to resolve the situation yet. I will update this review once I see them tomorrow. I will have to leave my car on a jack tonight at my office and figure out how to get to work tomorrow, let alone getting the rim and tire to Les Schwab... Awesome... They better make this right and I hope I leave Les Schwab tomorrow as a fully satisfied customer... ***update 7/10/17**** So I actually feel like a HUGE jerk because the tire that had a bent rim was not the one that blew yesterday. What is concerning is that the tire that blew was "faulty." Still feel like I might be driving a ticking time bomb if any of my other 3 tires are "faulty," but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get there. I am happy with the service that was provided. My tire was covered under warranty, so it was a free replacement. I may be going back just to have them check my other tires, but I didn't have time for it today due to missing work already.
