I had never been to Les Schwab before, but my tire pressure light came on (front passenger tire had gotten down to 23psi, supposed to be at 35), so I took my car to Les Schwab during my lunch break at work, and they found I had ran over a screw that got stuck in the tire. Fixed it for free! Took about an hour, as they were extremely busy during lunch hour, but I didn't mind. Sat and read my book while they fixed my car for free; can't complain! :) read more

What didn't go well was that when I went to drive my RV away, they had left a lift/jack up in the middle of the back axle. I couldn't go forward or back. Les Schwab in North City (Shoreline / North Seattle) is amazing. Like other locations I've visited in Oregon (The Dalles, Woodburn & Klamath Falls) and Washington - the people at the front counter are professional and prompt in answering questions and guiding my decision-making process about whether to repair or replace a damaged tire or complete set. We've had very good experiences with them. Whether it's dealing with an urgent repair situation, routine maintenance, or long-term replacements the Les Schwab folks have been amazing. The repairmen are a 10 out of 10. One time I had a fast leak at 5:50pm, drove up to the parking lot - talked with the receptionist - and although I offered to have them just fill some air as a stop-gap measure and drop off the car in the morning, they said, "No way! We'll do it now!" Within 7 minutes the truck tire repair was completed and they handed me my keys. It was amazing. Another time I had blown out two tires on the passenger side when I swerved to avoid metal shards in the middle of a freeway off-ramp in Woodburn, Oregon. I called USAA for a tow to the nearest tire store - which luckily was Les Schwab. Again, we arrived about 5-10 minutes before closing, but they stayed and put a fresh set of four tires onto the car so I could continue my 4 1/2 hour drive back home that evening to see my wife and kids without any further delay. I was driving up to Crater Lake and noticed one of my tires was really low. I filled it up and drove back down to Klamath Falls and came here since I wasn't sure whether I had a leak but didn't want to get stuck up at the lake. This Les Schwab has it going! When I walked in there were 6 people behind the counter working with customers. That's customer service! I had dropped in to get a flat tire fixed. Super nice young lady behind the counter, Kera I think her name was told us it would be several hours before they could check. I explained we were traveling and far from home, she took it upon herself to get us in right away and it turns out it wasn't my brakes, I had a front bearing go out! I cannot recommend Les Schawb highly enough. My immediate family and relatives have been going to these centers for as long as I can remember and never once have I heard a complaint about their performance. I know that some of their services are a little more pricey than other shops but the good old fashioned customer satisfaction is where you find true value in this place. There are little things like free and fresh popcorn to help with your wait and free tire rotations and pressure checks and 'siping' (which you really must do) just to give you peace of mind. And then there are big things such as the policy to send out a workman in a truck to help damsels in distress by fixing their flats or putting on a spare wherever they may be stranded, though I don't know if they do this anymore. But then there are the things which make me and everyone else in my family lifelong Les Schwab customers....... I came into this shop recently with four very worn out tires. I had the goal of rotating the worst one out for my spare, at least until the fall when I can actually justify spending the money on a new set and actually need the new treads. My plan was solid and the Les Schwab guys thought so as well but when I came back an hour later I found out that another plan had been executed. The nice folks at Les Schwab ran around and compared my wheels to the used ones they had in the back and they found one of the exact make and model but which was in better condition than the one I was looking to take off. They decided to just up and replace my old tire, so that I would not have to lose my spare. This 'new' tire is about the same condition as my other tires and thus I will probably make it to the rainy season without any hiccups. I will always trust Les Schwab with decisions regarding my tires, because they know their stuff and they know that keeping the customer happy and safe will keep that customer their customer. The fact that they went out of their way to find me a comparable tire in their vast inventory so that I would not have to run the risk of not having a good spare on hand is just outstanding. and did I mention the free popcorn? read more

I bought the truck with prior Les Schwab purchased tires. I walk in w paperwork and The young girl Kara at this location immediately tells me Original Tire Warranty Does Not Transfer To Any New Owners... 17$ per tire to balance ... WTF !! So I opt for the free flat repair... then read the back of the warranty paper and it states Original Tire Warranty stays with life of vehicle... I go back in and talk to a man Derek and he tells me what is on the back of the warranty paper.. so I get the tires balanced for free as stated and Honored By Derek. read more

Was a long time customer until I went in to get the tires rotated and was told the tie rod ends are worn out and needs to be replaced. I question their diagnosis on my 2017 4x4 vehicle with less than 50k miles. Was told I would feel some shimi and vibrations. I felt the vibration after they rotated the tires. I then noticed brand new weights on the front wheels. Took it back and another person told me the front tires were unbalanced and they rebalanced them. After about 5k miles, I then noticed excessive uneven wear on one of the front tires. Took the vehicle to another tire shop and they said i just need a wheel alignment and everything else are within specs. read more

I have anxiety. I've gotten over driving anxiety but going to new places or places I haven't been in awhile really get me sweating, shaking, and thinking about everything that could possibly go wrong. I realize that's all kind of irrelevant, but I wanted to let anyone else that deals with anxiety know that Les Schwab is your place. They were really knowledgeable and happily worked with my budget. There was a wait, but that's to be expected. While you're waiting they have popcorn, water, coffee, and a soda machine. There's a TV, lots of seating, and every member of staff is easy going, friendly, and professional. I'm sorry I can't remember names, but when I paid, the man informed me to come in any time if I hear any noises in my car to get it checked out, no problem- and that they were there to help. It really put me at ease and I genuinely appreciate it- they will be seeing me again. Previously I left a 5 star review. My opinion has since changed. I recently sold my car and had a set of snow tires that were brand new, only 2k miles on them. I approached them to see if they would buy them back. I was offered $400 by one of the managers but I would have to come back in October as they would not buy them in the summer. I paid $1200 for the tires but since my tire size was not common $400 was the best they could do. I understand that but when I came back they said they would only give $300. They said They could give me $400 if I could remember the manager that told me $400. I could not remember the name as the was 3 months earlier so I only received $300. Drove through Klamath Falls at the end of a month-long vacation trip with my 2001 F350 truck pulling a 27' travel trailer. Just out of K-falls when I noticed a little smoke coming from the rear tire on my truck. Back to K-falls to get it fixed at Les Schwab. Staff at LS was very courteous and allowed me to park the trailer and take a look at the truck. Diagnosed a blown axle seal. Estimated about $120 to replace them both. After taking the hubs off, found the emergency brake pads contaminated with differential fluid. Had all of the parts in stock. Replaced seals and brake pads, cleaned all of the oil and had us back on the road in three hours for about $250. This was on a Friday afternoon and they were seriously backed up with customers. Did I mention that it was also the Friday before opening day of elk season? Great job, Les Schwab! read more

Les Schwab took complete ownership of the problem, without argument or incident. They have made sure their mistake is completely taken care of at no cost to us. They were so kind in the process. If you had 10 stars these guys would have earned them all. Went in for the first tire rotation on my new Jeep Wrangler and they got to it in the time they had estimated but there was on issue. The Portland dealer had not verified that the lug lock key was in the vehicle when sold. Hell, I didn't even know I had locking lugs, so I certainly had never looked for the key. The service person helped unload the entire fully-loaded back to search and we discovered no key. Talked to a not very helpful dealer on phone and after a few hours they suggested that I go back to Les Schwab have them " break off" the locking lugs and replace them. I was shocked at this approach on my new jeep. They insisted LS were great at this. Talked to my trusted pals at Les Schwab and they insisted the dealer was right. Know reassured, I got right in, they did the work perfectly, gave me a bill so the dealer could reimburse me and sent me on my very happy way!! Thanks again guys!! You're awesome!! read more

One of les schwab told me I have to wait 4 hrs when I checked it out after 4 hrs they told me I have few cars ahead of me and the people behind me when I came in this morning was paid and left before me. I would not recommend this shop to you if you have kids and work. You will end up staying all day here. read more

On three different occasions Les Schwab centers did sub par work out of the 5 times either I or my family has been there. My girlfriend had a tire go flat and went in for a repair, first they charged an extra 30% for a low quality tire that went bald after 20k., then they took advantage of her being stressed out and said the brakes were in bad condition. She had them replaced at an 7 times the cost of the parts. She brought home the old parts, the rotors had no defects at all and the pads still had half life. Prior to taking a cross country trip, my grandparents had the brakes on their RV checked and Les Schwab reported no problems except for replacing one brake element. 20 Miles down the road, the magnet they replaced seized on and caused the tire to lock and blow. After having that replaced at a non les schwab store, they discovered that their main harness had been severly cracked and would have caused them to lose their brakes on a 38 ft trailer. Finally, I went their when I first moved to the west coast without knowing better for a free brake check on a friends vehicle, when I came to pick up the truck, they had done an alignment, replaced the rear brakes and over stretched the rear gas shock because they didn't use the right lift point. All this despite I never authorized any work beyond a free check. read more
