if i could leave no stars i would. worst management ever. trying to sell people on tires and sensors that they don't need. because of this location i will be taking my business for my 5 cars to americas tire which is way more professional and they handle everything professionally. also the manager needs to wear boots in the shop not tennis shoes. laughing and mocking customers from the shop where they can see you isn't the brightest thing to do. terrible management! they will be losing a long time customer and my money will go to the competition. read more

12.6.24 and 12.7.24 That's right two days on car work. On 12.6 brought the car in for an oil change and tire rotation. They did a wonderful job. I cannot say enough good things about this location. 12.7 I had to come back in as the night before I hit a median. I did not have an appointment and went in at 8am. I have been using this location for years and have always been pleased with the service. However, my recent brake job has been a disaster. on Wednesday I took my 2011 Lexus in to address worn brake pads. I have 77,000 miles. They had previously diagnosed the issue and scheduled me for a complete rear brake job. Calipers, rotors and pads. I arrived for my appointment on 11/05. They couldn't find the parts they had supposedly ordered so did an express order. I couldn't get them on the phone to check on the job ( their phones have been out order all week), so I went in at 3:30 And picked up the car. On 11/6 I left on a trip to Aptos, Ca. After two hours driving, I suddenly got brake warnings, a loud beeping and instructions to stop the car, and call the dealer for repairs. The brakes also failed for a moment. I continued to my destination with constant warning lights. On 11/7 at 8am I was at Aptos Tire and Auto Repair. They checked the brakes and found the sensors and the calipers had not been installed properly. Apparently the line had not been bled properly and the caliper hardware had come apart. Bottom line. I had to leave the car, get a rental and wait until parts could be acquired, hopefully by Monday 11/10. I do not know what it will cost, but Les Schwab will be getting at bill, at a minimum. What is price of putting our lives in danger? We will see. Note: I still cannot get them on the phone. Brought the truck in for tires and shocks. Spent over $2,000. And they couldn't even clean the black shit off the rims! $2,000. And you can't wipe the rims?? Before the truck I brought my car for tires, shocks, and struts. YEAH!! Pricy!! Came home after that one and all the rims had some kind of greasy crap that I couldn't get off so I had to bring it back and have them remove whatever it was!! REALLY LES SCHWAB!! If I could leave 10 Stars I would! I came in to get tire rotation and oil change after my plans got canceled to fly to Vegas. Instead I decided to drive. So I rushed in to make sure I would have a safe trip. I talked to Sergio and let him know what my plans were to Drive to Vegas. He told me they didn't have my oil filter available. And after looking at my vehicle let me know I needed NEW TIRES there was No way I would make it to Vegas in these tires! I was like No Way! But after he had me take a look I didn't realize 5yrs had passed since I got new tires. Sergio went above and beyond for me to make my trip happen. He had my Oil filter delivered ASAP and got me a New set of tires! All of this done when it was getting close to closing time. I'm A Very Last Minute person lol. I have been to Les schwab for minor things like a tire patch or putting air in a low tire. They offer those services for free which is awesome. However, my most recent visit, I needed all 4 tires replaced. I scheduled on the website and I was able to schedule a next day appointment at 10 am. The employee greeting me was super friendly and informative. He said the service took 2.5 hours, which I didn't think was bad as I needed all new tires and an alignment. I dropped my car off, I went home and was waiting for a call. I received the call just 45 minutes after I dropped my car off so I hurried to the shop. When I got there, I was informed that the person that called me didn't know I also wanted an alignment along with new tires. So I had to wait another hour at the shop for an alignment. That was inconvenient. Wish they would improve the communication among employees. read more

We where on our way to our sons wedding in Morrow bay when our tire pressure light came on and showed we had a very low tire. We just buy chance we got off the free way at the wright exit to lead us to this Less Schwab. We where first told it would be a hour to get the tire fixed. I told Rocky where we where headed he was very nice but we had two customers ahead of us. We sat in our car not more than 20 minutes later our car was getting the tire fixed. On 9/12/2022, we were traveling home from Shaver Lake, CA from a 7-day camping trip. About 20 miles outside of Madera on a country 2-lane highway, my travel trailer experienced not one, but TWO flat tires at the same time. One was a blow out and one was a mild deflate/separation. I called the local Les Schwab Tire store, and Diana answered right away. I explained to her my situation. She was very positive and supportive, and assured me that LST could help. First, she verified that they had the tires in inventory, which they had 8. I then asked about getting the trailer there, and it was at that time she said they could come to me. I asked her how long that would take, and she said she would connect me with Chad, and he could answer those questions. After a brief hold I was connected with Chad, he empathized with my story, and affirmed that LST could get me back on the road. He was finishing his lunch, asked me to give him 10 minutes, and then he would load up the tires and be on the road. He broke down the costs in detail, made sure I understood all of the costs. I was good, and he said he would see me shortly. As Chad stated, within 35 minutes he was pulling up to my trailer. He worked hard, fast and diligently and had all 4 tires replaced, mounted and ready to go in 1 hour. He explained to me what he was doing through the process, and made sure I had no questions or concerns before leaving. In less than 2 hours, I was back on the road, with 4 new tires. read more

I had doubts about this place because of what I've heard from my family about high prices and not much knowledge about cars, just trying to make a high sale. So we go today to see if they can take the spare tire off my man's car (it's on the bottom of the car) and put it on to replace his bad tire. We had intentions to order him a whole new set and make payments after this next pay period so he just needed the spare to get through the week. So we drop his car off after they tell us they'll do and then they call about an hour later asking if we have a tool to take it off -_- what is that. How does a CAR TIRE place not have the right tool to take off a CAR TIRE. Really stupid reason to loose business but that's not what made me give this place a bad review. It was the fact that the man on the phone said something about checking through his car for the tool. On what planet is it ok to go searching through a clients car. Keep in mind the car we're talking about has no seat and no truck it's one big cab so it's not "oh they just went through the trunk" or "they just checked the back seat" no. They went through is car which is super unprofessional and creepy. That's not ok. So we go to pick up the car after having nothing done to it cause THE CAR TIRE PLACE DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHT TOOL, and at the very least we ask if they'd fix his brakes a little. They tell us sure they can do that. Then they say the breaks need break fluid. Ok cool, let's go. No. They say "we don't top off breaks" -_- So after about 2 hours, no service. None at all. This is a place to go to when you have a couple grand to drop on brand new tires, or brand new parts they MIGHT have. It's not a place to take your old car to be worked on and don't expect them to tell you that before you leave your car there. They won't. They'll try to make the sale. read more

Coming from Fresno to attend a class for work and my car was showing low pressure. Thankfully Les Schwab was literally around the corner so I decided to stop by before heading back home. Clearly it was busy there was about 3 customers waiting for their cars. I entered and one of the workers saw me from the window and greeted me. I stated my concerns and the guy said they were alittle busy and it would take 45 mins to 1 hour and not to worry and they will take care of me. I waited 45 mins and they said I had a small nail, patched and they didn't charge me. I'm very happy with this location. Benito and Sal were so friendly and helpful when our tire pressure warning did not turn off after air was added (too much it turns out, since tire markings were higher than vehicle recommended pressure). We were out on a month long trip with our 5th wheel and on the last weekend of our trip we found a hole in the tire. The tires were only 2 months old . I called around and Les Schwab was the only one who could help us pretty quickly. They told us to pull around to the back of the store where they had a covered slab for large vehicles. Would not recommend this location. My boyfriend took his car there to have it serviced and they told him that his warranty did not cover the parts needed. When he left he said "you guys suck ass!" The next day he called the warranty company only to be told that this location Never called the warranty and it Was covered. And to top it off they called his place of employment to try to get him in trouble for being upset read more

We were driving from Northern California to Southern California with our new travel trailer and got a flat tire on our truck. The employees were very nice, professional, and quick. They had us back on the road in about an hour and checked all tires (trailer included) and didn't charge us, even though we did NOT have Lea Schwab tires. And we got free popcorn, too! Camden is our hero this morning! After 7 days on the road for a family trip, We apparently broke a wheel (rim) and got a flat at 3:00am we limped it into this Les Schwab. We were here in the parking lot when Camden drove in, and Camden didn't make us wait for them to open and with a smile on his face he worked quickly to get us back on the road!! He found a new wheel for our dually and checked the other tires to find we had sheered off 2 lug nut studs as well. He fixed our truck to make it safe for our family to make it the last 3 hours home! I'm a huge fan of Les Schwab for many reasons. I've found them to be helpful and honest in their work. I appreciate their professionalism and work ethic. The store offers free popcorn and super fast WiFi to keep you busy while they work. This comes in handy since wait time can be super long at times, however, I can't complain since they do free tire rotations if you buy tires from them. My only compliant is that they never have materials in stock for my car, a 2016 Honda Fit. I've needed tires and brakes on separate occasions and I've always had to wait to have them in stock. It's not that big a deal, but it has left me unable to drive for a couple of days before. I don't feel like a Fit is such an uncommon car to never have parts in stock, but who knows? read more

Came to Les Schwab to buy two new tires, good service. The second time to have a new rim on. They put a rim on but not a steel rim which was on my car before, older car. I waited for a call about a new rim to no avail. I called a place and paid for it. I was told only certain vendors they were allowed to use, what happened to a Hyundai dealer. Made an appointment for 8am, no other cars at that time. It got much later and I asked them what is wrong, they had broke a stud off my car. Not once did they ever give me an update on my vehicle, I had to ask. Finally they were done at 9:15. Drove my car to the exit and it was making a scraping sound. Bradley looked at it and fixed it. The manager Camden from the beginning was unpleasant. As long as I didn't ask questions that was fine. I guess as a senior citizen we should be quiet and not ask. I told Camden something was wrong, but why listen to a customer. It doesn't matter if I go back, because a small customers concerns and good communication doesn't matter. I came in to get a tire rotation and ended up buying windshield wipers too. They were nice enough to look up what kind I needed and did everything in a timely matter! Did I mention their waiting area is awesome?! Free popcorn, coffee and hot chocolate. Grab a seat and watch tv! Waiting at a place has never been better. Wow today I'm impressed how well they performed for me! I called before going an spoke with a Tomas . Told I needed a tire rotation. I'm handicapped so walking an sitting in one spot is very tough on my back. I got there an in a very timely manner they did the work on the car an had on my way in less than an hour! Madera Location: I used to praise this place, but recently they burned me on three of my cars. They messed up the balancing on one car and it was unstable and unsafe. I took it back so they could fix the problem, but they did not fix the issue; I had to take it to another auto shop who was able to identify and correct the problem. For my second vehicle, they stained the interior with motor oil, I did not worry because I thought they would clean or fix this, because I thought I was a valued customer. They denied staining the upholstery. The mechanic that serviced my car said to me that he did not stain the car and motor oil was already there, but this was a brand new car, no previous owners and this was the very first oil change for this vehicle. The mechanic also left trash and plastic covers in the car. Plus, the mechanic was covered in oil from his fingers to his face, he even left oil on my car keys and my invoice when he handed them to me. I reached out to the manager, Chad, but he just avoided me for over two weeks. I left several messages with them and they never called me back or they had some excuse that the manager was out for the day. I have a third vehicle that they serviced the brakes on and now there appears to be problems with the work they did. Would not recommend this location. Stay Away! Stay Safe! read more

I live in a 40' RV and was passing through Madres, OR. My rear fender well liner came loose but I couldn't fix it myself, without the proper tools. A HUGE shout out to Julian who said, "This is not what we usually do, but I'll give it a try." Not only did he repair it in no time flat, but then, when I insisted I pay for it, he said "no", just give us a shout out on Yelp. So, here I am. Friendly, respectful, and obviously competent, he talked to me like I lived in the community. So, next time I come through Madres, you're damned right, I'm stopping at Les Schwab for any tire services I need. You should, too. Their work is covered at any Les Schwab Nationwide. Before she left she went to a local tire shop to support their small business, however, they were near closing time and denied her inquiry to do a small tire repair before her trip. She then decided to go to les shwaab and they were also near closing time. But instead of turning my mom down they opened up their roll up doors and pulled her car in to do a small tire repair! On our way back from picking up 1954 Chevy Bel Air from Hayward and driving back to Reedley, the trailer got a flat...not good. I called, explained the situation and that I was located at the Pilot. I was told they'd send a tach out ASAP. Sure enough within 10 minutes Salvador showed up and went straight to work.
