Kevin completed my smog check in under 30 minutes, and while I'm not sure what the average price is, his kindness, efficiency, and professionalism were absolutely worth it! I'd say I would come again but I'm hoping now to need to anytime soon (though I will be back next time it's required!)

NEVER GO HERE I brought my 1989 Mercedes 300e here to have…read morethe alternator and timing belt replaced and the alternator they installed was faulty and overcharged the electrical system thus killing the blower motor for the ac and heat. They charged 400 dollars to "fix" the blower motor which only has one setting which is LOUD and it only blows hot air the ac no longer works. The car also has a very bad misfire below 3k rpm and barely accelerates while under 3k rpm.

Had to pull off, get a hotel room and after 5 calls to mechanics, chanced it that these guys would help. Boy did they! No fuss, happy to help, gave the kids toys and had us back on the road in 10 minutes. They didn't hesitate to help me out and wouldn't charge me!! Although Chad was pretty swamped, he managed to fit my friend's car in in about an hour and not only filled the oil and alerted her to a big leak(and gave us pointers on how to keep on top of it for the drive home to San Francisco), but also vacuumed the floor of the front seat of the car. The other place in town we called took my number and didn't call back til the next day. No big, folks are busy, but I'm not sure what we would have done if we hadn't found The Pit Stop. Thanks Chad!
