Because I was charged at the high end of the spectrum, Brooks insisted they needed to keep my car overnight knowing I was from out of town & would need to get a room for the night. An added expense. They didn't care. They didn't start my car til the next morning & when it was done, they left my car with grease stains everywhere that the mechanic's hands & bottom of their shoes touched. Kevin completed my smog check in under 30 minutes, and while I'm not sure what the average price is, his kindness, efficiency, and professionalism were absolutely worth it! Long story short, towing company recommended Bill's since they were the only ones near and open (it was around 6pm) We get to Bill's and they're so friendly. Quoted us an extremely affordable price and told us it'd be done by noon the next morning. Perfect! Doesn't stop there; since we are from out of town and have our cat with us, they personally drive us in one of their trucks to a near motel that accepts pets. We get in for the night, next morning we walk back to Bill's and the car is ready to go and it's 10am! For the naysayers and their reviews... they don't look at the world through realistic lenses and understand that "estimates" are just that, estimating until further opened and finding reality. Kurt and his guys are awesome; they totally accommodate my unusual life schedule and always make time for me. They are very friendly, very competent, and from my personal experience, very honorable.
