I've had a recurring issue with my Mustang for months, and kept mentioning it to the dealer. They were never able to fix it, but did quote me almost $1,000 for complete brake replacement. Fortunately they were booked out a month, so I came to Les Schwab within 24 hours. They showed the actual rear wheel bearing and what was causing the problem, at a quote far less than the dealer. 11/29/2025 Called Ahead inform person by the name Josh the my current situation and slow leak on a back tire and a possibly getting a new tire for it ? He told there was no issues for me to bring the vehicle in . Drop off was 11:00 a.m. roughly four hours later to pick up and was told it was never seen , couldn't be dealt with. A bad situation was made right, so this place is getting 5 stars. I was on a business trip and walked out from the hotel to the vehicle and found a flat tire. Drove in and after waiting for the tire to be reviewed, a tech approached me and started out with, "You have to replace all four tires." I said hold on, 2 tires were replaced six months previously so there's no way the one with the nail would need anything more than a repair and I knew the rest were fine. He argued with me. The supervisor walked over to us and heard what I had said about how these were new tires. He asked the tech if he had looked at the service history, and the tech said no. He then said they need to do that first, then told me they'd be back later. After about 20 minutes, I saw my car brought around to the front. I met the supervisor who apologized for the tech and explained he needs more training. The issue had been fixed for free per their warranty, and he said they put on a new tire since the last one had only lasted 6 months and the screw had gone in sideways so it couldn't be fixed. He then told me the tech hadn't even checked for the flat before he went at me to replace all four tires, and he apologized for this. He explained that the 2 older tires may need to be replaced down the road but it wasn't needed at this time. Thanked him for his help. read more

I've been a customer here for over 20 years, Les Schwab for 35+. Today is the straw that broke this camel's back. Gone are the days of friendly, run up customer service. I needed a tire stem changed for my son's first car. Came in at 9:15, I thought early, to be told their were 40 appointments ahead of me. The customer service rep blamed me for not being early enough and told me I could make an appointment, but then contradicted himself saying that it's first come first serve??? They seem understaffed and over worked. I apologized to the clerk for this and he got mad at me saying they aren't over worked. Called last minute to get my tires realigned along with a patch of a leaky tire. The bad-ish: It took awhile but this was last minute and all the staff were on point so mot really bad at all. The Great: Everything else. Yes I had to wait a bit and also had to eat food from Whole Foods which was a bit too much bourgeoises for a proletariat commoner like me but the sandwich wasn't too bad for only $54.90 since it came with chips. I had a wheel alignment for two cars. One is for an EV and another for a gas car. The appointment schedule was very quick and was not far out. The turn around time is also very accurate to what was estimated. They do charge for the wheel alignment but not for tire rotation if tires were bought with them. Overall experience was awesome! Would definitely come back to check my alignment next year. The price though is not cheap but I could be wrong too. read more

I was visiting Seattle for a few days and had a screw in one of the tires of my rental car. They tended to me right away and helped me within the hour, despite how busy they were. My low tire pressure light went on so I went to les Schwab in Redmond on East lake Sammamish. Parked on the last stall where they pressure check the times. There were three guys in the bay, one in the stall I was in, one two stalls down and another helping. They all saw me because we had eye contact. I'm a long time Les Schwab costumer and usually impressed with my Les Schwab experience. I noticed one of the tires on 4 wheel drive van had gone wonky with tread separation. They were 70k tires with less than 30k miles. My initial visit went well with a fellow who told me he would try to find a matching tire but was doubtful he could due to the age of the tires. He was sympathetic about needing to buy 3 new tires and told me he could definitely work something reasonable out since the tires had so little wear. Unfortunately it was the end of the day and he suggested coming back in the next day. I didn't make it back in till Saturday and had such a different experience. The person who looked at the tire just said they would cover the bad tire under the warranty but I'd have to pay full price for the other three. when I shared I'd been told earli in the week that I could get a discount for how little wear was on the tire he just said the tires are old and I needed new tires anyway. When he rang up the estimate he did take $25 off the other three tires - pretty much the same discount that was already running if you bought 4 new tires. I seldom drive that vehicle and am pretty annoyed about being out $375 because Les Schwab sold me a defective tire. I wouldn't have been replacing those tires for another few years. I decided to do the hour walk to pick up the van and made sure to call to confirm when it would be done. I called at 3:30 and was assured it would be finished at 5:30. When i got there to pick it up they said it would be another 45 minutes! i Understand things get busy but I should have gotten a more accurate estimate when calling just 2 hours before. All and all a disappointing experience - the defective Les Schwab 70k tire that didn't even last 30k left me out $375 And a frustrating afternoon dealing with the situation. read more

I've been coming to this Les Schwab for years. This will be my last time. I had an appointment for 12:30 for new tires. I called ahead to ensure how long I was going to wait and was told 2:30 at the latest. Now I still sit here, it is now evening multiple hours after the eta and they are still not done. Each time I check with the desk I get the same runaround .. just another 30 minutes I was told over and I over. Finally they admit to me at 5pm that one of the junior techs is struggling with alignment of my steering wheel and no real eta Im sight. 5 hours waiting at this point and I sit here worrying now they damaged my truck. Really nice folks, but the scheduling is trash. Asked to come in at noon to get wheel diagnosed. waited almost 2.5 hrs just to find out they had started taking a look less than 30 minutes prior. Was told "it just depends who was ahead of you". That's not how scheduling should work... how long have you been in business that you still don't have this down? Why not ask the customer come in at the right time? Some wait time is fine, but making someone come in 2 hours prior, wtf?? I thought doctor offices were bad, but this takes the cake. They are well trained and you can see they operate by strict procedures. They greeted me promptly and were able to answer my questions in a professional manner. They don't seem to focus too much on quickly moving their customers in and out quickly. Speed doesn't seem to be much of a priority. I guess better this way than rushing through a job and cutting corners. Took me two hours to get four tires and a new battery installed. I had to wait so the time dragged. Nobody seemed to have a lot of hustle. Still, they were true to their time estimate so can't fault the . Unlike most tire shop they don't sell brand name tires. They have oddball names and I didn't like that part. They looked good so I went ahead. Prices seem high for an unfamiliar brand that nobody has heard of. I've been a customer of this store for years. The Les Schwab career progression program continuously sees the #2 at this store move on to get their own store to manage. The managers, including the latest, have all been awesome! I don't trust anyone to work on my pickup, except these people. Always done right. At one point the past manager drove to Kirkland and back just because a part they had 'didn't look right' and they wouldn't put it on my pickup. Sure they might cost a few sheckles more than another place for tires, but the excellent service and attention to detail are 2nd to none. We start our story with an incomplete alignment -- just toe-in on the front wheels, nothing on the rear, instead of the full alignment we'd asked for -- that took three hours instead of the promised 60-90 minutes. How do they manage to take so long, to do so little? The only thing they did right, after we complained about the poor service, was to promise to redo the alignment under warranty *and* refund the entire cost of the initial service. We did get the refund, so there's that. But everything else is a sh*tshow. On the redo, the alignment report we got had (at least) three major issues with it: 1) the "before" values on the measurements didn't match, nor were even remotely close, to the "after" values on the previous alignment done just days ago; 2) only the "after" values for toe-in were actually different from their "before" values; the new "before" values for the camber and caster were now magically in spec, and "before" and "after" were identical on those measurements; and 3) the odometer reading on today's report was about 10K higher than our car's actual odo reading. I suspect that they either completely falsified the report, or more likely took a report from another car of the same make/model they'd had in at some point and swapped our customer info in (VIN and plate #). Either way, it's pretty clear they didn't give us a report for our own car. Icing on the cake: they gave us the old "your tire tread is worn out, all at 2/32nds or less" song and dance, when I know for a fact all four tires have between 4/32nds and 5/32nds left. Measured them with my digital calipers before we took the car in. They tried to tell us that wear on the inside shoulder of the tires was excessive, but a) even if it were excessive, that's not where you measure the tread depth, and b) there might be a bit of unusual wear there, not inconsistent with a car that needs an alignment, but nothing near enough to justify having to replace the tires right now, as they wanted us to do. Lesson learned: don't get a store that has a vested interest in you buying new tires to perform a wheel alignment on your car. And for sure, we are never ever going back to that particular store. read more

I learned about a brand new line of Toyo's that had only been on the market a few months. Angela researched them and was able to track down one of the only sets available, and have them shipped. Once they arrived, we had an appointment set, but I was too excited to wait till Thursday, so showed up first thing Wednesday. Even though Matt was short staffed, he not only made room for me, but he spent time researching a fluke TPMS problem I've been having. Scheduled appointments mean nothing to the Front Desk Clerk or the business - over 1.5 hours to try and obtain a brake quote (yes we had an appt and we're 10 min late. 90 minutes from arrival time and only excuses and anger from a flustered front clerk. Same guy on personal calls while four of us customers listened to his personal conversations while the phones ring off the hook for over 13 minutes at 4:30pn. I noticed significant reduction in air pressure for one of the tires. It was quick to get an appointment at Les Schwab. They checked and fixed the issue and also checked other tires and provided future recommended services. It was a great experience. Will definetely recommend. read more

Common theme in these reviews is "appointments mean nothing" to this business place. Per their website and propoganda found on their walls, the founder said "Our business is earning your trust." In my opinion that starts with treating your customers honestly, following through with what you commit to and doing good work. Its not hard. Please let me give negative stars. I waited over 90 minutes past my appointment time with zero action. A simple alignment, maybe a 45 minute job. They told me they would take it right in and the car was moved within 15 mins. I had asked if they could get started on-time as I needed them to commit to their appointment because of my time constraints. The guy pointed over his shoulder and said that bay should be opening up. All they did was hide my car behind a trailer out back so I would think they were doing something. The work bay the person pointed to isn't even equipped for alignment work. A lie and he should know alignment work is on the back side. Zero communication that they were running late. Over 90 minutes later, I collected my keys and left WITHOUT work being done. I don't care about excuses, nothing matter when you knowingly are running late and don't say a word. Now, I get the joy of finding another place to do the work, maybe one that actually cares to fulfill agreements they make with their customers. This place doesn't deserve to be in business, they didn't earn that right with me, nor the many customers that have provided negative reviews before me. There were several other customers in the waiting area frustrated with time being wasted, waiting past what they were told. Customers shouldn't endure this sort of treatment. Go elsewhere, stay away. I think after several years of frustration with them I am finally done. I have taken every vehicle I've owned at some point to these guys. I'm tired of feeling like I am not a valued customer. Most recently I needed my brakes bled. I called and made an appointment for 3:30p. Was told by the tech on the phone, who's name I recognized as someone who has been there for a while and is one of their senior techs, that I would absolutely be out of there in an hour - at most an hour and a half. I showed up at 3:20. My truck sat in their lot until 4:30. Finally when they pulled it into the bay, I followed back there and watched as a brand new tech told one of the other techs he had never done it before and what should he do. By 4:45 the truck was on a lift and all they managed to do was disconnect the battery. I went to the front and said I needed my truck back - I had to meet my wife and there was no way they were going to service my brakes in under 15 minutes. They just looked at me blankly and the tech said to me - "next time you really should make an appointment." I looked at him, told him I did (to which he just stated back at me blankly again), and I left. In all fairness their senior techs do a good job, but the way they treated me this time makes me think the thousands of dollars I've spent at LS over the years means nothing to them. read more

I was taken advantage of by a well-known, multiple-location car repair company in the past, so I am hesitant to purchase anything without thoroughly researching what needs to be done and the proper cost involved. I found myself in an emergency situation where time was of the essence. Troy was very informative and helpful. He put me at ease and took care of the problem very quickly, really helping me be on my way at a very stressful time. I cannot say enough how wonderful my experience at Les Schwab Tire Center has been. All the time, I see those corny commercials with the very scripted-sounding people raving about their positive experience, but it's so true! I showed up around 8:30 a.m. this morning, and someone quickly greeted me and asked how they could help. I wanted to get someone to take a look at my tires and make sure they are in good condition before I go on a long drive. He quickly inspected them, and said I COULD get this one upgrade for about $15/tire to help with traction but said I was fine without it. I liked that he wasn't overly salesly and he was being really honest. Then he said before I left to pull my car up to the garage area and he'd fill all my tires back up to the right amount (at no cost). While he was filling my tires, I asked him how he liked working at Les Schwab. Here's what he said exactly, "Les Schwab is the best place I've ever worked in my whole life." Wow. That's so awesome that he had such a positive outlook and was super friendly. The one downside is that it's easy to get to if you're coming from 520, but it's hard to go back because you have to turn left out of the parking lot to a light where you turn left and then turn left at another light. If there's traffic, this can take a while. Overall, great place. I will be back when I have more tire issues and will be a loyal customer here! read more

Super happy with the service I recently received at the Les Schwab in Redmond, Washington!   They had emailed me a coupon for a vehicle checkup a few weeks prior, which was good timing since my Tundra truck had started doing some weird vibration while driving.  I made an appointment and took the truck in, and they found a seized brake caliper.  I was pretty surprised when they said they could take care of it that same afternoon and I'd have my fixed truck back in the evening...plus, they actually got it done sooner!  This was really perfect timing, since I had a road trip coming up.  WOW!  Thank you Les Schwab! read more

Later that night I had to drive down to federal way I got to my destination and noticed my bumper completely gone along with my license plate. I thought wtf the tech must have detached it. I'm giving this place my very highest recommendation! Saturday afternoon just before a long (and very important to me) road trip that was to start early the next morning, I discovered that one of the inner back tires of my truck was not holding pressure. I headed to Les Schwab in a panic, and Jimmy and Mike could not have been more reassuring and helpful. It turned out to be a small problem (valve core) which was quickly and efficiently corrected and they wouldn't even charge me, even though they had to jack up my camper rig and remove the dual rear wheels to find the problem.
