She quickly got me scheduled for an appointment and made sure the mechanics were able to put air in my tire as a temporary fix so I could safely get by until my appointment. Today Caleb worked on my tire, found the nail causing the issue, and fixed it quickly. The whole experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about providing great service. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Les Schwab. About 10 months ago, I came in after hitting a curb and blowing out a tire. I specifically asked for an alignment because I knew that kind of impact could throw the alignment off. I purchased new tires, trusting that the requested work would be completed. Fast forward 10 months, and my front driver's side tire blew out due to severe uneven wear caused by an alignment issue. The front passenger tire was also dangerously worn and on its way to failing. When I brought my vehicle back, I was told there had been a "miscommunication" and that the alignment was never actually performed. I don't understand how a vehicle that came in after hitting a curb and needing a new tire wouldn't automatically receive the alignment I specifically requested. That oversight ruined an almost-new set of tires and created a serious safety hazard. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake, I was told there was nothing they could do except offer a free alignment now--an alignment that should have been done in the first place--while expecting me to pay nearly $500 for another set of tires. I trusted Les Schwab to perform the work I requested and to help keep my vehicle safe. Instead, I was left with destroyed tires, an unexpected expense, and a situation that could have resulted in a much more serious accident. Took my car in for a pre trip & to have the tires rotated / one checked for a nail. Car was finished quick & was provided paperwork that everything was in good shape on the car besides the front brakes being at 3MM & the rear at 4MM. No big deal I am capable of tossing in some pads & having the rotors turned. I quoted the pads at the dealer & found a place to turn the rotors. I removed the front wheels & found more pad material left than I had been told... A hair over 5MM on the front, odd I thought. Inner pad also had a tad over 5MM measured with normal brake pad measuring gauges. I checked the other side, same thing. Inner & outer over 5MM. So knowing the front has approximately 50% life left, I turned my attention to the rear. I had been told & provided paperwork they are at 4MM. Measured in at 5MM as well. I understand sometimes people will guesstimate the level of pad at shops, but to suggest replacement is sad. They hadn't given me a quote just the kid that rang me out told me I should look into some new pads. So here I am burning my day off work pulling the wheels off my car to essentially inspect what they should have in the first place. I'll choose another location next time, unfortunate. I worked on Diesels for several years in a past career, never had I recommended pads at 5MM. read more

I went in to have my rear brakes done and when I checked in the guy told me it would be an hour and a half. (This was at 2pm). When I was still waiting at 4:30 I asked the front desk person to please check when my car would be finished. She came out, mumbled something about a caliper and said it wouldn't be done till 6pm. At 6 pm it still wasn't finished. No apologies, efforts to make the situation right...nothing. I asked to speak to a manager who just stood there and didn't say a thing. I'm new to Nevada and Les Schwab has been taking care of my car for some years now. My brother in law was recently riding in the back seat of my car and thought he heard something disturbing with the brakes and told me to get it checked out. May of 2023 brakes, drums and tires were replaced. I was greeted with a smile and left my car to go get some lunch. Bottom line is, my car was thoroughly inspected and everything is just fine. I came in about 10 minutes before closing with a flat tire and asked if they had time to take a look. Damien helped me immediately and explained that, because my car is all-wheel drive, all four tires needed to be replaced. He was very transparent, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood everything. The service was extremely fast, high quality, and well worth the price. We lost the RR tire on our toy hauler while on I-80 near the Mustang exit. After fitting the spare we called the Les Schwab Northeast Reno store-they had the tires in stock! When we pulled in Rob (store manager) met us himself. We had initially considered cancelling our vacation until we met with him and his crew who had us back on the road within an hour despite being VERY busy at the time we arrived. I usually go to the Silverada location because I always get great service, and the staff in the office and garage are always friendly and helpful. I got in my car this morning, and my low tire light was on, so I headed right over, and as usual, I was not disappointed. Took my car in for a tire rotation. A few days later, i heard odd sound from one wheel. Took it back as soon as I was able and turns out the front axel was broken and they rotated the tires wrongly on my Camaro. The rear (bigger) tires were installed in the front. They gave me printout of service recommendations dated for the the original date of took the car in. My concern is they never once called to tell me this service was needed before I picked up the car originally AND i didn't have this issue until after they did the tire rotation. Hmm Went in for a tire repair on a brand new jeep and they didn't replace the valve caps with the original ones. These guys are incompetent. Don't bother coming here. read more

This store is fantastic! It's now my go-to tire shop. While traveling from CA, our car started losing air. Upon inspection, we discovered that the inside edge had loose tread, causing the leak. After a few minutes of calling tire shops, Les Schwab was the only one willing to stay late on a Friday. We arrived 5 minutes after closing and left 15 minutes later. Without a doubt the Les Schwab store on Silverado is the best! This is the second time I've had problems with the tires on my RV and Les Schwab was the fix all to end all the problems I've had. Daniel worked hard to see the oversized tires were right and went so far as to remove the tires (very difficult) to ensure they were remounted and functioning the right way. Rob, the manager came by and assisted Daniel with the heavy tires and clearly showed he had the experience and knowledge to get the job done right. They are over the top! We were on our way to Washoe Lake and our back tire went flat. We called Les Schwab on Silverado and Oddie Sparks NV. They had previously repaired our flat so they sent Matt a service tech all the way out to where we were to help us change our tire. Without their Excellent Service I don't know how long our family would have been stranded out in the middle of no where in 100 weather. When we came in to have the tire repaired we ran into Matt again he was so amazing for a second time. The manager Rob made a whole new batch of popcorn to keep my kids entertained. Took my truck in to get an alignment at the Oddie Les Schwab. They told me I needed about $800 worth of steering linkage before it could be aligned. I had had the front end checked last fall and it was fine then. I took the same truck to Big O the followingday and they said the front end was fine, and aligned it for less that $200. Don't trust what Oddie Les Schwab tells you. read more

Bought a truck with Les Schwab tires. Les Schwab refused to honor warranty. Discount tire will honor the warranty. Would have bought a matching tire if they had honored the warranty. Super expensive and no warranty despite only 19,000 miles. Went to Discount and bought 4 new tires. Hard no to overpriced and don't stand behind their product. May be a company policy. Last week we walked in on a thursday morning at 9:15 am for a rotation was told its a 3hr wait , came back in 3hrs and my vehicle was not touched and was told 4 cars were ahead of mine . I have always liked Les Schwab and still do but this is just not cool. I booked an appointment to get my winter tires put on. Upon arrival I was told it will be 1 - 2 hour wait... WAT?!?! Shortly after, a walk in was also told that there was a 1 - 2 hour wait... Wait, so what is the point of an appointment if you get dropped in line with the walk ins? Totally a first world problem but Les Schwab you can do better here. Some people plan ahead and make appointments because they do not have a schedule that will let them sit a wait for 2 hours. read more

Brought my vehicle in for repair. Made appointment online, explain what was wrong with it at the time of making online appoint to get it fixed. Dropped off vehicle and get a call two hours later stating they were complete only to find out that they completed their inspection of the issue. They did not have the part in stock and wouldn't get it in until that Friday (it was Sunday). I received no call on Friday that it arrived or the following week. I had to call and remind them I was waiting. Made a new appointment for the following weekend. Arrive and drop off only to get a call stating that they have the wrong part. Their story is that the vendor boxed the wrong part, but with their abysmal Admin performance prior, I suspect they ordered the incorrect part. So I will have to agree to disagree on their story. Then I get told that they cannot put the part that they took off and that I am now without a vehicle until they can get the part in. It was drivable when I brought it in, and now I have to figure out how to get to work. I called Ford and 4WD parts and found the part specified for my vehicle and they had a part in stock. I took pictures and sent them asking if the part will work and told yes by 2 separate entities, so I got a ride across town to pick it up and bring it in. Only to be told Ford, 4WD, and even Google and other searches stated the wrong part and it doesn't fit. At this point I do not know what to believe. I have spent over $100 in ubers alone to get around town, and I will have to spend hundreds on a rental for an unknown time. I will have to call daily to see if they have the part in because they cannot be trusted to even do that. I cannot bring it to another shop because they took everything apart without even verifying that they have to correct part to begin with and now I am stuck. I know it is not 100% the mechanic themselves fault, but above is my experience....take it or leave it. Good mechanics are hard to find and I just recently moved here and have not found one yet, hence bringing it to a chain. read more

i called and gave my tire size and i was looking for cheap tires and they said they have them in stock and to come in. I went in, of course they didn't have the tires i wanted and they try to sell me the most expensive tires. The sales person name is Kristina K L. They also refuse to patch my flat tire just because i won't buy the most expensive set. The salesperson Kristina refuse to give me the Manager's name. The Manager is well aware of what's going on and completely turn a blind eye. For them to get away with this, the whole entire staff must be in on this. Just needed 4 wheels and tires that were already mounted and balanced bolted on my truck. I called and was quoted $26.50 over the phone. Drove there and was told that is was $210 because the wheels and tires weren't purchased from Les Schwab. Then I was told that I wasn't quoted $26.50 over the phone because they don't provide quotes over the phone. The tall gentleman working the front desk was very rude. I got this work completed in 20 minutes at Ray's on 4th for $20. Please avoid this Les Schwab at all costs. read more

My son had a flat and brought it in to this Les Schwab. 1) They said they had no record of our buying the tires there. Does it matter? They're Schwab-exclusive tires. 2) They said the tire was damaged beyond repair and would have to be replaced. Wasn't excited about that, but I could live with it because there was damage. 3) They said we would have to replace all four because the car was AWD. I understand the reasoning, but with less than 10k miles on a 65k warrantied tire, I didn't think the difference in diameter was enough to cause problems. A new set would be around $700.
