Got a flat tire with no spare!! Haven't gotten a flat tire for 25 years and assumed my car had one when I bought it. Nope!!! Was late notice, tow truck got there shortly before they closed. They said they could get me in in the morning. I asked if there was any way they could do it, and that I really needed my car for the morning. They were very understanding, and actually took time to do it even though they had to stay late. They were fast and friendly! This is the only tire shop I will go to in Reno. read more

We jumped off the trail w the jeep and needed a place to air up. They were happy to air up the 35's and get us back on the road. Ladies, avoid this place like the plague!!! Perry, a mechanic there, hit on me the entire time I was there. He left at one point to attend to personal errands while I was waiting there. Then I found out my gas cap was all but glued on, I could not remove it. Brought it to another mechanic to get it unstuck and he couldn't even identify what was used to seal it. And THEN, they found multiple clamps disconnected and the gas tank tampered with. To ensure repeat business. I paid $800 for this. I'd originally gone in to see why my check engine light was on. When I left it was off. But as soon as my gas cap was pried off the light came back on. Absolutely incomprehensible. When I went in to make a complaint, the older gentleman was very nice and knew who I was talking about before I even said his name. Ladies: STAY AWAY! read more

This place is a known shady business. They will lie and try to get you to buy new tires by saying the current tires are unsafe. They got my wife for new tires and full brakes when they were not needed. I have been coming to this location for years. I went here last weekend and was so disappointed in the services. I had an inspection done and thousands of dollars worth of repairs were apparently needed. They even told me I needed an oil change when I had done it 3 weeks prior. I took my truck to two other places to get inspected and they couldn't confirm anything they had on that report. They both said this place was trying to scam me because the items listed were in great shape. I will not be returning here. In addition to lying, the people at the front desk had me up there for 45 mins trying to convince me why the repairs were needed but couldn't even tell me exactly what it was. It was a mess. These guys were great. I called them up looking for a specific winter tire. They didn't have them in stock, but have them delivered from a nearby store. I drove over there and within a couple hours I had my tires mounted, balanced, and my sensors reset. It was a great price on the tires, no pressure to upsell me. The store manager, Jason, did follow through with his promise to make it right for me. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation about 2 weeks ago. I dropped my car around 10am and they were finished within 3 hours. They also caught a leak in my motor mount that I was able to fix before it got too bad and saved me a ton of money. I appreciate them being professional and fairly priced. read more

They were able to take my car in last minute, 1.5 hours before the store closes, for a wheel alignment. Both guys at the front with were very pleasant and got my car in and out within an hour. The wait area could use some updating but other than that, the service was great. read more

Took my car in for a basic tire repair (patching a small hole). 2 1/2 hours later I swing back by to check on my car, and they have the wrong wheel off. I told the man behind the counter who then ran in, and corrected the mistake. I show up 4 hours later to finally pick up my car, and when I do, every single thing in my glove box, trunk, and center console is spewed around my car. Napkins mixed in with my insurance information in a huge pile on the floor. I went back inside the store to inform them of the clutter and ask for an explanation. To which they told me it was some young kid who is new and they'd "talk to him". At that point I was annoyed, but willing to let it go because nothing seemed to be missing, and they did fix my tire. Thats until I got home. Now my tire is missing the screw cap that fits over my tires air port. Another small inconvenience, but for me it's the principle. I took my car in for the most basic repair, and I leave with a laundry list of complaints? Ridiculous. Do better read more

Ok so I was impatient, hot and bothered. Also, bugged them annoyingly about my car being done and it took longer than expected (that's the knock on the one star). But, I have to say the handled it with absolute professionalism. They were apologetic, understanding and kind. I had a screw in my tire and I thought a crack in another, but rather than trying to rip me off by just replacing both, they checked it out and told me it was just cosmetic. And the tire they fix cost less than I thought. Then I thought they lost my key, but they just had been given my spare by the tow truck driver and handled my mini freak out with professional attitude. They did have to order the tire and took longer than expected and when I told them I need my car ASAP I'm going to miss an appointment (physical therapy) they got it done in 20 minutes. I don't know if they'll take me back as a customer but I would recommend them and be understanding, they really try their best! read more

Not happy today. Went there yesterday to price tires. Very good price. Was told I could come back before Sunday and get the sale price. Came back today..."SORRY WE CANNOT GET THOSE TIRES WE NEVER KNOW WHEN THE PRIMEWELL TIRES WILL COME IN." Understood. I asked what else do you have in my size. "NOTHING" 245/65/17 is apparently a hard to get size. I said you are making me go down the street for tires? So it's been 2 weeks since my first review of this place. I contacted corporate and they turned it over to the local store manager for a follow up with me. No one contacted me. They then referred it to the regional manager for a follow up within 2 days. 4 days later no calls. Since then I replaced the brake pads with higher quality ones, at my expense, because every time I got off the fwy the brakes would smoke and smell because they were over heating. I don't drive fast or abuse my truck. Just a normal driver but the brakes couldn't even take that so out of safety for me and my family I replaced the brake pads. Could you imagine loosing my brakes with my family in the truck because they purchased the cheapest junk parts? That's why I replaced the parts with a higher quality at a cheaper price than what they sold me the junk stuff at. This shop needs to be closed down before someone gets hurt by their putting money over safety. I beg you people don't go here. Please don't go here. read more

I have used Tires Plus for years-not this location tho-I had ck engine lite come on-I took car in-shop people said it was transmission issue and referred me to a transmission shop in a scary part of town-as a woman I shouldn't have been sent there in a car that needed emergency repair-additionally I called the transmission shop and they did not answer-went to a different mechanic not affiliated with Tires Plus vehicle was repaired no transmission problem plus shuttle service home-I do not recommend this location of Tire Plus. read more

I had a low tire light come on in my car, so I drove to a Tires Plus location, and they put air in two of my tires and I thanked them and drove away. A couple hours later my tire light was on again so I drove to the nearest Tires Plus store and the guy there said they were too busy to fix it, but he did call another location to see if they could get my car in. It was a late afternoon on a Sunday so of course they could not fix it right away but they did have me drop it off so they could fix it the next morning. When I went inside the store the guy was very friendly and helpful and I told him my dog was in the car, so he let me run out and bring her in. After giving him my info and key, he promised they would get to it first thing the next day. I called the store less than 2 hours after opening and he said he was just finishing it up and I could head over to pick it up. I am so very happy this Tire store is open on Sunday's and I'm lucky they were able to fix my flat. Turned out I had run over a small screw. I really appreciate the fact they are open on Sunday's cause flats can happen any day of the week. I do recommend this place they deserve a 5-star rating from the customer service to the work that was done. read more

To whom this may concern, I'd highly advise going somewhere else to get service for your car as this place can't seem to get their service together, they quote 30-50mins for a tire rotation when in reality it should be less than 10mins, if they take jobs on one at a time rather than jumping from car to car running around like headless chickens they'd probably have a more smooth day getting cars in and out rather than cars sitting for hours. I checked in at 8:40am left at 11:50am, I'd gone for them to bleed the brakes and tire rotation. Was quoted it'd be a couple hours, boi was I wrong. What makes no sense is why they would start a brake job without having the specified brake fluid that's required by the manufacturer, communication is a big factor with customers so no one's time is wasted had I known how bad this place was I would've taken my business elsewhere but I ended up getting stuck waiting for their carrier to deliver the brake fluid since they had none on hand. By far my worst experience with any automotive repair shop with no value or consideration towards new customers. read more

Do not go to this tires plus location horrible customer service took in my car today to get a flat repair and a tire rotation. They called me to notify me that the tire cannot be repaired because the hole was on the side wall which was understandable but then they call me back And say that they cannot find any record of me buying the tires at tires plus I told him what location I had bought the tires that they could call them. They told me that I had to call them so I told him hey I'm at work you can't call him and he said That he couldn't find anything any records so I went ahead and called the tires plus location where I bought them and explain to him what was going on and he said not to worry that he would take care of it I then called the location again and I told him hey I called the other place. Did he call you and he said yes I spoke to him. Everything's been taken care of. He call me and told me that the cost to get a brand new tire it was gonna be $230. I said I don't have that money now. I will replace it later 10 minutes later I hear another phone come from someone else and tells me that the tire is gonna cost me 130 so I told him which one is the price what is going on here and he said that he apologize for the miscommunication I said OK that's fine then I go to go pick up my vehicle as I'm coming back to work. I parked my car and I noticed that the tires were not rotated. I make a phone call and I call him and I tell him hey why didn't you rotated my tires . He put me on hold for like 20 minutes, I told him my tires were supposed to be rotated then he puts me on hold for like another 10 minutes then he comes back with me and tells me that there is a miscommunication. I told him I had brought it in for a tire flat, which I understand couldn't be repaired I told him, but I still wanted my tires rotated he said again there is a miscommunication with the mechanics. I told him you guys had my car all day and couldn't rotate my tires so once again, do not take your car to this location horrible customer service. read more

Great place to have your tires done. Found a deal on the internet and these guys didn't have the tires in. They gave me the same price on a better set of tires instead of making me wait a week or more, for mine to get in. Explained to these guys that they were going on my wife's car and she needed to feel safe. They also gave me a discount on an oil change since I was getting the tires there.
