I was on I-5 southbound when I got a warning on my dash that my PSI was dropping rapidly. I looked up the nearest Les Schwab and arrived with 12psi left in the tire. They found a bolt in my tire and patched it up. Since I bought my tires from there it's complimentary repair. I was in and out of there within 10 minutes! Definitely saved my day. read more

Came In for new tires and they overfilled one of my tires that in return kept setting off my tire pressure sensor. No big deal that alone was fine. A associate told me pull up into the spot next to were they fill tires so i did as i was told. Next thing i know a associate named Blake came out and and told me in a rude rushed manor i needed to move because i was " slowing down the shop and messing things up". I politely moved knowing i was already in a rush and was told to park there. After that another car that was behind me cut me in line and made me even later. At the West Salem location I have only had horrible service on numerous occasions, which has now led me to write my first ever poor review of any company. If you are looking to buy tires, go somewhere else, you cannot expect transparency of pricing, service fees, or follow through from this location. read more

Safety is not a priority here. I went in to have new tires put on my car because I noticed some damage on them. After they looked at my tires further, I was told that the two on the right definitely needed to be replaced, but the other two were fine. However, there WAS a smaller gash on my front left tire, but I was assured that it was nothing to worry about and that they were going to move it to the back and put two new tires in the front. I got the car back and upon inspection, I was a bit worried that they had accidentally forgotten to switch the tires and had only replaced the front two. The tire on the back right looked exactly the same. It was pretty memorable, as it had a big ugly gash and marks all around it. I went back to ask them to inspect it, just for my peace of mind, and was told that the damage was not deep enough for it to cause concern and they had done exactly what they said they did. I was still a bit worried so I decided to get a second opinion at a different Les Schwab. I was pretty quickly told that they could see cords in the gash and the tire was not safe to drive on. The new worker told me that it'd be best if I went back to the other store and had them get my old tires out of the trash so they could correct the issue, since I was originally told that at least two of my tires were safe. Once I saw my old tires, it was pretty obvious to me that my suspicion was correct and they had accidentally just changed the front two tires. I looked at these tires everyday and I knew which was which. The manager that I spoke to was not understanding of anything I had to say. He immediately didn't believe me and said, "we don't have cameras here because my guys don't lie and they don't make mistakes." Which I find to be extremely concerning, because EVERYONE makes mistakes and that's completely okay. My problem wouldn't have ever existed if they had just told me, "We noticed that all three of your tires were unsafe and decided to keep the safest one. However, we recommend replacing that one as well." Instead, they had someone come check the tire that was still on my car, and they tried to tell me that it was perfectly fine and just surface damage. Why did I get a second opinion that is the complete opposite? It's genuinely disgusting to me that they omitted the truth to save themselves or are not competent enough to see that my tire had cords showing. Even if they were right, (which they weren't! I ended up getting a THIRD opinion, and they also told me that I should not be driving on the tire they kept) I was sent all around town trying to get the right information because they didn't update me on keeping my back tire instead of the front left one. They tried to just tell me the job was done exactly how they said it was, but even if what I was saying was true, "we kept the safe tire." The manager ended up calling the Lancaster Les Schwab that I went to for a second opinion. He was told exactly what I was told, that my tire was not okay to drive on. The other store actually ended up offering to give me a third tire for free. I didn't take them up on the offer, but I was appreciative that they were willing to fix a mistake they didn't even make. Overall, I'm just extremely disappointed in the service that I received. Either way, even without the mix up happening, they were going to let me drive on a bad tire. I was completely misinformed and put at risk because they were careless and not understanding of anything I had to say. Furthermore, I was not taken seriously at all until my mother showed up and the manager had to speak to somebody his own age. I was completely dismissed before this, and he even had to apologize to me for how he was "speaking out of emotion." His demeanor completely changed when he made that phone call to the other store, because my story was being validated by somebody that he actually had an ounce of respect for. This was a whole ordeal when it should've just been a routine tire inspection and change. I will not be returning because it's clear to me that they have no respect for young women or their customers. You can't preach "safety is our priority" when, no matter how you spin this or who you believe, they were going to send me on my merry way with a bad tire. There was a huge screw that poked a hole in my tire, I was able to get my truck there, even though they were almost closed, they quickly and happily fixed my tire, and made my day when they didn't even charge for it! Argh! Had to get a new tire after I met up with a pothole or curb somewhere along my travels. Not the way I wanted to spend my Friday. I called a couple of other Les Schwab Tire Centers to see if I could get an appointment and they were FCFS with at least an hours wait. Nope, didn't want to do that so I started calling around to the others Les Schwab Tire Centers in the area. Score! An appointment! I arrived shortly before my scheduled time and took care of the exchange of keys and selected the tire I wanted and found a bench outside where I could read while I waited. At a couple of minutes passed my appointment time my car was headed in and just shy of half an hour later they were done. My only hang up was that while they were taking Covid precautions, they weren't enforcing the mandatory mask order for customers. read more

Let me start off by saying that seeing this location have a 3.5 star review on yelp makes absolute sense. Today 6/20 at 6pm I had one of our employees take one of our fleet vehicles into this specific location today. We told them to inspect the brakes. They said there was nothing wrong with the brakes. Here's a picture of what was actually wrong. The entire brake system and that specific tire was nonfunctional yet my employee was told that everything was fine. And of course the first thing they tried doing was selling some brand new tires. I called them to point this out and spoke with both a mid-level manager as well as the store manager and I will tell you it was a pretty unfortunate and sad interaction. The customer service culture at that location is being driven by a manager that I believe doesn't understand the customer service experience. I am livid. The store manager spent 75% of the time blaming us for not having told them that the brakes were already broken. Saying that this is why they did not catch it. Keep in mind they say they offer free brake inspection's, well he made it clear today that free brake inspection's are only a quarter of a real brake inspection. If you're looking for accuracy, don't use their free service or just take it somewhere else. read more

Like most of the Les Schwab centers in this huge Oregon chain, these guys are simply awesome. This location is larger than most and the customer service is so good, that service like this is practically unheard of. The waiting area is complete with a popcorn machine and waiting area. They are good at what they do (tires) and very honest with what they do (at least so far). Its hard to turn away the free tire check and free winter tire exchanges. They'll fill up air in your tire, even if you didn't buy it from them. I wish every tire center could be as professional and as courteous as these guys. read more

Customer service is becoming extinct at a lot of places, even though it doesn't take much to feel like you're appreciated as a customer. Their prices per tire includes everything but spin balancing, which was $14 per tire, I believe. You can view selection and pricing of tires for your vehicle on their website. Came here right before we had a snowstorm. The store wasn't super busy, but busy enough with the walk-ins that we had to wait about 2 hours from the time we pulled in to the time we left. But we expected it to be a lot worse. They got my snow tires put on and my regular tires off quickly and since I had bought the rims and stuff from them it didn't cost me anything which was nice. read more

Of all our past visits over several years, we've alway appreciate and trusted them with our vehicles. Today we came in for our pre-trip check because we're heading up the mountains to the snow. Josh rang us up and we said we needed snow chains for our car. He said that our car tires the way it's built won't fit chains. We said, we checked with our dealer and that it did and dealer had it for sale. I had to convince him to dig deeper to look into the fact that, yes, in fact, there are chains available for out vehicle type. After a little research, yes, they do in fact have a set of chains there that will fit. Josh brought out the chains in bag. Bag looked worn, tattered, tag with measurements missing. He assured us this is the correct ones. I asked ( just to be sure, because it looked pretty beat up bag) if these in fact were new chains and not used. He smirked and said, yeah, people leave them in their car and it looks like that when they bring them back for refund in the Spring to return for refund if they are NOT used. He half-heartedly unzipped the bag for a split second to say see? "It's not used, it's new. " At this point, Josh, should have offered to bring out a better looking bag. Seriously, as big of a company as Les Schwab are, Josh, you could afford to do this. Ok, great, that's always been a great policy. Don't use you chains, bring them back. The warranty on their bag of chains even states this. You can't bring it back used. Apparently, you can roll it out all over the muddy road, and say, you were just "testing" them, and didn't use it. ;) good to know guys! As for me, honestly I just don't want to risk my life in case we do have to go and open it up to use it and possibly have it been " tested out" and compromised by someone else. Point made. Well, we got home and husband wanted to check the inside of the bag, it was a muddy bag, chains were also muddy, and the tire measurement tags are missing. We wasted another trip back to Les Schwab ( after already being there 2hrs this morning) to exchange to a different bag of chains. This new one was brought out by Jaime, this time. He's the one that is there in the front a lot. We told him why we're back, and he pushed it off as nothing biggie, someone must have "tested" them out then decided to return them. No apologies, or "sorry you had to come back." My point is, great policy about returns on unopened/unused chains....., but NOT ok to resell them even if you " think" these were " just tested " that's why there are mud all over the chains. REALLY??! THEY HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED !! WHAT IF THEY WERE DEFECTIVE??! We trusted you in the past for helping us stay safe on the roads, I hope this is not a indication that service is lacking with some staff. Just a tip : Most males working there are very hard workers and friendly, can't help but sitting there for 2hrs wait and observing that maybe the girls working the front there should try to maybe smile a bit more and be a little more friendlier. Concerned about safety, we searched for the nearest outlet and found ourselves at the busy Keizer store. We were politely cautioned about a possible two hour wait for inspection, but Jamie took our concern to heart , cautioned against further driving without proper repairs, and then arranged with Daniel to get our work done in what must have been record time. My husband had me call around for pricing to get a brake fluid flush, I don't remember the name of the man who answered the phone but he was extremely rude and made me feel like I was asking a stupid question because I was a woman. My exact question was "how much is it for a brake fluid flush?" He wouldn't give me a price directly and instead, he asked me questions like "why do I think I want a fluid flush", "have I looked under the hood?", "has anyone actually looked at the car? "," who told me to call and get a price?" When I snapped at him and told him to just give me a price quote he very reluctantly told me and then rudely said he had no openings that day and I would have to get an appointment if I wanted their service. They had the cheapest price but because of such horrible customer service over the phone, I opted to pay more elsewhere that had fantastic customer service. I will never bring my business to Les Schwab again. read more

I have been a customer of Les Schwab for a long time and have rarely been disappointed by their service or the quality of their work. Today I took my truck in to have them check a slow leak that was causing the tire pressure warning to come on. They were, as always, very busy. I was told it would be 90 minutes or more before they could get to me. 40 minutes later my name was called and I was informed my truck was ready. They found a screw in the tire, removed it, and fixed the tire. I pulled my wallet out to pay and was told not to worry about it. No charge. Just an ask that I visit them when I need new tires. I have been using Les Schwab for 40 plus years and have always found them great. Unfortunately that ended yeaterday , they did a tire rotation for me andctold me my brakes needed replacing. Good info. They gave me an estimate of "Quotation total: $593.97". This was less than the other two quotes I got. I went with them . When I went to pay for it I was told the bill was $1,049.94. I questioned this and was told that the 593.97 was for the rear brakes. I asked why they didnt give a full quote I was told that " you just dont like the way we do our estimates. 6:05PM on a Friday in an unfamiliar town after four hours of driving. Absolute wrong time to have a tire blow out. To make matters worse, the spare we had never used had a different lug pattern then the wheel. TRUE disaster, right? It got worse before it got Les Schwab. We called the two closest tire shops minutes after their closing and got voice mail or just ringing. 6:10PM we dial third closest, Les Schwab. Right away someway answered, happily and professionally. Would they stay open another ten minutes for us to get there? Yes! We got there after hitching a ride, tire in tow, quickly had it replaced in the rim with a used one from stock and we were on our way. Way to live up to the great customer service reputation guys! What more can be said for Les Schwab's great service? I dock them heavily for price and wait times, however. They are always higher than competitors and if you don't get in first thing in the morning you will wait for HOURS no matter what they are doing for you. Honestly, I check Costco's tire center first. Their service is not great but the wait and cost make up for it IMO. I'd probably give them 4 stars in comparison. read more

I was in and out in five minutes tops, including the time it took to add air to all four tires. Driving home from work today I was stopped at a light when some guys on the sidewalk motioned to me that my back passenger tire was flat. I drove another mile to this Les Schwab location and almost panicked when I saw that they closed at 5pm and it was now 5:30. I spotted a guy in the garage, knocked, and he immediately came out to help. The two guys who were still there took my tire off, removed the screw stuck in it, repaired the tire, and sent me on my way. Never once did they grumble that they actually were closed. I bought two tires there a couple of months ago after having a flat on I5. Service was great and was out in a very short time. Originally I thought I was going to have to come back the next day since I got the flat at the end of the day. Today one of the tires that was not replaced needed air so I went in to fill the tire. My left back tire was giving me issues slow leak started on Wednesday when I was on my way to work. I know right! What a lucky women I am, the 3rd day of my work being open looks like I might have a flat tire I pulled into the nearest exit and was helped and got some air put in my tire. Made it to work and back home good thing was I had the next 4 days off so what happens on Friday? Well I notice my tire is way lower so I start creating the worst case scenarios in my head and I start googling and researching prices on tires Les Schwab had the most convincing prices so I decided to go in. Mind you I've had my car since 2016 so in my head I though I was going to for sure be told I needed to replace all 4 tires. What happened next made my whole year. I walk in and I am helped by the nicest men. What! They didn't take advantage of a women that knows nothing about tires. Nope they didn't they took my car while my little one and I ran to Fred Meyers quickly to get a snack since I thought it was going to take forever since they were supper busy but nope took me longer to check out at Freddy's. When I got back I was told it had a small hole they took care of it and that my tires have 5,000 more miles on it so not to worry about it now but to plan ahead of time for a future buy and that hopefully I consider them when that time comes. They suspended our SUV in the air for new tires on three jacks. Two in front and one jack on the rear. NO jackstands. When I brought it up to the manager he said that they only rest a car on jack stands I found there is someone underneath. For a store that always pushes safety, that is ridiculous. I said that a car should always be on jack stands and not just suspended on only the jacks themselves. This is the response I got: "appreciate it." That's it. Dismissive, and stand off-ish. Horrible way to shut down a customer who brings up the most basic safety issue. Suspending a car on jacks only with no jack stands is just plain stupid coming from a "professional" company. read more

Yesterday this LS repaired a tire that had gotten a nail in it on our RAV4. Today After the "low tire pressure" light came on again I went to Toyota thinking we had a warranty problem. They found the air pressure sensor had been damaged when the flat was repaired. After $140 later at CapToyota, I returned to LS where they refunded the money without question after I explained what Toyota found was the problem. I had a slow leak in one of the rear tires. I popped in at 10am to see if I could get it fixed. They were busy as usual, and was told about a 45 min wait. (Fine with me, I expected a longer wait.) They fixed it for free and I was out in 30 minutes. The waiting area was comfy, air conditioned, and welcoming. read more

I took my car in complaining of shaking and pulling at highway speeds. They completed and front end alignment, and told me that would take care of the pulling. I asked about the shaking, and they said that the alignment wouldn't cause shaking. I asked what would and they said being unbalanced. After explaining that the tire were just mounted and balanced, so that could be it. They finally brought it in to inspect the car. It was like pulling teeth!!! They then told me that one of the rims was cracked. Fine, I decided to take the tires to a U-pull it place to swap for steelies, but I found out that Schwabs left the tire and wheel sepaparate. I took it back to Schwabs and explained that the wheels are not going to be used and that they are only interested in seeing if the tires hold pressure. Schwabs refused to mount the tire that they unmounted, and smiled and told me to have a good day as they screwed me. Thanks Schwabs, now I can't get to and from work. You don't even sell the wheels that I need for my car. You've been a big help in absolutely nothing. Oh, but you did align the car that I can't drive now. You're fantastic! I have been trusting Les Schwab stores for all my tire, brake, suspension work for nearly 40 years and always find their service to be polite and professional and their products and services to be good quality and fairly priced. I have been doing business with the Keizer, Oregon store for 12 years. The manager Blake and all of the employees at the Keizer store do an outstanding job. Just recently they saved me over $1000 in unnecessary work that had been fraudulently recommended by a Ford dealership. I know that I can TRUST Blake and the staff at the Les Schwab Keizer store and that means so much to me. read more
