In general the tire and battery purchase and install services appear to be done well for a good price. They lack in communication up front, like not asking if I want an alignment with the four tire replacement and lost time with it going back into the shop. Not a lot of guidance on whether the tire I chose online was the best option. The warranty paperwork does not note my actual warranty mileage value. Finally, don't assume that your customers are idiots. No, really! In order to jump start a 2015 Avalon hybrid with a dead battery, you really do need to access the battery in the trunk. And the trunk needs to be opened by pulling the wire from within the cabin. And the battery is in the side quarter panel not under the rug with the spare tire. read more

He found a shop that had the right size, kind, etc. he called their shop on Bel-Red? road In Bellevue and asked them to hold 1 for me. Then they aired up all tires to correct PSI. Rotated all tires and Put on my donut spare. All at No Change! Just because they didn't have my tire in stock. They just got a customer for life. read more

After several visits to this Les Schwab over the years and very good service in the past (always the same service- a seasonal tire changeover), today I was given a classic bait & switch. After being quoted $101 for the service at check-in (the same price I had paid on multiple other occasions), when my car was ready, I was told the new price was $225 because I did not buy the tires at Les Schwab, a "new policy as of this month." I understand policies can change, but why quote me the same $101 when I arrived, only to double the price an hour later after the fact (see attached photo)? If I was given an actual up-front price, at least I would have a choice, but instead I was forced to pay the increase to get my car back. Lesson learned, I will not be back to Les Schwab. This place is so well liked and busy -- I had to get there 1/2hr early to get in line (no reservations available online) and there were 12 people in front of me. Thankfully the staff was still able to take me in and they gave me excellent reasonably priced tires. Great service, clean place and very friendly staff. The technician guy name Antonio, He told me that because your name not on the invoice customer field so, we are not able to give you free rotation and tires repair services at all. Really? If my dad buy me new set of tires I can't get warranty and after sales service because have to my dad come with me in order to get free services? I have always used LesSchwab for all of my tires and custom rims because they treat all customers RIGHT! This is the first time that we have bought any tires from this location. And I'm not to happy with the way my Audi came back to me after spending over $1000 for 4 new Falcon tires! All my rims never were washed after they installed new tires!!!!!! And the glue they use to seal the tires to the rims are all over one of my rims. Pictures are posted I know they are busy, but this isn't the way you return a valued customers vehicles! I love this Les Schwab! I needed a tire alignment which turned out to be something more serious and other shops were asking for double, even triple the price that Les Schwab was offering. Not only were they able to get me in quickly and efficiently, but the final price turned out to be even less than I was quoted for. Also, my back up camera stopped working a few days before my appointment but once my car was done, it was functioning properly again! Pro: eventually got tire repaired Cons: so this is the new Les Schwab business model. Tell any walk in customer or calling customer the wait is 4-5 hours, regardless. I got this same response at 4 area Schwabs I called on multiple days. The last one I just said okay and said I'd wait....and wait I did. About 4 hours in of the employees being super uncomfortable with me just being there, sitting and waiting one of them finally engaged me and asked my name and car. And just like that, it was taken back and worked on. I guess this review is just the new Les Schwab - the days of their traditional service; techs running to greet you when you drive up, return customer service priority, servicing walk in clients - those days are dead. So I decided to call around and landed on Les Schwab. They said over the phone the cost to repair was $20, so I drove ove and left my car with them. Two hours later, they were done. My husband's car's two left tires blew out near this location yesterday morning so he rolled in to get it repaired. They l could only tell him it'd be done by 6pm when they close. His work let everyone go home early because of the snow in the early afternoon and by around 3, they still hadn't even begun to work on his car. He made it home around 5.30 after they basically just did a quick tire replacement with essentially no explanation or info. This afternoon, after working from home, he was leaving for his second job only to discover one of the tires was already flat! When he took it back to the same location, he was told there was literally nothing that could be done and he'd just have to come back another day. They reinflated the tire at least but it was already losing pressure after only three miles. He managed to get into the west Seattle location on Alaska avenue only to be told the same thing that they weren't willing to help correct their mistake. He ended up taking his a couple blocks away to Pep Boys where they immediately found cracked rims and said that this should have been caught yesterday and repaired the first time. This location put his safety at risk by not doing a competent job in the first place. Realistically we shouldn't be on the hook for any costs but I doubt LS will agree. Play it safe and take your business elsewhere! read more

Brought my relatively new car in to get the tire pressure checked and filled (for free, no appt) and they found a gouge in a different tire which is the type of thing that would've led to a blowout on the freeway. They fit me in and I bought pair of new tires for the front of my car. I was on my way a few hours later. This shop is very popular, so be sure to make an appointment if you think you need new tires. The tires I bought have a warranty and are designed to last 80,000 miles. I will receive a percentage of what I paid back based on how many miles I've driven when they need to be replaced. read more

They were busy with a bit of a wait but unlike other places where people stand around, the employees were actually getting tasks completed. So I decided to wait. The wait was 10 minutes longer than they predicted but they also had the tire repaired ten minutes less than they predicted and so I'd say it worked out. This was two thousand miles ago and the repair is still holding. This week I got a reminder to come in for a complementary tire rotation and safety check. Wow, great customer service! One last BIG item. This is a new truck and I didn't buy anything from them. They clearly are trying to earn future business. Worked for me. I'll be back. read more

Came in because I got a flat tire and needed a replacement. I was fine at first and appreciated their input on getting all four tires replaced since it was all wheel drive. What wasn't great was that I am having a hard time since it was a large expense for me, and I was upset and stressed, trying to pay for it as I am a grad student with little savings. I paid after crying and as I was getting into my car, I could see the person that had checked me out, was laughing, making fun of me with her coworkers. She was mocking tears under my eyes and laughing until she made eye contact and she was just staring at me in my car. She had brown hair and tattoos and a lip piercing. Had a really poor experience at this Les Schwab location, which is unusual for this company and something I felt compelled to share with others so hopefully they can avoid this specific store. I wanted to buy a new set of tires for my car - simple enough yeah? I called and asked what would fit my car and their recommendation wasn't in stock but they could order it from the warehouse. Sounds good, I made an appointment to have the tires installed in about 2 weeks since my work schedule didn't let me come in any sooner. The day before my appointment, I call to confirm the appointment but the person who answered the phone couldn't find any record that it had ever been created. They're able to fit me in the schedule though and assure me that the tires are ready. Fast forward to the next day and lo and behold, the tires haven't arrived yet. Even though they were supposedly ordered two weeks ago! They say the tires should arrive later that day and that I can come back, but that doesn't work for my schedule so I make another appointment for a few days in the future. The day before the second appointment, I call to confirm (especially given the experience I had before) and guess what - still no tires! But they "should be" there the day of the appointment, but they can't say when exactly. Yeah no thanks. At this point I gave up and had them cancel everything. For a place named Les Schwab Tire Center, it's amazing how they made buying tires such a baffling ordeal. But don't get me wrong, this post isn't meant to denigrate Les Schwab as a company, because I have had good experiences with other branches (including the one I eventually went to to buy tires, which I review separately). First experience going to Les Schwab location. We had an unexpected flat tire a Saturday morning and needed it serviced. We called Les Schwab and asked for a quote. The lady on the phone said it was free. My husband and I thought we misunderstood. Our references were Costco ($15) and another Pepboys ($35). We drove over and indeed it was for free! They accommodated us right away and we sat in the waiting room for about 45 minutes. The gentleman who checked us out gave us a nice lesson about our Subaru tires and was incredibly helpful. I wish I had the opportunity to thank Brandon the store manager in person. I will be back for a new set of tires when I have my snow tires removed! Thank you for making me a happy Beware of tire warranty and replacements policy!! Long time customer and have truly appreciated the service until today. I have a tear on my sidewall of a new snow tire (roughly $300 per tire and 1500 miles) Warranty won't cover it because they feel it's cosmetic. I was told to live with it. The manager wouldn't meet with me. There is an actual tear in the rubber. I went to discount tires just to get a second opinion and they said if I had bought it from them I'd be leaving with a new tire. This is my first problem with Les Schwab. 4 pair of tires in the past and now I'm going back to Discount Tires. Update: 3 hour wait to have my snow tires removed to my regular tires. Was told it would take 1 .5 hours to complete. I was the only person in the waiting area. I decided to wait and work while was there.
