I brought my 2007 mazda 3 in after having issues with another mechanic who kept replacing my master cylinder 4 times, but never took the time to really test it. I took my car to South Park Tire Factory to look into it they replaced the master cylinder and the booster, but after recieving it, I had dragging issues again with the break. Since they are so busy, it took a week before I could get it back in to them. I asked them for this 2nd time aroud to please go through every part, and to drive it all day if they had to, and they took my request seriously, and did exactly just that. One of their mechanics went piece by piece discovered the issue was the pipe fitting of the master cylinder. They are always kind and easy to talk to, and even gave me a ride back to my place after dealing with my car overheating a different time. I knocked off a star becuase it takes a week before I can get it into the shop, and then it takes another week to have it fixed. I would have thought that after I brought it in the 2nd time for the same issue, they could have made it more of a priority due to my frustration of not being able to figure out the issue the first time, and having issues with a different mechanic. This will definitely be my go to my place from now on! read more

If you get your tires here or have service done (and they do all kinds of car repair, short of body work) you can come back for consultation or minor tweaks without being put through the wringer for additional charges. Southpark Tire Factory is top notch. We've had our tires replaced there for a Jetta and Dodge pickup! The tires were great, and the service is stellar. We recently replaced the tires on the Dodge pickup (after 80,000 miles). In addition to terrific deal on the Kelly Safari tires, they confirmed the ABS computer was bad which saved us a $135 service charge at the Dodge dealership. Our Tesla car had a flat tire at Flight Museum. As we were waiting for Tesla Roadside Assistance to respond, which took 40mins, we saw the Tire Factory across the street. At 6pm on a holiday evening, the car mechanic at Tire Factory still decided to help us. We did not even catch his name. He quickly fixed the tire and saved us a ton of hassle especially that we have two toddlers with us. We are so grateful for the Tire Factory! read more

A+ What wonderful people. Local, honest, fast, and generous! I specifically called to hire someone to change my tire because I already had a my own replacement tire. They offered to patch my old tire which had a big nail in it. Not only did they do that but they put it on, adjusted it, and didn't charge me a thing. They didn't have to do that. I came with money and had offered to pay. I definitely will come here anytime I need tires or services and would send anyone I know to South Park Tires. Great honest folks! This place is amazing. I came here for a tire patch when the dealership told me I needed to replace a flat tire rather than repair it. I came here and Jeremy informed me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tire -- something was off kilter and was pressing on the valve, which was letting air out. He knew this within 2 minutes, fixed it within 5. He would not accept any payment. (Honda of Seattle told me it would cost $300 for a tire, recommended I buy 2, $140 for alignment -- and that it was not safe to repair the tire. What a complete joke.) read more

Even though I've been living in Capital Hill and then West Seattle, I go the extra distance to take my car to them whenever there's an issue. They've always been honest and fair with me. They've always been able to diagnose the problems I'm having and fix them without charging an arm and a leg or suggesting a bunch of stuff that I don't need to have done. Went to get in my car and drive to work one morning only to find that a tire was flat. I called around and received the best pricing from South Park, but they wanted me to bring the car in first to see if the tire could simply be patched. Turns out the tire was ruined and they didn't stock the tire I needed (it is somewhat of a specialty tire). They put on a loaner tire so I could get to work, and then had a truck bring the tire I needed in the afternoon. I was not charged any extra fee for the loaner tire, despite the extra work associated. Everything was quick and professional and they won a customer. I have this special little eco battery cell charged Toro lawnmower that has really special batteries...and they are corroded. I open the sucker to see the brand and look up online where i can buy a new one. Should be easy. It really wasn't. Every "dealer" I called said, "Yuasa batteries?? never heard of them, you sure it says I'm a dealer?" "yes" I say, (why the hell would I make this up). Until I called South Park Tire. Thank fricken you know who. Even though they aren't a Yuasa "dealer", guess what? They were able to help me get another brand of the same battery and configuration so it will work with my mower. Bob, I only assume was the manager (because he wasn't covered in grease) was on the phone with his distributors trying to solve my problem. He found it, told me it would be a couple of days. It wasn't even 24hrs when he called me back to tell me it was ready; new wiring and all. I was so thrilled, I even got my oil changed there. $24. Hell yeah. Give them a try before the South Park Bridge closes forever on June 30th. I have no idea how the Hell I will get there after that, maybe the 1st Ave S Bridge? Who knows. *UPDATE* getting a leaky tire repaired at a different shop today and they showed me that South Park tire put all 4 of my tires on inside out. Had no idea there was an inside and outside tread pattern to whisk away water. Make sure they put your tires on correctly! Amazing customer service. Great prices. I work right around the corner and colleagues of mine recommended that I go there to get new tires--so I did! I got 4 new tires for a much better price then Les Schwab. And the customer service is just outstanding. Today I took my gf's car in because her brakes were going out and not only did the mechanic call me to tell me what exactly he was going to do, he also had the car done hours before he said he would. Talk about under promise and over deliver. I will be traveling to Tire Factory in South Park from wherever I live in Seattle, for as long as I live in Seattle. Three years later and I'm giving these guys another huge 5 stars. Just got my 60k service done on my vehicle and was sure it was going to eat up my entire tax return. Was pleasantly surprised when I didn't! I had all the fluids on the vehicle flushed, all the standard service stuff, and breaks done for just over $500. This was when I was quoted at shops elsewhere for $250-$300 for JUST the breaks. Add to that, these guys are just the nicest people you could talk to. I've used South Park Tire Factory for a multitude of services. I think I've been there 6 times over the course of 8 years in 3 different vehicles, for: brakes twice, tires twice, flat tire patch, and single tire replacement. I didn't even know they do oil changes, so I may look into that next. Here are my top reasons for coming back: 1. They DO NOT UPSELL and they don't treat me with less courtesy when I say something like, well... what's a lesser expensive but quality set of tires going to cost? This happened after I thought I might spring for something like Continental Pro Contact Grand Touring, having no idea how costly those tires are period--I just read really good reviews about them. They are very pricey anywhere. I had to backtrack, and they put a pretty nice set on my Camry for um, a quarter of the price. 2. It always costs less than I think it will. 3. They have never fixed anything that didn't need to be fixed. They don't find mysterious 'problems'. 4. They talk direct. 5. They answer the phone with a live human. 6. It's always finished sooner than I think it will be. 7. Though direct and efficient, they are courteous. 8. The very first time I had new tires put on here, it was on a Saturday, and I think it was Owen? who was doing the work, and he let me stand just outside the garage (safely) and watch him go through the entire process of putting on new tires, and he explained what he was doing every step of the way. I learned that I didn't know anything about replacing tires on a car. 9. It's a whole other world to have service done on my car without feeling paranoid about the quality of service and the final cost. 10. I tried to give a tip to one of the fellows who patched up a tire same-day (almost the same hour), and he said, No Way. You choosing our business is enough. 11. They actually want to solve the problem. Going back soon for that oil change. read more

I am forever loyal to these guys! They have unparalleled customer service. Living in South Park, my tires are constantly riddled with nails, which necessitates going to tire factory. Normally I dread working with mechanics because of trust issues, but these guys are SO trustworthy, and truly care about their customers and their experience. I started going here for tires, but take my car here for everything now. I've had brakes done in the past, and felt they were so honest with me about procedure and price (which, by the way, was affordable compared to past brake repair experiences). Horrible knowledge on cars paid 300 just for an axle replacement, and he gave me false information on certain parts I needed just so when I purchased them and brought them to him he just tells me that I could have used my old pieces (got extra pieces for nothing) and overall just wasn't a big help and time and money wasted . They should just stick to changing tires not any type of beneficial help was given just a mechanic taking advantage of his customers. read more

They are so nice and accommodating. I drive all the way to South Park from Capitol Hill to go to the Tire Factory. Today I couldn't figure out how to get the headlight and indicator light changed on my Honda, but they were able to get me in right away and let me bring the lights with me. They put them in for $10.60!!! Can you believe that! I think they made minus money. I was expecting to pay at least $40 because they had to jack the car up and take apart the wheel well to change the bulbs and also had to wait for me to go back to the auto part store because I bought the wrong lightbulb. I Love these folks! Jeremy and Owen have been nothing but honest with me and my car and truck needs! I find oil changes are cheaper, they do check ups for cheap, and are honest about possible future work that may need to happen on the cars. Bonus is they are dog friendly and give biscuits to furry friends. I seriously love these folks, and after bringing vehicles to them for about 6 years, I trust their judgement. When I needed new tires on a work truck, they actually down-sold me for what my work truck needed. I have found them completely trustworthy and sincere on what care my vehicles need and when. Especially when in a crisis that I need my work truck back asap, any company could have overcharged me for a rush job-they didn't. I recommend them to everyone looking for a honest mechanic. They do get booked up, so schedule ahead if possible. For any of the bad reviews of time-lines; any good mechanic is busy, but they do what they can for last minute requests. read more

These guys have provided me with great service and sound advice for years. Today they went above and beyond once again. At 5:00 I found out I had a flat tire. AAA was at my car at 5:15 and had me on the road at 5:30. I called South Park Tire Factory to see if they could fix the tire while I was in the neighborhood. They were ready for me when I got there, fitted me in while they dealt with other vehicles, had my original tire repaired and mounted before 6:00. I went from flat to a complete repair in an hour. I had purchased my tires from them about 18 months ago, so to top it off, they didn't charge me! This is not the first time they have gone above and beyond for me. Received a friendly greeting and very quick service (granted the only other customers there were on their way out). He did not charge me even though I had not purchased my tires there.
