We pulled up to the tire pressure check, parked for roughly 10 minutes with the employees working and walking around. One man stared at us while sitting on a stool playing with his hands and like nails maybe some kind of tool not actually doing anything from what we could tell. No one addressed us, they continued to work on projects we weren't told that it was closed or there was just no communication so we sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone to speak to us and we ended up leaving and going to the Burlington location which has always been extremely helpful which we are on the way to now because they were useless like they actually stood around and like just stared at us no communication whatsoever. Came in for an alignment and tire rotation appointment at 10am. I accidentally left my ID at the front desk. Sat in the lobby for 40 minutes. They end up calling my work instead of telling me my ID was there. Mind you, there were people waiting that the employees walked up to their location to talk about their car. There has been people who came in after me who have left already. I do not own a 4 wheel drive car. I own a 2019 manual car. I'm now the only one who has been here an hour and a half. Keep in mind they do not park on the same side you pull in, and will keep your car unlocked while you're paying for the work. Sad that they didn't even do the full alignment. these folks were awesome! i came off baker lake road with a screw in my tire, crossing my fingers i'd make it to sedro wooley. i managed to get there without any problems and there were literally no other customers so they jacked my car up, tended to the tire, returned the car to me and were totally pleasant and helpful at the start of what could have been a bad day. did i mention my car was chock full of camping gear, cooler and a dog in the back? they rolled (pun not intended) with that as well, letting the dog stay in the back while they worked on the tire. if you're not local to the area and are headed to or from some fun outdoor adventure in the north cascades that has been somehow impacted by a tire or brake issue, i cannot speak highly enough about their prompt attention to my situation and the manner in which it was dealt with. love les schwab!!! read more

RIGHT DIAGNOSIS + NEW TIRE = SAFE AGAIN. THIS SHOP SAVED ME FROM DISASTER. I ended up at Sedro Woolley's Les Schwab after an unforgettable day and a bad experience with another tire company. Problems started suddenly one morning when driving on I-5: severe vibrations shook my car like a T-rex was running after me. When I slowed to in-town driving, I could clearly feel a lump with each rotation of my front-driver tire. I was fearful for my safety, and Discount Tire in Burlington was nearest. Their employee looked it over and blamed "low tread", nothing more (He hadn't removed the tire but no damage was visible). Then he claimed it was safe to drive a few days until their sale when I'd need 4 new tires (5 including a matching spare) due to what he claimed was the "rare size of my current tires". Since I was told it was safe, I left for home & stopped at Les Schwab in Sedro for a 2nd opinion. I described my driving experience thoroughly, and their employee immediately knew the problem: a separation of the internal layered materials, which explained the lack of visible signs on the surface. They hoisted my car to fix & confirm the issue. A single new tire was replaced as the size in stock; I was told definitively that it is NOT a rare size, and that it's stock size/type for MANY compact cars. The employee finished with a final run-through & explained how a separated tire like mine -especially at high speed- WILL burst, aka a "blow-out", leading to collisions, injuries, or worse. He felt it was unethical that I was advised let alone allowed to drive w/such symptoms: they should've swapped in my spare at least, he said. I thanked them profusely for their true expertise. I had only gone to Discount Tire for fear of driving farther, yet I ended up doing just that based on dangerous advice but advice that got me to this Les Schwab! So, there we are. Needless to say, Les Schwab in Sedro has one more lifetime customer. ----------------------- MY EXTRA TIPS: - This "Sedro Woolley" specific location is often MUCH less busy than the Burlington store, so if Burlington's booked or you're in a hurry, come here! - This location is very close to the Burlington shop: less than SIX MILES & only 5mins away. - This store is uniquely located in this small rural town; the money you spend -ie, tax dollars- go to the town and her school districts that serve many underprivileged families. We were driving today with our RV towards Cascades Natl Park and noticed one of our tires was losing pressure. We just passes this Les Schwab location. So we turned back. They fitted us right in and we're able to fix it. There was a nail in. We were back on the road in little over an hour. Super friendly efficient service and on the house. I walked up to the front door a few minutes before opening and they were locked. I understand it was before opening. Two young men were inside so I knocked to get their attention. They both looked at me and then turned and walked away. I have been to other Les Schwab stores early and had them come out to greet me before I even got out of the car. The Burlington store once worked on my vehicle an hour after closing to make sure they got the job done for me. Go to Burlington, it's worth the drive for better service. Staff was friendly that's why I gave it 3 stars but asked an extreme price for 2 tires on my Honda even after explaining my tight budget as a college student and that price wasn't even for an alignment and installation. For the exact same price I got all 4 tires and warranty with installation over at DTS in Burlington. Not unless you have a decent income I would recommend elsewhere but that's just my experience and hope other people's differ. While stopping for gas on our way up to a campsite we noticed low tire pressure and spotted a nail in a tire. On a Saturday out in this part of the state there's not much open so we backtracked a bit to get the tire repaired here. Turns out there were two nails! The repair was complementary given that the tires were originally purchased at a les Schwab, but even if there had been a charge, we were treated well and service was quick. Let me start by say Francisco was great and definitely knows what customer service is all about. This review is more about the manager. This will be the second time I have come to Les Schwab and not been happy with the customer service from the manager. The first time I called in for used trailer tires, I was told they did not have any used trailer tires but did have new ones. I asked if they could put them on as I waited and how long the wait would be. I was told on the phone yes they could put them on and if I showed up immediately there would be no wait. I showed up immediately and was told they did not have any new tires I asked if they had used tires the person behind the desk told me yes they have used tires and he will take a look. Come to think of it that was Francisco he went in the back to look for used tires the manager quickly followed him I went around the backside to see what was going on and the manager was upset that he had told me there was used tires I can only imagine because they cost much less, then the manager proceeded to tell me there were no used tires but I looked with Francisco and found the used tires I was looking for that cost me approximately half as much. I came to less Schwab again to get my tires rotated Francisco again with great customer service told me it would be about an hour wait if I wanted to wait. I told Francisco yes I could wait and went in to make the arrangements in the front. The manager told me he's not gonna do it today because he closes at 6 o'clock I was here at 5:15. He tells me that he still has many more vehicles to do. It's not as much the fact that he cannot rotate the tires for me it's more of the fact of his demeanor and how he acts about it. Not necessarily what you say but how you say it. That is why I'm giving him two stars, not for the tire center the tire center is great the manager really needs customer service classes and or training. Or maybe they should promote Francisco to manager and he could coach teach and mentor the guy acting as manager now. Just a thought. Chris, First: you are not sorry for the way I was treated. You are however sorry that I wrote a review that was non favorable, to say the least. You don't even posses the "attention to detail" required to spell my name correctly, "it is even right on the message".
