I've had two positive experiences at this location and nothing but friendly service. I've been in before for a tire patch, and today for new TPMS sensors (usually I'd go to Costco, but they never answer their phone!!). It took a few hours due to issues with parts getting delivered but I was able to get work done in the waiting area and they waived any fees for labor, which was above and beyond. read more

These guys are great! My wife noticed a flat tire this morning when she was headed out for an appointment. I filled it up but knew it would go flat soon. So I needed someone to patch it right away. I remembered the Big O Tire store on Timberline is just a few blocks from us so I called them and asked if they fix flats and how much is it. The guy said yes and it's $30 and I said Ok my wife will be there in 3 minutes. She got there and the guy fixed it right away and DID NOT CHARGE her for it. Wow! That is GREAT service. Went in to see about truck tires. The guy tried to sell the top of the line. I saod I didn't want to spend that much. He said, well, that's all we have. Asked about ordering...no, inly have one tire that will work. Bull. Went to Discount tire and they can order the one I was looking at. When visiting big tires within five minutes, they told me I needed new tires. When I asked him how much was still covered under warranty because I only had 30,000 on a 70,000 mile tire they disappeared for 45 minutes only to come back to tell me it wouldn't be covered because I did not have my tire rotation done there. I will never buy tires from here again. read more

Avoid this one at all costs. First, I made an appointment online for new tires and installation. I call to make sure they have the tires and can put them on. Turns out they didn't have the tire I ordered (even though my appointment was confirmed with that tire) but they told me they had a similar one in stock for 8$ more a tire. I was fine with that and they sent me a quote for around $700. I arrive today for my appointment and it takes them 30 minutes to change my tires which was nice. They hand me a bill for $1200. They charged me $230 per tire even though I was quoted $158. They apologized and they adjusted the price down to $900. I showed them my online quote for $700 and they said that didn't include the "mount fee." ... even though my email says the $700 was all inclusive. I said thats extremely misleading and that I wasn't going to pay for something that wasn't in the quote they sent me. Sure enough we got the price down to $800 which was still overpaying. Im leaving in a few days for a road trip and I couldn't afford to go anywhere else. I asked if Costco did a "mount fee" and he assured me they did. I called Costco... They do not charge for it. Would have cost me $650 with Costco. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. read more

Total "Bait & Switch", I set an appointment for Big O tire in Loveland, for Saturday, received a phone call from the store Saturday morning saying they did not have the tires in stock and I would have to wait until Monday. Well I work Monday thru Friday, so I really wanted to get the tires done over the weekend. Plus it was a Black Friday promotion $100.00 off, $50.00 mail in rebate, so I wanted to save a few dollars. Called the Big O on Timberline, to see if they had the tires I wanted (again, was trying to get them done on my day off) - said they did not but they could have them Monday. I explained to him, I work Monday and I was hoping to get them done on the weekend and to take advantage of the Black Friday promo. They told me, since the tires were NOT in stock and had to come up from Denver, I would not qualify for the Black Friday sale. But he said they have BFG Goodrich in stock and that he could make me a deal. I like the BFG tires (had them on another truck) and asked him what kind of deal was he talking about. Puts me on hold "says he needs to talk to the manager", comes back on the phone and quotes me $1104. and change. I asked him "tax, license, doc, everything for that?". Which he replied yes. Drove the 35 minutes up to the store, I walk in and then he tells me the tires are going to be $156.00 more than he quote. Total Bait & Switch Company, plus I found out later, just because the tires (that I originally wanted) would have to come up from Denver - I would still get the Black Friday sale. We had a flat fix,rotate and balance done at Big O in Fort Collins on Timberline a few months ago. They would not fix the flat so I ended up with a new tire. No one has touched the tires since. We just had two wheel studs sheer off on one tire. I might chalk it up to coincidence except our daughter just had the same experience. My suggestion, train your mechanics to thread the lug nut on before the use the impact wrench. It would help alleviate cross threading and over torquing. read more

I came in to have them check my tire for a leak and they checked them all and found no leaks and reset my setting for me checked my air pressure on them all at no charge. Went into this shop for brakes and struts, something wasn't right and we went back in. They told us the car was safe to drive, it wasn't. We went to the other Big O on Mason and they took care of us. Thank God this didn't decide to fail at high-speeds when my daughter was in the car. Very rude the guy who they call the master mechanic was very mean and said he didn't need a woman telling him what to do and just for him to take a test drive to see what I was talking about was going to be 150$ cause he was hung over. I will never use big o tires again read more

On August 20th, a Thursday morning, I arrived at Big O Tires located at 2007 Timberline Road without an appointment with my 5th Wheel trailer. I saw there were numerous cars in the bays and in the parking, so I was sure that I would not receive service that day. I was cordially greeted by Tyler Nelson and Calvin Chausee, who were both very professional, courteous, and accommodating. I asked them if it would be possible for them to remove and replace 4 new tires. Without hesitation, they said yes, but they had to check their tire stock. They had only 3 tires that I needed, but immediately called another store and were able to obtain my forth tire. Within 1 1/2 hours, I had 4 new tires on my 5th Wheel trailer. I plan to return to this store for my future tire needs and I also recommend this store to others. Thank you everyone at Big O Tires. read more

I went there to get a diagnosis on what part needs replaced in order to get a proper alignment. Was instead told "you should probably buy a new car" and also said I needed over $4000 in repairs. These repairs included needing to replace my Valve cover gaskets, head gasket, timing cover, rear main seal, etc. Upon further inspection from a different source, none of that was correct. First, I'm not leaking ANY oil. Second, I had my valve cover gaskets replaced less than two weeks ago. Third, I'm losing no coolant whatsoever. Poor customer service from so called "mechanics" trying to take advantage of a female. Would avoid going here. read more

Awesome, honest service. I moved back to Fort Collins from Canada last year. When I took my winter tires to Big O to be installed, I asked them if I needed new tires. Jason looked at both sets of tires (summer and winter) and said that I could probably go at least another season with both sets. No pressure to buy new tires. Winter tires are now on (2018) and I plan on purchasing some all season tires next year. The entire facility is clean; especially the women's bathroom. Coffee is available and the staff keeps you informed about progress on your vehicle. I am not sure what happened to the person who was unable to get an appointment; I had appointments both times I have gone there. Thanks Big O! read more

Pro: good prices, friendly service, nice waiting area. Con: I kept my old tires. Desk had to remind the service tech to put my tires in the vehicle, and I had to remind the desk to take off the tire disposal fee. Got home and was missing 2 valve caps. After my experience at this location, I will never go to Big O again. Extremely poor communication, to the point that I had to over explain my situation to several different people and ended up spending $712 for services that did nothing for my car (only for me to end up needing a Long block replacement from driving it on the highway when it was not okay to drive). After reaching out and explaining my situation, asking to talk to a manager, I never heard back by email or by phone. Instead of telling me they were not equipped to handle my car, they charged me for services that didn't help and sent me on my way. I would have much rather been told to go somewhere else in the first place than have spent unnecessary money and frustration here. I contacted Big O Tires on Timberline looking for help with a slow leak in one of my tires. The gentleman who took my call said I could bring my car right in. He told me that it may take an hour to service the car. After just 45 minutes, a technician said that he found a nail in my tire. He repaired the hole and said that I was good to go. I inquired regarding the fee for service and he said there was no change! The service I received was outstanding. My wife and I will take all of our tire needs to Big O. We're from ND heading to Denver for the holiday to have supper with our daughter.. We were on I-25 S and got a flat tire on the back right wheel. We quickly pulled into a weigh station to put the spare on and searched for the nearest tire store which was Big O Tires in Ft Collins. The serviceman said it could take an hour because all the bays were full. Surprisingly they got it patched and mounted in half the time. They shook our hands and said Happy Thanksgiving! I went in with Nitto Terra Grappler tires. One got stabbed apparently at Target. Who seamed to be the lead guy told me that my Nitto tire was discontinued and all I could do is replace all four. This turned out to be very untrue after I spoke with Nittos alleged customer care. Big O Tire will never see a flipping penny of mine and Nitto likely will not either. Brand new 4runners shouldn't have issues like this. read more
