Inside frosting was pink for a girl and it was delicious!

I got cupcakes from here and every part of the process was perfect. I ordered by email and paid with Zelle. When I picked them up they brought them out to my car and helped pick the best spot! They came out exactly as I had hoped and everyone said they were so moist and delicious! I will definitely think of them in the future if I need anything.

8inch cake suitable for about 20 people. Salted caramel with vanilla buttercream.

Ordered a cake for the first time for my SIL's baby sprinkle. The moistness was perfect! The cake was a salted caramel with vanilla buttercream. Really yummy, will definitely be back for my next order. The only critic I have would be it's a bit too sweet. That was the only takeaway. If not, it was perfect.

This place is incredible! Exceeded my expectations and I will be returning. Lesley's cakes matched the inspiration exactly and the cake not only looked great but tasted amazing !

Our sons baptism cake came out absolutely beautiful! Not only beautiful but it was so delicious! Our whole family could not stop raving about how much they loved it! We will definitely be ordering again! Thank you so much for helping make his day special!

Cannot say enough good things about Lesley's Creative Cakes! Lesley and team did our wedding cake and accompanying desserts, and they were all amazing. I sent over design photos of what we were thinking and they got our vision exactly. The cake itself was the BEST cake we've ever had (snickerdoodle with vanilla buttercream) and a lot of our guests said the same!

Birthday cake for my granddaughter was beautiful and delicious ! They did a wonderful job with the theme.

We were looking for someone to make us a cake for our baby shower and after getting several quotes we decided to go with Lesley's. We are so glad we did! Not only were they reasonably priced, the cake was gorgeous (looked almost exactly like the inspo pic I sent them) and so delicious. We will back!

I will not be going to or referring honestly ANYONE else. Lesley knows what she's doing, and I'm SO honored that I had the privilege of experiencing a cake from her!!! My son just turned 3 today, and his party was last Saturday at an Uptown Jungle. He asked for Spiderman! I wasn't really even sure what a good Spiderman cake would look like, but I had a couple of ideas. The cake was executed perfectly to my specific wishes and just looked spectacular! Lesley listened and delivered with grade A service, and she was so kind and excited about making the cake in general that I had known I made the right choice from the start! I asked for a chocolate cake with peanut butter filling because that's what my son wanted as well, and I'm still finishing the rest of it from my fridge -- and it's still so fresh and delicious!!! Overall, I've never seen/tasted a better birthday cake in person until now, and -- again -- super grateful to have this experience!!! Thank you, Lesley!!!

Lesley, Thank you so much for making such an incredible cake for my baby shower!!! Lesley was incredibly easy to work with and made my rough sketch of a concept into the most beautiful cake. Not only was it absolutely stunning, literally every guest raved about how incredibly moist and delicious the cake was. I have never had a professional cake taste so delicious before. We will definitely be coming back to you for all of our other events. I am so glad I found you to make my "dole whip" cake a reality!!!

    "Sundae" cupcakes

The best of the best ! Came out exactly how I wanted it! They did my daughter's cake and cupcakes last year and it was such a hit by the guests that we booked them again this year!!! Flavor , decoration and clear communication , affordable pricing from owner. Will continue recommending and going for my child's birthday!

We had about two weeks until a birthday and we finally settled on a cake we wanted and the staff at Lesley's Creative Cakes were so helpful about what could be done within their packed schedule. The ordering process was quick and easy and sending the pictures I wanted, the response time was same day. Picking up the cake was easy I just texted and someone met me outside. Our sushi cake came out perfect! The cake and filling were so delicious. We will definitely use them in the future! I would definitely order a few weeks to a month in advance.

We had a baby shower and the cake was beautiful! It was yummy and there were various options for flavor. Highly recommend!

We came at 4:30 and still had more than enough options to choose from. I happened to like frosting and it was fun to see adorable frosting cups although I didn't purchase one. We opted for the tuxedo, pins colada, cinnamon and s'mores cupcakes. The tuxedo was rich and balanced, with smooth chocolate with vanilla frosting that felt classic and satisfying. The Piña Colada was light and tropical, with coconut and pineapple adding a fresh, summery twist. The Cinnamon had a warm, cozy spice--simple, comforting, and perfect with my after dinner coffee. S'mores was sweet and nostalgic, capturing chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker in a fun way. Overall, a great mix of classic and playful. As I said I'm a frosting fan and the frosting was great an my favorite part.

I opted for the Ham and cheese croissant, and the sausage croissant. Both breading was fantastic. Good flavor, airy yet crispy, just really well made. I will definitely come back for the ham and cheese croissant. The sausage croissant wasn't really for me (the bread was) it truly is a big sausage in there. It had good flavor, just isn't for me. If they could make just a plain cheese or bacon and cheese that would hit the spot lol We also got their regular cinnamon roll. The breading had a lovely sweet cinnamon flavor and the icing on top had a delicious creamy taste without being overly sweet. The odd part for us was the filling in the inside. I couldn't decide if I cared for it or not, I was almost feeling it was pushing the sweetness over just a bit so l may or may not get that again. Even tho they have seating inside, it feels more like a grab and go. You can def enjoy your item there. But I wouldn't say a spot where you can sit and catch up with a Friend or read a book. It also felt a bit too warm and stuffy so cranking down the AC a bit would help it feel more inviting especially from coming outside from the Arizona heat. I like to enjoy a warm beverage with my dessert and I couldn't imagine doing it in there. We opted to eat in our car Service was friendly and patient. Whatever else happened during that visit, those cookies were a VERY good introduction to the bakery. I have not actually been into Rise Up Bakery myself, so this review is based entirely on the delightful and delectable cookies I got to try. There was a sugar cookie, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, M&M, and several others. I started by pinching off a little piece of one, then another, and then another. Before long I felt like such a little piggy because I had sampled nearly every cookie in the box. The problem was that every time I tried a new one, it was just as good, if not better, than the one before it. I kept thinking I had found my favorite, only to change my mind with the next bite. And these cookies were BIG hoggers too, probably around 6 inches across. These are not little dainty cookies you mindlessly nibble on. They have some size to them, and thankfully the flavor matches. So while I can't review the bakery itself, the atmosphere, or the service just yet, I can absolutely review the cookies. Based on those alone, Rise Up Bakery has definitely gotten my attention. Four stars for now, and mostly because I feel like I need to actually visit the bakery before handing over the fifth.

The food is legitimately really good, always piping hot, delicious, and their coffee is excellent. But man... it is getting harder and harder to ignore the fact that this place desperately wants to be Scottsdale without actually being in Scottsdale. There is a level of pretentiousness walking through here that deserves its own parking space. People are not just coming in for breakfast they are coming in to be perceived. I am half expecting someone to walk in and announce, "Sorry I am late, my personal brand meeting ran long." And the gym clothes... THE GYM CLOTHES. I work out too. I just do not feel the need to wear my workout clothes everywhere like I am on my way to the Olympics. Meanwhile, people are walking around here dressed like they just completed a 90-minute HIIT class, despite the fact that their biggest athletic accomplishment today was finding a parking spot. And listen, I am all for confidence. Wear what you want. But some things should remain between you, your mirror, and your close friends. Not all body part's you own need to make a public appearance. At this point, their burritos are more covered up than some of the customers. Their dress code is now: Athleisure + confidence + absolutely no fear of exposing an entire area of their body. Anyway... back to why we are actually here: THE FOOD. It's fantastic. Always hot, always delicious, and the coffee never disappoints. That is what keeps bringing us back. But if they start reserving more of the already-limited seating for the Scottsdale Influencer Association, I may have to draw the line and take my business elsewhere. I came for a burrito--not a live-action audition for Real Housewives of Gilbert. Great food. Great coffee. Just please keep the Scottsdale cosplay, reserved-table nonsense, and unsolicited anatomy exhibits to a minimum.

The design we discussed and were shown was a spatula-lined, ripple-style cake with a true ombré effect, starting with a rich plum at the bottom and gradually fading through soft shades of purple into white at the top. What we received did not reflect that vision. The cake was a very dark plum throughout, the finish looked uneven, and the ombré effect was not present. My husband immediately noticed that it wasn't what we had asked for, and it was honestly upsetting to see something so different from what we expected. That said, the flavor was absolutely delicious and truly the saving grace. We chose a more unconventional flavor combination of lemon cake with blueberry compote, and it tasted incredible. Many of our guests commented on how good it was. While the cake tasted wonderful, the visual execution did not align with what was requested or shown during the design process.
