He failed to follow through on his statement he would make it right. I completed a online order for a cake. The website indicated that I would get reward points for my order. I ask via online chat and was told I would get points by using my receipt. That didn't happen. I sent an email to corporate and got a response from Pam, who stated I would not get my points. Where to begin...I just love NBC! I've never once had a bad experience. I love coming here whenever I have a sweet tooth or in need of a delicious birthday cake. Although a chain bakery, you'd never think it was! The small establishment offers such a cute & quaint look with their selection of boutique like merchandise & adorable decor. They offer a selection of 3 different sized cakes- 8", 10" & 2 tier. Also offered are their individually sized bundlets & mini bundtinis. Cakes can be decorated & wrapped in cellophane which adds the perfect touch to any celebration cake! They offer a variety of flavors from classics flavors to fun & fruity. Sadly, this should be a 5-star review, but I can't. While the customer service was well above-average and the quality of the product was excellent as always, my pick up order was ready an hour late, for which I stood in the store for 20 minutes. I am pretty sure the people in back started my order after the person in the front went to get my order. When she returned, she stated "it was almost ready." As I waited, I saw 6 people come in to pick up orders who were in and out in 5 minutes. I also saw 2 Door Dash orders ready and picked up, so I learned that I should have Door Dashed my order if I wanted it on time. I am disappointed that nothing was done to "make it right" - just an apology or acknowledgement that was not ok - even after I contacted them via their website with some feedback. As my grandmother would say, "someone is too big for their britches" with the recent opening of new location. It just bums me out because they have been awesome for so long and it feels like they may have jumped the proverbial shark. read more

This place has been around a long time and I only first tried it a few weeks ago. I was going to a party and needed to bring something sweet. I didn't realize they have more than just large bundt cakes! They have mini cakes, and cupcakes they call buntinis. They come in a variety of flavors and some seasonal flavors as well. I placed an order online at 3:15pm and it gave me the earliest option to pick up same day at 4pm. And it was not a quick order. Tiered cake, both cakes with drizzle frosting. I was about 15 minutes late but it was brought out quickly. Here's what I love about NBC...they are quick, their cakes are pretty and easy to dress up if you want more pizazz, and they are consistent in flavor and texture. Not impressed with the shrinkage of product and the reasoning I was given by 2 store employees is that the cake bakers don't want the frosting to hit the top of the container. Stupid nonsensical reason and dumbest excuse I've ever heard. A good way to lose business and customers for sure. I purchased a bundlet earlier this afternoon excited to try the lemon blueberry flavor of the month that only contained about 3/4 of the container filled with cake. I have been purchasing nothing bundt cake bundlets since 2012. Every bundtlet I've ever purchased, with the exception of today's purchase, has had the entire container filled almost to the very top with cake and frosting hitting the top of the container. The inside of the plastic cake container even has a significant amount of empty space because the cake has been noticeably reduced in size. Shameful and ridiculous! Over the past 5-6 years; the flavor options and varieties have really gone downhill, the cake itself is not as moist, many of the bundlets I've purchased over the past several years have been dry and bland that I ended up throwing out. Nothing Bundt cakes has not only increased their prices but the quality of their cakes have steadily gone downhill. The employees at this location come across inept and a bit unprofessional and have no idea how to answer simple questions from customers. So the fact that no one at this location can legitimately explain why their cakes have shrunk and decreased in size, while the cost of their cakes have increased is a joke! This is the nail in the coffin for me.. I won't be returning to nothing bundt cakes and will be taking my business elsewhere to other far superior bakeries and cakeries who don't increase their prices on subpar products, know how to bake cakes better, aren't stingy with the amount of cake they make for customers and have better flavor options and ingredients that actually taste outstanding producing very most and delicious cakes. Do better nothing Bundt cakes! Your cake products are subpar at best and you are starting to look like crumbl cookie 2.0 and Krispy Kreme donuts who expanded too quickly and ended up having to close down a ton of stores due to less demand of their products. read more

The bundt is always marvelous. The last time I went just recently, the store was crowded and a lot of customers were coming and going. The parking lot was a bit dangerous. I miss the samples they had in the back because they would sometimes have a special flavor I hadn't tried. I bought the special pumpkin flavor and it was good. I liked that it was unique. I get bored of the standard ones now. The strawberry and cream actually reminds me of captain crunch cereal. The white chocolate raspberry is very sweet. I don't find there to be too much unique about the red velvet or the chocolate or the marble. I also got a cinnamon which was a bit plain for me as well. Literally can not go wrong with a bundt cake from NBC! This location is well stocked, clean and friendly. I personally don't understand how people can need "extra frosting" as I feel these are on the heavier frosted side. The great thing about these is I can just scrap off the frosting. I had heard about Nothing Bundt Cakes from some of my neighbors. I actually got to try it when it was my neighbor's birthday. I had a red velvet Bundt cake and I thought it was delicious and was surprised at how moist the cake batter was. I tried to make a mental note that for my birthday, I would order a dozen. That way I could share amongst my neighbors, friends, and family. This year, the ordering process was very easy. I placed my order to the Gilbert location ahead of time. I got to choose my flavors, I ordered the funfetti, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate. All with vanilla frosting. I ordered the birthday, pom-pom, mini Bundt cakes. They're actually called Budhini's because they're the small ones. Because it was my birthday, I also got to redeem a free, regular size one. My son chose the Oreo. I thought they were delicious. The batter wasn't as moist as I remember. We did keep them in the refrigerator so maybe that's why. I wasn't a huge fan of the frosting. I'm not a lover of cream cheese frosting and I think that's what it was. I thought the Oreo, one that I got for free, for my birthday was the best one out of all of them. Otherwise I would say I really liked the birthday cake flavor. Overall, it was a great experience ordering from them. I also got the date wrong and they called me on the day I was supposed to come in and they said it was totally fine and that I could just come in the next day. I really appreciated that great customer service. I hear there is a rumor that Nothing Bundt Cakes will be coming to the Queen Creek area!
