The installation was quick, neat and attractive. About a month or two later, some of the insultation foam started to ooze out. Pelican responded immediately and remedied the problem. Based on this experience, I contracted with Pelican earlier this year to replace the remainder of my windows and all my sliding doors. The contracting process was smooth and the windows were ready in about four weeks. When it came time to install, Pelican arrived on time with four people. Every day of the installation (six total), there were at least four workers present. As before, they were neat, efficient and quick. Evan Wright, the owner, stopped by three times to make sure work was progressing appropriately. He even spent most of one day at the house supervision installation of a segmented kitchen bay window, which was tricky given the design and the existing granite countertop. While all of the crew members were great, Jorge, the boss was wonderful. He made sure to solicit our input as needed and kept us fully advised. I have recommended Pelican to others and they have reported the same experience. Pelican has my unqualified recommendation.

On a prior arranged date, Dave arrived on time, gave us estimate as how long the job will take. My boss is always hates the noise, so we left and after three hours the job was done to our satisfaction. Dave was courteous, and did a great job (thank you, Dave). One thing should be improved is the communications with the customers. First we have to wait for the quote (I had to ask Mike,where it's), then after sending deposit almost a week past, still we don't know status, again text to Mike, now we know the reason and when it will be done. Otherwise we recommend J & H, local small business, but please keep customers in the loop.

The whole process went smoothly, Kevin was very friendly and easy to work with; he provided the most information on what type of windows to get for our situation. He was very responsive and answered any questions we had. They also had very reasonable prices and detailed quotes. My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. It's been about a year and the windows still look great and work well (they're also much easier to slide open than our old windows). I would definitely recommend them!
