I'm sharing this review to help others make informed decisions. Leslie Shower Enclosers installed a frameless glass shower door in my home in 2021. Within 2.5 years, the top hinge began failing, screws were visibly pulling out from the wall plate, and the door started hitting the adjacent glass panel. I reported the issue while the hinge was still under the manufacturer's 3-year warranty. Instead of replacing it, the installer adjusted the glass position and left the clearly failing hinge untouched. A year later, now 7 months past the warranty period, the same issue occurred again. I contacted the installer with updated photos, measurements, and the original quote, which he no longer had on file. He acknowledged the hinge should be replaced but said it would now cost me $150 since the warranty had expired, even though I had reported the problem well before it did. After reviewing the original quote from the manufacturer, I discovered that the hinges installed were not the ones listed in the approved order. They were a different model entirely. This likely explains why he had no record of the order, why the hinge wasn't under warranty, and why it failed prematurely. It also explains why he already had a matching replacement hinge in his possession, as seen in a photo he texted me. When I asked why the hinge hadn't been replaced within the warranty period, his response was: "Frankly, I don't feel the vibe to assist anymore." I replied: "I was simply looking for some clarification before paying for the replacement. I was having trouble understanding your previous message. There was no animosity intended." I received no response. When I followed up again to express my safety concerns and disappointment, I was told: "Bye for good." That was the last communication. I was never rude or confrontational, just a customer trying to get a clearly defective hinge addressed. Now I'm stuck hiring another contractor to replace it, and I'm left feeling taken advantage of. This is a heavy glass panel, if it falls, it could cause serious harm. I truly wanted to support a small business and give the benefit of the doubt, but I would not recommend Steve's business based on my experience. read more

Steve is a master of all things glass. His main expertise is in complex shower enclosures but he did a phenomenal job replacing windows and fixing two stained glass windows. No one else we contacted was able to do it. We had a broken window from an errant golf ball. I used the Yelp app to bid for quotes and it automatically sent one to him. Steve was very responsive and professional from the beginning. We had three windows that had broken and he was able to come quickly and give a fair quote. He has over 20 years of experience working with shower enclosure and glass. The real magic came in the repair of the stained glass windows. These windows came with the house originally and were cracked. Replacement is ridiculously expensive. Steve was able to remove the old glass and rebound the two panels around the paneling to reseal the stained glass. This seems like a very simple thing but it is not. He brought his work station and did the work in the back yard so that we did not have to go with an empty window. His pricing was fair and reasonable and he did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend him for all things glass - shower enclosures, broken windows, or other glass work in the home. read more

If you want to hire a contractor who does things by the book, Steve is your guy! He is an old-school contractor that is very detailed-oriented. He takes his time and makes sure the job is right, even if it takes a couple of times to do so. Case in point: Steve and his helper installed a new 3/8-inch tempered glass semi-frameless shower door in our 2006 Lennar-built home on 11/24/2021. After the initial install, the new shower door top hinge sagged ever so slightly, causing the new shower door to rub the outer lip of the shower pan. A simple video text of what was going on, and Steve promised to return to fix it at 8:30 a.m. ON THANKSGIVING DAY! As promised, he returned nearly 10 minutes early Thanksgiving morning and tightened the top hinge. He stated, "If it sags again, let me know, and I'll replace the hinges." Now mind you, these are C.R. Laurence hinges (standard in the shower door industry) and are plenty strong as is. His willingness to come over on a holiday at no charge to us and replace parts he already installed shows the level of care Steve has for his customers and profession. We give him credit where credit is due. Installing a new shower door into an existing shower is no small feat and often takes patience and working with the contractor to get it right and the way you imagined it would be. My new home had a shower enclosure door which was difficult to open because it wasn't mounted squarely in the frame. Other vendors wouldn't touch the door and quoted me to replace the entire enclosure, starting at $1,000+.
