*BUYER BEWARE* THEY SELL YOU A TUB BUT DO NOT SERVICE IT COMPETENTLY…read more I spent approximately $13,000 on a Wellis hot tub from Big Star Backyards. About 3 1/2 years later (still under warranty), it developed what was initially a relatively minor leak. That was the beginning of what has now become a six-month ordeal. Since February, I've endured multiple paid service visits, repeated repair attempts, months of downtime, and countless emails and phone calls coordinating repairs with both Big Star Backyards and Wellis. Despite all of that, the leak has progressively worsened rather than improved. The most frustrating part is that what began as a slow leak has now become a spa that can lose nearly all of its water within approximately 24 hours after being refilled. Throughout this process, I've done everything asked of me. I've coordinated appointments, rearranged travel, filled the spa when requested, taken videos documenting the leaks for the technician, and remained patient while waiting weeks for parts to arrive. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, I still do not have a functioning hot tub. Rather than taking ownership of why repeated repairs have failed, the conversation has increasingly shifted toward my water chemistry--even though the spa is still under warranty, the water was balanced immediately after repairs, there were no guests using the spa, and it leaked nearly empty immediately after being refilled. That explanation simply does not align with what actually occurred.

In a routine conversation with someone named Michelle regarding service she was rude and hung up on me. I called back and she did not apologize for hanging up or for her unprofessional attitude towards me. I let her know that she should go fuck herself for her behavior and that I would never do business with them again. Then I received a message saying that I was banned from their business. Fair enough. No courtesy or professional response from a company I've spent more than $10k at in the past 4 years. She needs to be fired.

In my opinion one of the most unprofessional companies I ever dealt with…read more I called them a few weeks ago to do some modifications in my pool equipment. They sent a professional to my house and later gave me a quote. I accepted the quote and after that.... Radio Silence. After a few days I called them and they said they would send someone that Thursday. Well...No one showed up. I call again, and this time, it's rescheduled to Friday. Friday comes, a guy shows up almost at 5PM. I could imediately see he was not prepared to work on what was agreed on the quote. And sure enough....He has no idea what needs to be done, never been briefed on what is needed and after looking at my pool hardware, of course, tells me he has no equipment needed to work on my pool. Reschedules for next Tuesday, which is today. Yep... You guessed it..... No one showed up again. No calls, no texts, crickets... Don't bother because I don't want to work with you anymore. I'll find another company. I'm done. Thankfully haven't spent any money on this company, but my wasted time, I will never get back, sadly. Stay away, that's my advice.

Beware.... If you…read moreare considering using Poolwerx for your equipment needs or "fixes"...... I've been a customer for couple years with their pool cleaning service side - thus I decided to use them for my pool equipment needs... sloppy work - untimely delivery - and show up times are at their discretion and not consistent I've never been so disappointed and frustrated over service and installation matters I purchased three (3) pieces of equipment: New filtration system, New Variable speed pump and New salt cell system - this is a lot of money spent, on top of that is installation pricing, averages $500 per piece = total of $1500 - ridiculous you would think with my purchase of all new equipment that my installation needs would have been a source of focus and client satisfaction The installation of the salt cell system has been a bad experience- the pics don't lie The tech spilt blue pvc glue on my concrete equipment pad - left and didn't clean it up The business hours are 9am - 4pm Mon - Friday- good luck with having any issues addressed before or after these times, even if it's at the fault of company's employees I communicated my dissatisfaction via phone and texts - Consumer beware UPDATE- after several years I have chosen to severe services for pool cleaning, equipment maintenance and potential new purchases with this company. Customer satisfaction matters and is always key, thus Customer retention. Albeit the job is done now, to get there should not have required so much negative energy and frustration. It's not worth it UPDATE - I see Seon the owner responded, Bent over backwards? This time? Hey - for a client to leave overall, you think your viewpoint is true? You have a negative loss of $3600 annual +|- pool cleaning services - present/future income, plus future pool equipment/install fees - I suspect this won't happen again and that's a good thing. Too bad this learning experience for your business was at my expense and frustration Maybe you should have called me? Yes - you should have called me - texting while "preferred" is a form of communication that sucks, talking with a client lends clarity as to matters - PS - don't charge for a job not fully done and when no verbal or written authorization is granted

I was compelled to…read morefollow-up on my previous high marks after our project foreman, Robert, went way above and beyond to fix multiple post-freeze issues that completely shut down our beautiful new pool. The loss of power for almost a full week literally transformed our pool into an ice rink, while the expanding ice in our pipes and equipment took its toll. Despite TP&P's dramatic volume of repair calls after the recent historic winter storm, Robert came out to our house personally to inspect the damage, then within days, he and his team were on site. Within another couple of days, Robert had our pool up and running, even while we're awaiting a replacement for our cracked UV system. I also wanted to mention that we were very lucky to have Michael & Tina as our TP&P sales pros. They maintained great communication throughout and the few minor issues that came up were handled with care and efficiency. They actually took the time to personally come by our home often, ensuring everything was going smoothly and that we were happy and our expectations were being met. In closing, I just want to again give my sincere thanks to Robert for rescuing and resuscitating our beautiful TP&P pool after such a stressful winter weather ordeal.

Despite repeated attempts to resolve the serious issues -- including structural cracks, leaking, tile hazards, and damage to surrounding landscaping -- I've been met with delays, deflection, and blame-shifting. They don't bother to return call, respond in a timely manner and when I gave them a heads up that I will be publishing this video, they had the audacity to say that they will NOT be "extorted". But whatever they do in within the rights and outside their control. DOUBLE STANDARDS That they have a lawyer on their team to respond is a clear indication that they have done things wrong and hiding behind legal language etc. to run away from their responsibilities. The conveniently say they have put the claim to the insurer and they are waiting on them when they promised lifetime guarantee during their sales pitch which since then they have back tracked on. LIARS LIARS to the core This video documents: https://youtu.be/kjhQ_0ZdL7M The damages caused by Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) Ongoing leaks and dangerous conditions The builder's failure to honor their promises A timeline of my communication efforts The emotional and financial impact this has had on my family As a consumer, I have the right to share my honest experience -- not as a threat, but as a warning to others. Two companies were "all set to start"... and then never showed up. Both had great reviews and even better excuses--none of which came with an actual follow-up. Another company did a nice job, but the price was so high we felt like we were financing a small yacht. Then we found Bearded Phool, and every week our cowboy pool and spa are sparkling like they're auditioning for a magazine cover. Their communication is fantastic--photos, a weekly report, and if I ever have a question, my texts or calls are returned immediately. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the quality of service is truly perfect. Thank you!!!
