I contacted and met with quite a few pool companies. When Dave at SunSpot came out to assess our backyard, we felt confident that he and his crew could handle the task. He also built a beautiful retaining wall, required due to the grade of the yard, which ran along one side of the pool. Our saltwater pool turned out beautiful and we highly recommend SunSpot Pool for a pool installation. Their staff was also very helpful in walking me through how to use the equipment, proper maintenance, etc. We unfortunately were relocated this past year and miss our backyard oasis that SunSpot created.

So, what's your two-star beef, lady? I swim long distances. I prefer deeper lanes for cooler water temperature and less turbulence. In order to ensure that I will procure my preferred lanes, I check the Aquatics Department's calendar and schedule my swims when the calendar states that 10 lanes will be available for lap swimming. A month ago, I was asked to vacate my lane and squeeze into one of the 5 shallow lanes in order to make room for a community swim team that had reserved the deeper lanes for their practice. Check my math here, but I think the calendar should have reflected that only 5 lanes were available at the time of the reservation. (As a side note, why does the team's reservation (or revenue) trump my monthly membership fee?). I left the Aquatics director a message to this effect. No call back. Fool me once. The same thing happened again today. Fool me twice, shame on me. There will be no third time. I've already cancelled my membership, as I indicated that I would in my message for the Aquatics Director. I will join a facility that values my time, schedule, and membership, in part, by keeping an accurate calendar. However, if you are ok with this type of shoddy operations' management, UC Rec is a fabulous place.

The installation team work efficiently and in one day we went from a covered, closed pool, to a new liner and open pool. Just in time for 90 plus temperatures. We have always purchased our chemicals from Rileys and are happy with our decision to have them install our new liner. I would recommend them for any of your pool needs.

After they installed our pool a few weeks later, we got a crack in a valve call Frank he says call service department so I did I live 45 to 50 minutes away from the Cincinnati store and 10 minutes away from Eastgate talk to the service department Anna very rude told me it probably cracked because we did not close it correctly and it was the summer, so why did it crack? We open our pool again this year and the is cracked had to go buy one. It cost $50 thought I would call they want me to bring it all the way back down to their store. Ridiculous. Go by Eastgate pools much better.
