We were sorry to read the comments about Queen City Pools, however we too had difficulty getting in touch with them when needed. The serviceman that took care of our pool was Trent. He came when expected, took care of all nesessary procedures, was respectful of our property and of us. We scheduled Trent to Close our pool this fall. Other than the communication problem, they do a good job. They need to work on that, it is a very important part of a going business. read more

I was hesitant to write this review because I was very fond of Blake and the service he provided but unfortunately things took a turn for the worst. When my wife and I first purchased our home Queen City Pools (QCP) was able to help us get our pool up and running the summer of 2020. They came when we called and booked a service and even texted us a few times to make sure everything was okay. In the fall of 2021 we contacted QCP to close our pools and they did without any issue but I noticed they did not send us an invoice for the closing. We didn't think anything of it, we even called and requested the invoice and no one responded. Fast forward to the beginning of May of 2022, we called and scheduled QCP to open the pool, the admin put us on the schedule for a Tuesday and they didn't show up. We gave them a few days and they still didn't show up. So I followed up that Friday with the admin and she assured me that Blake and his crew would be there the following week and they still didn't show up. So my wife and I reached out to another company for them to open the pool and when they showed up, they quickly discovered that QCP broke a pipe on the valve and did some damage to the pool pump- hence the reason why QCP didn't charge me for the closing the fall of 2021. So we spent thousands of dollars to get a new pool pump and had new pool company fix the issue with the valves. Once the pool was opened my wife and I agreed to reach out to Blake a few weeks later and have them clean and add the proper chemicals to the pools, the admin strangely told me to text the number that I called and detail what was needed and someone would get back to me, so I hung up the phone and immediately sent over my request, that was on July 5th and till this day I still have not heard back from them. It almost as if they knew they broke my pump and have been avoiding me ever since. Truth be told when I contacted QCP about cleaning the pool I wasn't even going to bring that up because we wanted to give them another chance but their lack of communication and accountability resulted in me writing this review. We started using Queen City PoolPros in the spring of 2020. Blake was young but seemed to know his business. We had never had a pool before so were very reliant on Blake's advice. If I left a message on his cell he would often call back and tell me what to do in order to save the cost of a business call. We also liked the fact that this was a young guy trying to get his business off the ground and we were one of his first customers . We told Blake in the fall that we had to get a new pool liner(soooo expensive, gorgeous work) so that team would just open the pool when it was completed and filled. Otherwise, Blake would 100% be our pool guy .Blake expressed understanding and didn't seem upset. I called him after the liner team opened the pool and got no response I sent a detailed text- just the sounds of silence. Called the office and spoke to a receptionist. Guess what happened ???? Not a word of response. My feelings are hurt because we stayed Loyal to Blake when he was starting out and now he has treated us like nothing. I read another review and pretty much the same thing happened to them. If Blake was too busy now then send out a form letter communicAting that. If we forget to pay a bill, etc just send a text and we will fix it immediately. But this is so wrong and unprofessional.
