Simple review 1. Over priced chemicals. Seriously. You can buy the same chemicals online(same percentage of chlorine strength wise) way cheaper. 2. Pool cleaner parts. I have a mx-8 barracuda which recently broke on me after two years and the factory parts are insanely expensive at Leslie's. again buy factory parts online. Half the price online even with shipping. 3. Service. It's pretty decent. Young girl that works there is very nice and polite. Younger tall dark skinned dude is cool. Seems like a typical salesmen but cool. 3 stars for that. 4.Chemical testing service. Personally I like it. They do alot of tests and I never had a issue with them selling me something I didn't need. They may suggest it but don't push it. Plus before I take it to them I test it myself with a kit I have at the house(not your usual cheapie Walmart kit) Bottom line. If you need something in a pinch and can't wait for it. Go to Leslie's. you basically paying for convenience. I understand its a business and they are there to make a profit and solve people's problems. But charge accordingly. Not asking for dirt cheap but fair prices. Side note New pool owners it's expensive to start your pool especially when theres large amounts of algae. So don't be surprise when you drop 200- 300 dollars to get it crystal clear. Originally I bought my first pop from Leslie's pool supply company paid $2200 for it to have it installed along with the warranty. Well this is how the warranty works. My original pool pump lasted almost 18 years before it finally gave out so I bought this new one from Leslie's within 2 1/2 years. It went out they replaced it then the replacement went out then replaced it again then the next replacement went out currently they are not taking responsibility for any of this. They're saying the warranty ran out when they replaced the last pool pump I found out through Hayward who produced this unit that they replaced my broken pool pump with a 2021 pool pump claimed they sitting in the warehouse well it lasted exactly one year. My pool pump no longer works. They refuse to take responsibility for it and the repair guy was extremely rude with me. Completely dismissed me over the phone. Supposed to call me back. Never did I would not buy anything from Leslie's's pool supplies, Fairfield Vacaville anywhere if this is how they do business. Now I have to go buy another pool pump and pay for it myself. I go regularly to test my water but today I went to find something to get rid of a rust stain from a sinker type pool toy that went in the deep end. We just plastered about 4 months ago and I was worried. They had a tool called 'Erase It' for $15 and with some elbow grease it worked. I was so relieved. I wish I could acknowledge the gentleman that helped me but he didn't have a nametag. Some Items I don't buy from them because their prices tend to be steep but when you're in a bind they do the trick. The employee also suggested to get stain a scale prevent but I had to ask how much it was because they typically up-sell you without telling you what it will cost. read more

Went in today around 230; worst customer service ever! The guy did welcome Us and we were the only people there but he went on to keep putting stuff on the shelves, took forever to answer a basic question of whether or not there were filter cartridges in stock, never once just came to talk and answer a question. We left, despite it appearing there were cartridges that could have fit. I have never had this bad of a customer service experience there, they are a good place to go if you need something right now, but a little pricey because of that. However, I'm never gonna go back to this store because of that. That attitude does not deserve my business. read more

Mohammed is really nice and will usually point you in the right direction. Be ready to be sold a ton of chemicals you make need or not need. The won't admit that alkalinity up is just baking soda and is 1/3 the price online. Free water testing is nice. Everything in the store is marked up 30%. Best to buy all the stuff you need online but they have been helpful finding some rare spa jets for me. If it's summer there will be a wait. Just drop the test water off and go get a coffee. read more

SKIP THIS PLACE AND BUY FROM an online store... This store always has high prices but it's convenient so it used to be worth the extra cost.... Now, adding to that complaint, they're about 50/50 on rude employees. They're often out of stock for whatever it is I'm needing that day. Plus, I was in here yesterday for about 5 minutes before some guy from the back finally awoke and came to help me. He apologized. It was weird being all alone in there, I almost thought I'd have to leave without paying, it was seriously 5 minutes before he woke up. Today, in a pinch, willing to pay extra, I went in to buy some spa wall cleaner at 5:54 pm.... The doors are locked and the lights are off. So messed up, you're supposed to be there until 6:00... Why don't you just change your hours to show that you actually close at 545? Or was it 530 today? You know, some of us work until 5 and can't get to your store until 554pm.... which is why you're supposed to be open until 6. When I was younger store employees used to be able to pull this lie and say their clock showed whatever made up time they wanted it to show (so they could open late and close early)..... But, now, we all have phones with gps atomic clock based times on them.... We all know exactly what time it is now.... Your leaving early really messes things up for your customers, I hope this review finds people well and let's them know that they'd be better served buying online rather than going here, unless they like paying 40 percent extra, dealing with sometimes unhappy people, and that's only if this store decides to be open with awake employees at the time.... Good luck. You don't care, I know, but you've lost me as a customer, so many stores are losing costumers because of this kind of thing, it's sad, I'm sure in my lifetime brick and mortar stores will be a relic from the past. Their customer service sucks! My elderly husband went in today to buy salt for our pool, a relatively heavy bag. The employee told him to pick it up off the floor and put on the counter. When questioned why by my husband, the clerk said he has to scan it on the counter and my husband had to put it up there. The clerk wouldn't put it up there because he said 'you have to put it up there yourself because I can't remember everything like Mohammed does'. What kind of rude comment is that!!! Overpriced products. Customer service here needs work. They don't seem interested in your business. I've only experienced one employee with my contact here, so maybe it's just this one guy. My Husband took in our old spa pump one morning looking to get it replaced installed. He was told they would call with an estimate. At the end of the day, no call. He called and was told "we were really busy with 5 sweeps and didn't have time". He was told they'd call the following morning. Needless to say, by late morning, no call, so I called. I was told they were "really busy", and they would call me back shortly with an estimate. By the afternoon, we decided to just forget it, so I drive back to the store to pick up the old pump. As I walked in the store, the guy behind the counter (let's just call him Mo) was looking in a catalog. I told him who I was, he said "Oh, I just called you with your estimate, we've been really busy we had 5 sweeps". (Does that sound familiar from the other day?). Mind you, when I walked in, there was nobody else in there, except the other employee playing hoops with a bball set on display, and this guy standing looking through a catalog for my estimate. He THEN tells me the price ($425), and I ask when they could install it. He decides at this point to tell me "oh, we don't do installs on above ground spas", but says to let him know if I want to order the pump. I left and called a local pool company for a quote...same pump? $211. Install? $180 tops for 2 hours of labor. Got the estimate via email within a couple of hours. SO GLAD we didn't order through Leslie's! Went back this week because I needed a new filter, and nobody else close by had them. I also figured maybe the one experience was an anomaly. Nope. Store completely empty again, besides the same guy behind the counter. Zero acknowledgement when you walk in, and by asking questions you are basically left feeling you are disturbing him. I bought my items and left. With the amount of $ these supplies cost here, it'd be nice to be thanked or wished a good day. Nope. Nothing. We won't go back. I've had GREAT experiences with Leslie's in Pleasant Hill, and online from other companies. In the future, we'll go those places and skip this one. read more

Just moved to Fairfield and our new home has a pool. I went to Leslie's to get set up with supplies and some education on maintaining my pool. We got our water tested weekly and followed the instructions clearly. Our pool was perfect and the info Leslie's gave us helped a lot. Then our pump went out and we replaced everything through Leslies. That's where everything went south. The initial inspection of our equipment gave us a list. And then later much more was added. unexpected cost sometimes comes up. However we were upset when things that were working before the inspection broke immediately after. Then the gentleman that did the inspection came back to perform the service upgrade and he was possibly the worst ever. Rude, in a rush, and had no interest in completing the project. What was schedule for 1 day was stretched into 3 visits and 1 month to complete. 2/10 for service. Our pool works now. Service sucked. And it cost a fortune. read more

Don't get ripped off by those thief's, we bought a close to $3000.00 dollars in less then a month from these crooks. this evening we returned a pool vacuum we bought 3 days ago, with a receipt, in a close box that never been open and 15% in extortion restocking fee mounted to 80+ dollars was stolen from us by their sales lady. Please buy on line and save yourself lots of money. They are way to expansive, everything they have is 40% to 70% more than online, Walmart, Lowes or home depot. Example Muriatic Acid 10.99 at Walmart, Lowes or home depot 17.99 at the thief's at leslie's. Stay away and save your money and dignity. read more

Do NOT SHOP here!! Over priced chemicals. But that's one thing, I bought a new pool pump for them. Thought I was getting a deal since they offered free install. Well took them a week and a half to get to my house and when they finally did, the installer said they didn't sell me the right pump because I didn't have the right voltage!!! So he left and didn't even open up the panel. Me being an electrician, I opened the panel and I find that I did have the right voltage. He was just too lazy to check. And then everyone at the store had attitude because I wanted to return the pump.. do not shop here! Service guy sucks! read more

If I could put no stars I would've, I recently visited this store. It was very clean and well organized and started off great, but as soon as I actually started talking to the woman at the register it went downhill from there. I was there with my husband and my daughter and she's 1 1/2 and starting her terrible 2's early, she was restless and ready for a nap and was running around the store and I was behind her following her trying to keep her calm while my husband looked for a net. Upon her running the lady from behind the counter said "I would be careful with her running there's a lot of chemicals on the floor" which was no big deal so I grabbed her hand and continued walking then the woman proceeded to say " you need to hold your daughter" meaning that she couldn't walk. Which was VERY rude. And I will not be coming inside again. I'm not sure if you have children or not but the way she had addressed me and my family I felt VERY DISRESPECTED. You should learn how to talk to your customers. Very poor customer service. read more

They are very polite and attentive. 3 stars because they're chlorine isn't as concentrated as Demoray pool supply so I have to go to Vacaville for such product.
