I cannot recommend this company (primarily their personnel) highly enough. After several phone calls and am at home visit from another company, we were told that we could not repair our hot tub. It was too old, they said, and recommended we buy a new one. Other companies said the same thing over the phone. When I called Napa Hot Tub, they scheduled a maintenance visit; came to house; and repaired the hot tub to full working order in a couple of hours. That was 6 years ago and it's still going strong!! Recently we refilled our hot tub (without filling the pipes first). When I called Napa Hot Tub, they said that they were very busy but might be able to help us fix it ourselves. My wife and I have had hot tubs for more than 30 years and they have been an important part of our lives - we love to sip wine and relax in the hot tub after a hard day's work - in 2004 we were pleased to find our dream home in the forest above Napa had a hot tub too. The 1992 Cal Spa tub at the house had several issues (I even replaced the entire heating system one year) and as Steve from Napa Valley Hot Tubs said during one of his visits "nothing on this tub is original" we knew it was getting too old to keep repairing. However, we are built into a steep hillside and the tub is in the forest - how could anyone deliver a new tub except by Helicopter? We were certain replacement was beyond expensive and not really an option. Well, this year Sean Brean, the NVHT sales manager, stopped by and gave us an estimate on a new Marquis Hot Tub including delivery - and he even said we had 2 inches to spare on the delivery path (lol). Long story short it was possible and we marveled as we watched the NVHT team removed our old one (after cutting it up) and used ramps to haul up a brand new Marquis Broadway Elite tub (amazing tub with "Micro Silk") and then hoist it up to our elevated concrete pad on the hillside. We are more than happy with everything they did, and are deeply grateful they did such a wonderful job. The Micro Silk is a major plus and we love how it makes us look younger by day too. read more

I called Napa Valley Hot tubs to schedule a service person to diagnose, I was expecting a long parts list and costly repair estimate, I came home and the hot tub was running!! And fully functional! Steve the technician had the parts with him . I am amazed! These guys know what they are doing, so rare ! I didn't even have to be at home when he came by. Was recommend this place from a neighbor within the block. After going to other competitors which i wont say any names, I have had nothing but bad service, a kid / teen working the counter, no one very knowledgeable about hot tubs, or anything I was inquiring about, and or to busy to help me cause they were on the phone. Anyways, back to this place, VERY friendly, first time here, greeted as we walked in, VERY knowledgeable about hot tubs, and pools, and answered all my questions. Phone kept ringing but she got it once, after that she gave us all the attention, and just let it go to voice mail box. She helped us more then any other place, or even calling around or the dealer where we got the hot tub. The prices were reasonable, and pretty much what i could get from online or amazon if not cheaper on some if i had to pay for shipping.. In fact even had our filter in stock there in the store, after I have been looking online and different stores and all would have to special order it, not only that it was $69+, and Napa Valley Hot Tubs $49. another product we get online is 13.99, here it was 14.99. and didn't have to pay shipping, which on some of these chemicals can be pricey. So prices are pretty comparable , and even if its a dollar or 2 more, i rather support a local business then online... so long as its not outrageously over priced. In the end we walked out of the store with a lot more knowledge then we had before, and the right products in hand, let alone she let us borrow a pump to drain our spa. If you are looking for supplies or need a new spa, pool supplies, or bbq, or heck anything they have to offer I would highly recommend this place, very friendly, patient, and understanding.... read more

My 12 year old spa seemed to have a air lock. I tried all the tips online but nothing workEd. I swung by the Napa Valley Hot Tub location a few times for tips. I met their technician Steve. He was super helpful, his schedule was packed for two weeks out. He said he try to do a quick diagnostic but probably not have time to fix it. Wow Steve popped off the computer cover and saw 2 fried wires, said I can fix this easy and quick. Sure enough it worked. He was real professional and polite. The team at Napa Valley Hot Tubs (NVHT) were very helpful and professional in the replacement of our 27+ year old Hot Springs tub. We ended up selecting the Artesian brand since the reviews for Hot Springs has plummeted and are, in our view, overpriced. Sean, Al, Mimi, and the people at NVHT were easy to communicate with, direct with options available, and honest on the extended delivery times to expect. Sean was especially helpful with providing a template we needed to adjust our redwood deck cutout as the new spa was smaller and the radius would not fit. (See picture). One recommendation to make to Artesian would be to provide a factory issued template for the models. We selected a 7x7 Island Spa model. The features were extensive compared to our "ancient" hot tub being replaced so learning the controls and difference in water chemistry was involved but even then Sean was patient in his explanations and they even provided a 1 page "cheat sheet" which is helpful. The delivery of the new tub and removal of the old one was efficiently executed and went fairly smooth given the challenge of side yard steps. A crude (but effective) ramp was built, card board (which they brought) laid out on our deck, and the new tub carted up. The use of an air bag to lift and maneuver the new tub off the trailer and lifting the old tub onto the trailer was fun to observe. My wife even has a video. The final touch of installing the cover lift was performed (after assessing options) and we now have a nice, new hot tub to enjoy. We drove from Sacramento to check out a Superpool as they are one of a few authorized dealers within 50 miles of where we live. When I spoke with Al prior to heading to Napa, I was really impressed with his excellent customer service; he seemed very knowledgeable and trustworthy. We highly recommend NVHT for their professional and high quality products and services. We purchased a hot tub from them almost 2 years ago. Came into their store, and was given great service - they were even able to look up the make/model of my hot tub on their computer from the address (previous tenant had used their store as well), and keep on the same chemical system. I got instructions on every part of setting up and refilling the hot tub and how to maintain, and am welcome to call them with any follow-up questions. This was about as good as it gets. Discovered this place on accident when I was visiting the shopping center. The Big Green Egg out front caught me eye since I've been eyeing them for awhile and didn't know there was a dealer here in Napa. I believe this is a small mom/pop owned shop and one of the owners greeting us and was helpful and knew quite a bit about the different BBQs they offered. (The had a selection of smokers and 2 different Kamodo style BBQs.) She gave me a bunch of literature and a written price quote and I left to read over everything and think it over. The next day I called and was able to place my order over the phone with a credit card. They offer free local delivery which is especially nice since the BGE is over 200lbs! They delivered it same day (actually within 3-4 hours and set it up in the back yard where I'd asked them to over the phone. I went with a basic setup, because I wanted to get a little experience before buying up accessories like pizza stones, and over items specific to the BGE to help when cooking different types of food. I was very happy when she told me that since I bought my egg there that I'd get 10% off all future accessories. (I was afraid that discount would have only applied if I bought everything at the time I bought the BBQ) Heading in today to pickup the pizza stone so I can try my hand at it this weekend. Very happy to have an authorized dealer so close! (I do have a small issue with the BGE itself. The seal on the top of the GBE is peeling away after only one use. I'll be interested to see how the customer service is. I'll come back and update my review if it doesn't live up to the rest of my experience here. :) And in case you are in the market for a BGE specifically, be sure to note that the factory will only warranty your egg if you buy from an authorized dealer. read more

Wow I dont know how to thank Mimi who expedited my hot tub move or Sean who preformed it. I always do everything myself but realized I was over my head with this last minute online used spa purchase. Mimi was amazing on helping me make it happen over night and Sean plus his boy wonder did it like it was nothing. He also took time out to show us the mechanics of the spa that I bought and told us the correct product to use for our unit. Should have bought new from Napa hot tubs so I would have the warranty but they treated me the same. I can't relay the stress they saved me and for such a minimal expense. I did my research and I worked out what I was looking for online. I wanted to see some in the flesh and so I went to Napa Valley hot tub. I wasn't sure I have made the right move from the outside as the store looked kind of small. Inside they have everything you can think of for outdoor living. Al was one of those guys who you need to talk to before buying anything. He told you what you want and why you need it. He wasn't pushy but told us everything we could possibly need to know. We bought the tub and the service just kept getting better. The installation was a breeze and the guidance and support for running it were excellent. These guys are horrible! Called to get some repair work done on my hot tub. They came out and diagnosed it, no problem. Said they would get back to us with estimate. After almost 2 weeks we called them to find out what was happening. After some phone tag they finally told us it would be $500. That that was steep because it didn't seem like a big job but we reluctantly agreed. 3 weeks later we received no word on the progress. We called again, no answer, called again, no answer. Called a couple days later finally talked to someone, told me, "my tech (Steve) was on vacation. I week later I called again, finally Steve said that he had the parts and he would come out that day to repair. He came out and repaired it (I guess, we'll see). I come home a little while later only to find he had left the hose running and the tub is overflowing into my yard. I called to find out what happened, but guess what, yep you guessed it, no answer! read more
