We needed a capacitor for our Hayward pool pump. My husband had called in to make sure that they hard the part on hand. Since I was out and about I told my husband that I would run by and pick it up. I was greeted with what do you want? Then when I said I needed a part. I was told that unless I had a part number they couldn't help me. I went back to the parts window and when I was looking up my husbands text I was. I was told if I didn't have a part number he wouldn't talk to me. I got irritated and called my husband and the guy at the counter was more then happy to listen and jumped to action to get him the part he needed. Like women can't find their way out of a parts bag! We've been to this location a few times and have always have great service. Today we went looking for a volleyball net. Unfortunately, they'd just run out, but they got on the phone and located one for us at another nearby location. We were given the address and told they'd have one ready for us. To me, that's what great customer service is all about. At so many other places we would have been told they were out of whatever we wanted and that we should try another store. The fact that they found one for us (and without us even having to ask) shows that they cared about our time and business. read more

Everyone is always very helpful here. They are very knowledgeable. The prices here are reasonable. I bought a swan here and I love it! The swan was so comfortable. They send coupons every couple of weeks and their deals going on. Overall, lots of ways to save. read more

This store is a life saver!! This afternoon I noticed my pool vacuum wasn't moving. As I pulled it up towards the surface to look at it, I saw something hanging out the bottom that looked suspiciously like a tail. AARRGGHH!!! I quickly grabbed a box and, without looking, unhooked the hose and put the vacuum in as fast as I could (shudder). We drove straight to Leslie's on Chandler Heights and Higley where Alec became our knight in shining armor. While I retreated half way across the store, he disposed of an enormous lizard (double shudder). Then he tested the water, which convinced me (I think) not to drain and refill the whole thing. Thank you so much Alec for being so brave and kind, lol. Please give this young man a raise. Customer for life. :-) read more

Unfortunately this review applies to any of the hundreds of the Leslie's Pool stores in the PHX metro area. I have been to several looking for a reputable sales guy with good info on how to care for your pool. No luck here. I have even heard them talking about their commission/ bonus plans and disgust for returns that go against there sales. Not to mention all the BS being slung to novice pool owners to sell unneeded chemicals. Not a lot of choices on pool supplies stores South of 202 in Chandler and Gilbert. I stopped using Leslies altogether. They sold me a 500 dollars pool vacuum not suited for my pool. I tried it for a month and it always jammed. Store manger told me his employee Paul should never have sold me that unit. Even though I was willing to buy a more expensive unit to replace it they charged me $70 bucks to return a defective product. Had a small return policy sign on counter hidden behind adverts as their justification. Have not been back since April 2017. Internet always cheaper and now Sun Devil Pools a great option on Gilbert and Ocotillo! Matt M. read more

This review is to acknowledge excellent customer service. I visited this Leslies Pool Service this morning to have them tune up my pool sweep that was showing significant wear and tear. It was 14 months old. Jason, who sold this to me last year stood out in my mind then and he has done it again this year. He looked at my cleaner and noticed that it showed more wear and tear than it should have, especially since it wasn't that old. He asked it I had a few hours, that he wanted to contact the manufacturer to see about parts and how to proceed. He called me 30 minutes later and said, come get the pool sweeper. I thought it was a quick fix, but the manufacturer told him to just replace the unit, period. Jason knew something was wrong with the short period of time that I had this sweeper and took the time to inquire further. He didn't have to do that. I have nothing but good things to say about this store. I bought a solar cover from them about 1 1/2 years ago. It got all dried out and the plastic started flaking into the pool. I thought it should have lasted longer but I was prepared to just buy another one. While at the store talking about what size I needed, I asked what the life expectancy of a cover was and mentioned that mine was falling apart. The store manager asked how long I had it and if I still had the receipt. I told him I was not sure and he looked it up on his computer. He. Asked me to bring the old one into him & he would replace it at no charge. That's what I did and he gave me another one free of charge. For as long as I need pool supplies, I will buy them from this store. What awesome customer service. So many people just complain and try to take advantage of a store's good will.
