Chris was in search of a new dart set, and a friend recommended Rizzo for their selection of…read morequality darts. So, we set off on a quest. I have never purchased darts, so I am not really sure what qualifies as a grand selection. Rizzo had about four or five sets for $30 or under displayed on the counter. There were also about twelve to fifteen sets total of sharp darts and soft tip darts in a display case. They ranged in price from around $50 to well over $100. I suppose that is a decent selection, but I am no dart connoisseur. What was great about Rizzo is that they allowed Chris to throw each set of darts that he was considering buying. They have an in-house board set up in the corner just for that purpose. It was very helpful for him to feel the weight of each dart set he threw, as he is a dart novice and would not have been able to make an informed decision based on internet specs alone. Dart enthusiasts probably hold a greater appreciation than I am capable of for the selection of dart components that Rizzo carries. They have an entire half wall dedicated to components and various spinners/flyers that you attach to the end of the dart to make it awesome (I am sure there is a much more technical purpose for them). All in all, we had a good experience, and Chris now owns darts that he loves. So, if you need darts, forget the fact that this is technically a pool place, and go get your mini javelin on. Just watch out for the Cheeto bandit behind the counter who finds it completely unnecessary to wipe the cheesy powder from his fingers before man-handling your new dart set.

I called the office and I was told several times they were going to speak to the tech who was out and get back to me. I did not receive a call and I kept calling every day. When I finally got in touch with them I was told that they were trying to get the part. I still did not hear back and when I called again I explained that I had the owners manual and could order the part so they could put it in. At that point I was told they did not know what part I needed and they did not service above ground pools. Stay away from this place!!!!

It's a body scrub where you are completely unclothed and a woman with two minutes rubs your body and dead skin flies off. At the end, you were rubbed down in oil. I was worried that this wouldn't be relaxing, or it would even hurt. Let me first say that they put you in a sauna for as long as you can stand, and then a wet sauna. Next you go into the room face up, and the scrubbing starts. Well, it is not as relaxing as a massage, by any means There is much satisfaction in the results. I left with glowy soft skin feeling wonderful! The spa offers an option where you can purchase a membership and the services are cheaper. I will definitely become a frequent flyer! I can't recommend this place enough!

The massage: i heard the machine from the wash area going off for 40 mins of my 60 min massage. The masseuse was pressing down on my spine it did not feel good at all. Also people kept popping in and talking while i was getting my massage. The place needs some fine tuning.

It was all common sense being that they are digging a massive hole in my yard. Safety was always first, they used a heavy grade temporary fencing around the pool until the project was finished. During construction they went over settling and why they won't be back for awhile, again common sense. If it didn't settle my pavers would sink within a year. When completed Ralph did what he calls pool school and went over everything and made sure I understood. Jose is an exceptional service guy he had to come out for my railing and pool cover. Everyone is the North Branford store goes above and beyond for you. I dont use them for service, I open and close the pool. I do get my products for them and have my water tested. I have tried other products from cheaper stores, not the same. My pool looks great with there products. Overall a great company to do business with.

And they don't assume I am made out of money! I've always been offered a spectrum of options of how to deal with problems affordably, explaining the pros and cons of each approach. Old-fashioned customer service at its best...I am so glad I found them!

The answer is our hot tub, so I am glad to write this review from a position of expertise. On November 3, 2012, we bought a Vista Hot Tub from Scarritt Spas and I thought it would be like an exercise bicycle...get used couple of times the first months and then everyone would gradually lose interest. The opposite has been the truth. I'll bet this tub has been used 150 days a year, every year, since it was installed, at a utility cost of pennies per day. I never thought I would use it...but it is wonderful for achy joints, sore muscles and for just rehabilitating after a hard day's work or a long bike ride. The kids use it almost every night when they are home from college or visiting. There is nothing better than hot-tubbing, with a hat on, during a snow storm. The colder the better. In the summer, the Vista has a low-power setting so the heater does not waste energy, and the kids turn the spa down to a more refreshing 85 degrees. We have had to have it serviced exactly one time, and that was when the heat pump was acting up and Scarritt came out and replaced it for free; two days after we called. In terms of maintenance; I have replaced the filters one time and I had to order a new cover after I inadvertently went all the way through it while pushing snow off. The chemicals are inexpensive; they do not even run $100.00/year. I thought I was going to have to be a chemist to keep the tub balanced but one of the greatest free services Scarritt provides is the ability to bring in a water sample and they print out a sheet of specific instructions of what to add to the tub. I don't have to do that often, it's usually a teaspoon here or a tablespoon there, but it gives me great peace of mind knowing it is well balanced. I can't wait for the grandchildren to be old enough to enjoy it, I am sure it will still be every bit as dependable at that point.
