Not only did they give us a fair price on a Vita Spas Envie but they also financed it for us at 0% interest. We've now had this tub now for many years and have made so many memories with our friends in the backyard and gained relief for our sore muscles since our purchase in 2022! Thank you! Highly recommend Custom Spas Direct in Upland! Check them out!

During my research process, I read numerous online postings advising that a nearby, trustworthy…read moredealer is the most important aspect when buying a hot tub. Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. I'm so glad I purchased from a local dealer that provides such fantastic service after the sale. I'm sure a larger dealer would not have given us the same treatment. Thanks Jim! Five stars!

If I could give 6 stars to Jeremy and Paul at California Pools - Corona, I would. I have had 3…read morepools built with 3 different companies and Jeremy was a notch ahead of everyone else. After narrowing down the search to the 3 most reputable pool builders in SoCal, I spent another month nailing down a design. Jeremy was the ONLY one who was no pressure, willing to take the time to brainstorm ideas in front of a design program and did everything he could to bring my vision to life. The other 2 companies tried to steer me into their specific direction and opinions about what my pool should be - and any time I asked for a change in their design, they were visibly annoyed. Once the design was set and contract signed, Jeremy and Paul were always accessible and willing to answer any and all of my never-ending questions. Anytime an issue arose, they were both on it immediately to correct it or come up with a solution. My project was very difficult. It involved demo-ing a huge slop and running a very long retaining wall in addition to the pool dig. Like many places in the IE, my ground and slope was SOLID and access was VERY NARROW...a terrible combo. Jeremy did everything to make the process as stress free as possible and ultimately, I have the backyard I always dreamed of. The #1 most important aspect when choosing a pool builder is reputation and piece of mind. There are a MILLION companies out there but when it comes to whom you can trust when (not if) issues arise, to not cut corners and produce a pristine final product, Jeremy at California Pools - Corona is the man.

We recently completed our very first large home improvement project--building a pool--and…read moreinitially, we were very nervous. After doing extensive research and meeting with at least five different companies, we ultimately chose to move forward with Jeremy, and we are so glad we did. From the beginning, Jeremy set the bar high. He was incredibly communicative, honest, and truly focused on making sure we were happy with each phase before moving forward. He took the time to listen to our wants and needs, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us design a pool that worked perfectly for our family. What really stood out was how easy he was to talk to--no pressure, no salesy vibe. He never pushed unnecessary upgrades and was always upfront about what made sense for *our* space and budget. He did exactly what he said he would do, stuck to the plan, and followed through every step of the way. Even more impressive, the entire project was completed in exactly two months, just in time for the start of summer and before the arrival of our third baby! There were zero surprise expenses, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't be more grateful for the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Jeremy to anyone considering a pool build. He made what could have been a stressful project feel easy, exciting, and totally worth it.

Okay, so this is not your typical review because Wes, at Hansen Pools did not build my pool…read more Another builder did (and he was good) but wasn't available. My pool and I had a disagreement. I wanted it to pump water and it didn't. Half empty spa every morning, pump shutting down and refusing to restart. Just plain moody pool attitude nonsense. In an attempt to resolve an issue before leaving for two weeks I went to Yelp and tried to find a Pentair certified pool tech. Somehow I randomly chose Hansen Pool (obviously overlooking the "construction" part of their name - duh.) Good thing I did, however. Wes answered and, like a legit dude, walked through the situation with me. Through an exchange of photos and trial and error diagnosis we revealed the problem and got my pool's bad attitude sorted and back to pumping water. The whole process was actually kind of fun because I learned a lot more about my system than I knew before, got to (kinda) meet a really friendly guy, and come to realize I have no future in the pool industry. He declined an offer for payment. He declined an offer for a token of gratitude. He declined an offer to drive to TJ for tacos and beers. Why is this relevant since this minor league stuff has nothing to do with this guy building my pool? I'll tell you why. It says A LOT about the work ethic, values, and character at the other end of the phone when you call them. The pool industry is HUGE in SoCal. All the websites are flashy and beautiful and fill us with fantastic visions of our backyard paradise. But flashy websites are a dime a dozen and tell you little about the truth. I have more than one friend who was burned by an unscrupulous pool builder. I, myself, ended my interaction with a pool builder after having issues (and losing a down payment) before finding another one to complete my project. This Yelp review is about the character shown. Wes had absolutely nothing to gain from our interaction yet he helped me out and showed true character and you won't see that on a website. Truly, if you're looking for a pool builder give them a call. Ask for Wes. He is a straight up dude and has the kind of character that isn't as common as it once was. P.S.: I didn't really offer to go get tacos in TJ. I made that up. Wanted to clear that up because who would like a guy who wasn't down for tacos?
