Bought a bubble cover for my pool last year with a 5 year warranty. Went in today to talk with the manager about it. Apparently their warranty is worthless. My pool cover is 1 year old and is halfway torn in half, holes everywhere, and every time we take it off the pool there are little bits of it everywhere that have fallen off and I have to scoop out with the net. According to the manager, the warranty doesn't cover the fact that their product only lasts 5 minutes. It only covers the seams where it is glued together. Don't tell me "it's not my fault...it's the company". B.S. You chose to have this product and this warranty on your shelves therefore it represents your business. Might as well buy a cheaper product online if you're not gonna stand by your product. I'd much rather support a local business, but you give me no choice. I was very disappointed when I arrived at this store. I really need help with my pool, and the guy Phillip that work there was not helpful at all. First off let me start with saying that Shaeem B. Is such an outstanding employee. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. My husband and I were lost in the game as we are first-time homebuyers and have no clue how to maintain a pool. Store hours show opened until 5pm on Sundays however I just drove to the store to find the doors locked, with the fallen "Returning in 10 minutes sign". Understandable so I decide to wait outside because I just drove to the store, however after 15 minutes the doors are still locked and there is no sign of any employee inside the store. If your store is going to be closed for the day then please update your hours accordingly. People wonder why companies lose so much money/clients to Amazon here is a great example. I could have ordered what I needed and waited for prime the next day. Instead I waste my time to try and support the local community only to be disappointed. read more

I went in to buy sand for my pool pump. I Asked this guy name Phillip for the pool filter sand he points at it and doesn't say anything. I walked over to the area where they had the sand bags, the bag is pretty heavy for me. I wasn't able to pick it up. He walks over to me with a dolly and just stands looking at me struggling to pick up the bag. I was finally able to get it and throw it half way on the dolly he turns around and starts asking the other employee about a podcast. Since the sand bag wasn't on the dolly I had to fix it because he wasn't gonna doit. So I did I fixed it, then he pushes the dolly to the cashier charges me but don't tell me what my total amount is. I had to ask because I couldn't see what my total amount to pay was. I finally Pay and he gives me the receipt and don't even offer to help. I asked God for strength and was able to take the bag to my car. Was disappointed for the service I got. read more

I went to this store on June 5 with the returns they wouldn't accept at the store on 47th St., East and Lyle was very helpful handle the return the refund in about 30 seconds and I was out of there. I recommend this store very knowledgeable and they don't try to upsell you stuff that you don't need. read more

As I stepped in the store Phillip G. rolled his eyes didn't want to help me resolve my pool problem. Guy tested my water threw the me the results in a bad way in the counter. Parking is plenty. Customer Service? Questionable. Price? They are definitely over priced come to filters and installation. The guy works there told me that the Hayward Filter on display is $1,300 and the installation cost is $200. I went on Amazon and found the same filter $1,049. I also found the installation contractor on HomeAdvisor for $170. If that's not a price gauging, deemed to be a dishonest business practice. And the price is not displayed so an another red flag. Even you go to the Leslie's website, that's cheaper than what the store worker says so go figure. No thanks, I would take my business elsewhere. But they have plenty of parking spaces though. read more

Believe me or Not...you will find out..! I went and ordered a New Hayward Motor...all good so far...then the counter person said just bring it in and we will install new Bushing when you pick it up..WOW I said Kool Thanks...I'm so Happy ..Got Home and I Installed Motor Not very Hard.....But I could NOT Get it Primed....Spent 1 hour filling And Running my New Motor with No Luck....so I was Thinking I have an Air Leak.....I took It Apart and Watched a Video on youtube...and WOW ....LESLIE'S Installed my Bushing Backwards...so it Melted My Impeller and had Pieces coming Out...after 1 more week of ordering a New Impeller and New Bushings....I Did it MYSELF...Had My New Motor and Everything Running with in 15 min...So the Moral is I Got to Leslie's Because I have too...But I Will Never Trust them for ANYMORE Advice or HELP.......DANGER...DANGER .. I came to Leslie Pool "in between" pool service companies--the last one being a complete "Kleen-Sweep" nightmare which I won't get into. I met Lyle at Leslie Pools and laid it on him. He calmly taught me many things I did not know about keeping my pool clean, clear, and algae free without the need of an expensive pool service. So far so good. I brought in a water sample. Lyle ran it through the in-store water analysis and he presented me with a print-out of my pool's chemistry status, and what I need to do achieve balance. I've followed his advice, and my pool's looking good. Lyle spent a great deal of time giving me instruction. Great work. read more

Thinking about buying an above ground pool and went to inquire about prices and what we would need to start it up. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable and even gave us tips on how to save money by buying some things other places and how to convert pool to salt water. I got an above ground pool. I had a lot of trouble with keeping the water clear and the Manager here is an outstanding Customer Service Rep and Salesman. He is such a nice guy always has a smile and takes really good care of you. I didn't get his name but I can tell you he is one of the nicest Managers I've ever met. read more

I am a customer of this store for over 10 years now, the experience buying in this store was always ok, Recently I had to visit this store more often since my pool equipment needed attention more often due to aging, I needed New Filter parts, New Pool Light but most recently I needed Two new Pool Heaters (1 for the pool and 1 for the spa) and I was extremely impressed with Mr. Lyle ! His knowledge about pools and pool equipment and everything in the store is Amazing ! he is like a pool professor, you do not need to explain too much he already know what you need, usually when I needed something for my pool I shopped around but now I go directly to Lyle, I love doing my business with this store, I appreciate all the good service :) read more

I went to the store on 47th St. East looking for an above ground pool ladder. The gentleman who assisted me was very helpful, he checked the stockroom at my request and he also called the store on Rancho Vista Blvd. where they had a ladder and he told them I would be heading right over to get it. 4th of July weekend saved...or so I thought. I went straight from the store on 47th to the one on Rancho Vista Blvd. When I entered I was greeted and I told them I was there for the ladder which the other store had asked for them to hold for me. Come to find out the lady who greeted me was the same one that answered the phone and did not put a note on the ladder so the manager of the store sold it moments before I arrived and then left the store. 4th of July ruined because someone could not write "on hold" on a frickin box. I will NEVER shop at such a disreputable place of business again. All I left with was "sorry" and it was not their fault oh and that they could order one for me and it would arrive in 5-7 business days!! What a crock. Talk about sh*ty customer service. read more
