They said they were coming last Wednesday and never showed up and never a call. We called today, Monday June 16, 2013. We were told they will come this Wednesday, June 18, 2013. We shall see. My complaint with them is that they left the insulation all over the ground, and they didn't replace the filter. Needless to say, our renters called us because the water was so dirty and I had to have our cleaning service go over - it cost me $75 for them to clean up the insulation, replace the filter and refill the hot tub. After receiving (and paying) a $454 bill, I emailed them and they never responded.

Previous Review: Mike and Andy showed up to repair my Hot Tub and apparently they spent about 20-25 minutes each diagnosing my hot tub and came to the conclusion that my pumps are bad, my heater is bad and I have numerous leaks. They parked their truck in my driveway at 10:39am and arrived to my hot tub at 10:43am. At 10:45am one person walked away from the tub and at 10:47am one of them urinated in my yard and then proceeded to walk to check out my yard for another minute or so. At 11:03am their truck was gone from my driveway and the $150 cash they convinced my wife to leave them because they couldn't come when she was home (we never indicated it was an emergency) was gone. I would have never known about this experience if my wife didn't arrive home at 11:15am (earlier than expected) and wonder why no one was here and the money was gone. Thank God we have surveillance cameras in place. These guys are liars, shady and thieves. I have no problem paying the $150 service call and any additional labor at $80 an hour to repair my tub, I do have a problem with someone ripping me off and telling me my top of the line Hot Springs Envoy that is 5 years old is basically shot. I posted on the PA loves Pool's Facebook group on Thursday night. He was at my house Friday morning. And had the pool liner installed by noon Saturday. Very honest and professional. Regarding the initial technician who is reviewed here. The initial estimate was May 11, and I was told it could be installed the first week in June. My pool liner was delivered to Kasper Pools May 15 or 16, and I picked it up a few days later. I hadn't heard anything since May 11, so I texted him on May 30 because I was supposed to be on his calendar for the first week in June. At that point, he began pushing everything back, and did not provide any date for install -- just kind of left it open ended. He also told me it couldn't be done unless I was home. (It actually turned out not to be true. Leo and his partner did it themselves.) almost a week later I hadn't heard anything, so I texted Tom a week before I went away (for work) hoping it could be done before I went away,and was ignored for over a week and until my 3rd text. I attached proof of that. My wife screamed after the final postponement because we were waiting almost 7 weeks and Tom cancelled bc of a 20% forecast of rain (that never happened.) The so-called harassment Tom describes, on my end, was a response to his very lengthy text, an hour after we thought we were moving on. This text was again full of excuses and selective memory and warranted a response. I also have proof of that. Tom claiming I only got the liner 3 weeks ago (which I have proof is wrong) is either a blatant lie, or, if Tom actually believes this, demonstrates a concerning inability to accurately recall prior communication (even though it was sparse). The 1st guy said he could possibly get to the installation in August. When Tom from PA Pool works called me back, we were scheduled to have an estimate at home @ the site of the pool & a few days later Tom came and we discussed our plans which is something I wasn't even offered w/the 1st installer I spoke with. Even though he & his crew were swamped, Tom assured us he felt comfortable providing us w/a mid-July install, weather pending. Tom & his crew were able to keep their time estimate and were here 2 weeks into the month. Not only were the installers able to stick to a date range, these guys worked through one of the hottest summers the Northeast has historically had on record and they were able to finish our job on the 3rd day in brutal heat. They arrive early, they are competent, experienced, fair priced & overall would definitely recommend.

Got a hole in the couch, and it's been slowly getting beaten up - stains don't come out, that kind of thing. Another friend told me her partner, who's just bought a new place in NYC, got his couch - the same kind I have - at Bob's, but now it includes built-in shelves on either side and charging stations. Huh. So last week, I popped up to Bob's to check out the new couch. I wasn't thrilled about having to shell out $$ for a new couch, but when I talked to Maryanne, the salesperson, she said that the policy I bought might cover the cost to replace it. I was dubious but agreed it was worth the 10 minutes it took to file a claim. Lo and behold. Got an email from the claims dept. yesterday with a voucher for replacing my couch! The OG model I have isn't made anymore, but the upgrade is better anyway. Popped up to Bob's today. Ordered the new couch. Used the voucher -- free delivery, new protection plan included -- and it cost me a whole $47 out of pocket. Shout-out to Stephen for his help today & for assuring me that Maryanne would get the commission since she's responsible for suggesting I try the claims process in the first place. Moral of the story -- Bob's has decent furniture. Nothing's built to last anymore, unfortunately, but their policy -- if you purchase the protection plan for $99 -- is absolutely worth it. Definitely recommend them.
