Beware of doing business with this company!!!When you buy used car they will charge you with something called SSP. For$14000 it was all most $600!!! This is a second car I am buying from this dealer.First time two years ago my experience was excellent!!!This time opposite they change the internet price with $600 for SSP. The salesman told us something about security deposit,cleaning and full tank of gas.I think this is just another hidden dealer fee.When we received car the tank was half full,the engine bay and trunk were so dirty.They didnt even try to clean them. My vehicle was returned with 2 dents in the passenger door among other problems stated on my previous review (abusing my vehicle which was getting 28.6 mpg at drop off returned to me getting 27.5) My vehicle was driven 3 miles and 22 miles of gas were used in that time. 2 weeks still no return phone call. I bought a used F-150 December 22, about 8days later the transmission blew. Per my purchased extended warranty, the vehicle was towed to dealership and was given a loaner auto. Today, January 10th, I have yet to receive a phone call from the dealership. I have left a recorded message for the used auto manager and have not received a call back ! I have made a few calls and at one point was told "the extended warranty you purchased takes weeks to enact" Really? So should have checked Yelp before I bought here. First of all, our sales experience left a bit to be desired. We came in at 3 pm and didn't get out until after 8pm, even though our financing went through in the first 45 minutes. What took so long? Not sure, but at least an hour of that time our sales associate Edwin claimed to be transferring our free 6 months Onstar account to the new vehicle, but a month later we got charged for it, so I had to follow up with them directly and set it up correctly. When I came in to pick up my plates, they refused to do me the curtesy of putting them on my brand new 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, but Ed said, "I can go find a screw driver for you to do it yourself." Bad enough so far, but the real problem came when I went to open my trunk a month later after a hard rainstorm and found it soaking wet. When I tried calling the dealership, I got sent to voicemail. My call was not returned. So I called back. 4 times. I asked to speak with a manager, who couldn't come to the phone because he was in a meeting. It took me an hour of back and forth with the operator before she transferred me to the service department. The people there are nice, but I would Never recommend this place to anyone! read more

My vehicle is currently sitting at Lesson Chevrolet. 1501 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, Louisiana. They will not work on my vehicle which had no power steering because the last time I brought my vehicle to them I refused to pay the diagnostic fee. I refused to pay the fee because they had my vehicle for several days and upon picking my vehicle up, no diagnosis made. They gave me my vehicle back with the problem persisting and no clear direction on how to fix the problem. The service manager, Tim Colson insisted that I pay the diagnostic fee although no diagnosis was made. He released my vehicle to me and to my surprise left a note on my account, to not allow my vehicle to be serviced at this location again. This is bad business and I would most certainly warn against using this location for service on and or purchase of a vehicle. read more

I've been able to schedule appointments and have my Tahoe serviced at my convenience, but I've also experienced an emergency when Tim, the Service Manager, made sure I was helped immediately and without an appointment. We bought a brand new 2018 Silverado. They threw in a bedliner with the purchase. Brought the truck into the body shop to get the bedliner with 140 miles on it. The shuttle brought me to work and picked me up from work to bring me back to the dealership to get my truck because they called and said the truck was ready. When I get there they say my truck is not ready. They dont have my keys and I cant get the truck. They give me a loaner truck to use until the next day. I go back the next day to get my truck and it has 275 miles on it and they used 1/2 tank of gas!! I have given them time to make this right but they have not. They say I brought the truck in with 275 miles on it which I know for a fact is not true. My truck had 140 miles when I dropped it off. No doubt about it. I asked them to view the security cameras to see who drove off in my truck and put 135 miles on it but that has yet to be done. Updating to respond to the comment left by Luke Robbins. They never answer my calls or call me back and when they finally did, they give me the run around about what was going on. They have terrible customer service and time management skills. Horrible experience!! I purchased a used car here. Salesman was a very nice guy but he had to jump the battery for the test drive (first red flag). After I purchased the car, six days later I needed a jump. I brought the car back to Leson to have them check it out & replace the battery. The service dept sends me to Nissan stating that since the car is still under warranty, Nissan should replace the battery. Got to Nissan only to have them tell me the battery was not a Nissan battery but an AC delco battery. I was highly upset. Why didn't Leson's service techs notice that it was THEIR OWN battery in my car. I had to return to Leson. They did replace the battery but that should've been done on my first trip. We agreed on something on the phone after running a diagnosis on my car and when came to pick it up, something else was charged Second, I took my car and left and once I got to my store, that is less than 5 minutes away, I noticed that my front left fender was dented. I bought a brand new car from here and the air condition wasn't working and the headlight went out about a month after purchasing. Then I bring it to the dealership and explain that a brand new car shouldn't have these problems and since I have a warranty they said they would fix it. Got a call a few days later and said it was fixed. The air condition then broke again 2 days after. If you know you sold a new car with problems you are already in the wrong they could have at least fixed it when I brought it back to get it fixed. Bought a used 2006 Nissan Frontier . Very good shape, 115,000 miles.Everything looked good. test drive went well. paid top dollar 8500.00. The truck i had a person ran a light and it was totaled. Less than 3 months later the Leson used truck needed all new coil packs and plugs..the oil looked very dirty after that so i had a oil change. RIGHT AFTER THE OIL CHANGE IT STARTED TO BURN OIL A LOT...Took it to a trusted mechanic and after a few different checks i was told the cylinder was bad. Extremely poor service, expensive, slow, ripoff. Took our vehicle there with an antifreeze leak in the heater hose. Told can't buy just one hose, have to buy entire new hose kit. Given song and dance about how much labor to change all the hoses and pressure test the radiator - quoted $1100. Agreed under duress of needing the car back, waited two days, when it was supposed to be ready it wasn't. Nobody called to advise. We called them 90 minutes before the service dept closed, nobody would call us back. Couldn't get the car back, broken or working. They pull endless cunning stunts, noboby has a key to the service area after hours, they don't know how to reach the managers or owners at home, lies about when they said it would be ready, I am going to make a custom sign for the back of the car, incorporating their dealer logo on the car, telling everyone not to deal with them ever. We have dealt there for 15 years and at one time they were great, but for the past couple of years its like they have been taken over by con men and crooks. $1100 for a leaky heater hose, gimme a break. Oh but it's premium service! Three days later no car. CROOKS! But let me tell you why. I have a 2010 Camaro LT2 and I heard it making this gosh awful squealing and crackling sound over bumps and making turns so I took it in immediately. After charging me $100 to just asses it they told me I needed both sway bar links replaced as well as the sway bar. Said they both were bent and my sway bar had been hit. Quoted me $700. After looking up those parts, I found it difficult to believe... My coworker referred me to Buick/GMC Mossy Motor for a 2nd opinion. I told them the diagnosis. They kept it for a day and brought me in to look at it. The mechanic lifted my car up and pointed out every part they said was damaged... ONLY 1 way bar link was damaged and it would have taken geometrical genius to hit the sway bar underneath the frame of the car to damage that, hence it was in perfect condition. They flat out lied. Mossy hooked me up with new parts and labor for $150. Car is sounding better than ever. Dont go to LESON. Not without 3 opinions... read more

I initially brought my car here because the engine was running hot and the car would cut off on its own. Chevy told me I needed a new part. I bought the part and my total was around $200 (the part itself was $50). A day after driving my car, the engine started running hot again. Went in for and oil change and 27 point check. Greeter was very friendly and came out to my car as soon as I pulled up. The wait was not long at all. The only problem I had was they only did the oil change and when I inquired was everything done, rotation of tires, etc, they said they thought it was only an oil change! They are crooks! Our son's car started making a terrible grinding sound and would not go into gear. We had it towed to Leson and have been fighting them for a week. They said the transmission was out. The car only has 57,000 miles on it and has never been wrecked, not even a fender bender. It should be covered under warranty. They say it was involved in a collision and will not cover it under warranty. They cannot show us where there is evidence of a collision and we have had two experts go in and look at it and agree there is no evidence of a collision. We are having it towed to another shop. I thought that because I was familiar with this company's name for most of my life and that because they have been in business for several decades that I could trust them. My salesman's name is Jeremy. I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz. I am very familiar with these cars because my parents have bought and driven the higher end models for over 30 years. My father purchased one for me while I was in college. The car is beautiful inside and out. The only real issue that I have is their dishonesty. I reviewed the Carfax and read that the previous owner had had a problem with the power-steering. I was reluctant to buy the car after reading this. Jeremy assured me that there was no problem with it because it had ultimately been repaired. I purchased the car. Within 60 days of driving the car, I went to the store and the car completely shut down in the parking lot. All I could do was have it towed to Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans. Guess what the problem was? The power-steering pump had to be replaced! So he lied to me. An estimated cost of $1200 or more. He could have easily been up front about the defect and deducted something off of the price of the car. When I called them to express my disappointment, they tried to sell me a brand new car. They were rude, condescending, and failed to return my phone calls. Now I have to sue them. Very shady business practices. read more

Took my 2006 Duramax there for a driver side CV boot issue (rubber boot would continually pop off of axle housing). Took it there on a Monday and was told it would be a one day job. Two days later I get a call saying the service manager refused to work on my truck because it's a Napa axle, didn't know it takes two days of deliberation to refuse service on a CV axle boot..good thing it wasn't something larger like a transmission. I go to pick up my truck the day after the phone conversation, the gentleman at the Isuzu counter is nowhere to be found, I clearly see my keys on the board and could have grabbed them and left but that's not professional. Also they were going to give me info on a shop who could fix it (more on that later). So after 30 mins of pacing someone finally asks me if I needed help. After they try and locate the gentleman and fail I wait for another 30 mins with no luck, finally two people go in seperate directions to locate this person. He finally arrives and tells me (not my problem anymore, we are not touching your truck). So I get the info for this shop and informed them I would be calling...$700 is what they wanted to charge me to change out a Napa shaft for another Napa shaft. I ended up buying a new one and doing it myself, the dealer I took it to back in Washington was curtious, informative, and even rotated tires and lubed chassis for free. It's those little things that make me come to them large services because I know they appreciate their customers. I won't take my truck to leson Chevrolet for an oil change let alone any other maintenance, I'm willing to spend the time and fuel for a more competent and curtious staff and experience. read more
