I got the Enjoyme latte, which was topped with a house made injeolmi cream (roasted soybean powder with condensed milk.) The topping was almost dessert like - rich and deep in flavor but not too sweet. It actually doesn't obscure the coffee flavor, which is nice. Soy and oat milk are available ($1). We were traveling in portland and found this gem of a coffee shop. It was so good that we didnt even bother trying to find another coffee store and came back here 3 days in a row. The iced enjoyme latte was very interesting. Loved the nutty cream and flavor. The ssuk latte was also very aromatic and a refreshing in a unique way. Stopped in for a drinks break during vacation, and the Einspanner Matcha was a fun experience! My first time eating an Einspanner, and the amount of whipped cream is seriously not to be underestimated. The matcha flavor was a little light compared to the whip, but overall it was a tasty sweet treat (felt more like a milkshake than a matcha latte, but fine by me). They also have fun stickers! There is some seating, and my friends and I were able to relax and people watch for a bit. I've stopped here a few times and enjoyed it each time. During my last visit, I had a pour over of a natural processed (maybe co fermented) coffee from Colombia. It was delicious! The espresso I had was great, too. I've never been disappointed here or at their kiosk a few blocks away. Staff is always friendly and willing to make recommendations, their espresso is always great, and their drip is solid, too. This was my first time having a pour over (not sure they offer that at the kiosk), and I'm glad I did. It is nice to have a place to sit for a bit, but there isn't a lot of seating here (three low tables with a bench and short stools, and maybe four stools at a bar by the window), so not necessarily a place to sit and work. I got the Enjoyme latte and if I remember correctly, it's a latte inspired by a traditional korean dessert called injeolmi. The bitterness of the latte was complimented by the injeolmi! Amazing Asian-inspired coffee shop that is on par with those in LA! I visited this coffee shop on an Early Memorial Day Monday. The café actually opened earlier than expected. On the hours on their window, it said they opened at 10am, but I was able to visit around 8:30am. Walking-in, the coffee shop seemed to be located in a little corner of a bigger building and it was open with no door. It was aesthetic with the modern and simple designs with a couple of seats. I ordered the Cloud Custard Mocha and it was delicious. It was creamy, not too sweet, and had the perfect amount of espresso flavor. The custard cream itself was light and yummy tasting. Mixed with the espresso, it was very good. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone visiting the Downtown Portland area and I would love to try their other unique drinks one day. read more

Walking around downtown and saw this cafe and decided to check it out. It was a small space but it looked clean and modern. I got the espresso tonic and my gf got the ice chai latte. Both drinks were very good. I've had a few espresso tonics in the past but this one was so good and surprisingly refreshing as well. Did a quick run to Less and more coffee while waiting for sandwiches at Fried Egg I'm in Love and it was the smartest decision! We tried the cloud cream coffee and the ssuk latte and were so thrilled with our choices. The cloud cream is the most decadent cup of coffee I've had, such a pleasant sweet cream on a great serving of black coffee. The ssuk was unlike anything I've tried before, almost a little bit savory. I would happily drink either one on any given day. In support of AAPI heritage month, I wanted to check out an Asian-owned cafe, so when I found Less and More Coffee ii (L&M2) located right across from my hotel in downtown Portland, I naturally had to stop by. The owner himself, Ryan Jie Jiang, was at the helm of the cafe preparing pour-overs. Notes: ~ Cafe situated inside lobby of a building on SW 6th Ave and SW Yamhill St (steps away from Pioneer Courthouse Square) ~ Hours of operation: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM ~ Beans used to be roasted by Joe (Wenboe) Yang before he moved to Seattle ~ Only menu available was a laminated sheet on the counter which means you have to wait until you get to the front counter (should consider having a menu on the top back wall) ~ Mochi donuts sourced from HeyDay Doughnuts (they no longer have a brick and mortar store, but still do pop-ups from every so often) ~ Place looks like it could comfortably seat about 14 people ~ Love that they offered non-coffee drinks for those who aren't fans of coffee ~ Alternative milk options are only oat and soy. Subbing out the regular milk for one of these is an extra $1.00 ~ Loyalty program offered which is great for regulars Food/Drinks: * Hojicha Latte ($7.25) - love hojicha (Japanese roasted green tea) and this L&M2 latte comes with a double shot espresso! I usually like to adjust the sweetness level of my drinks, but glad I didn't as the agave balanced the coffee and hojicha flavors. I did ask for oat milk though. It would have been nice if the hojicha came through more, but coffee is stronger than tea. * Ssuk Latte ($6.50) - Nice to see mugwort offered here! It is a Korean leafy herb that is usually harvested in late March and April to obtain the best flavor as foraging it later almost guarantees a bitter flavor. I convinced my partner to try ssuk since he's never heard of it before. For this L&M2 drink, ssuk has been grounded into powder form and he chose oat milk. Very earthy and herbaceous. * Baked Black Sesame Mochi Donut ($3.50) - my partner and I are very partial to black sesame, so when we laid our eyes on this while waiting in line, I knew we had to get one to try. One bite into this donut left us impressed with the texture. The baker of these donuts added more rice flour which made it more mochi-like. We've had mochi donuts before, but the texture was never as chewy as we would like. HeyDay did a great job capturing the texture. If we didn't already have lunch plans right after, I would have bought the baked ube donut. The popular drinks are certainly the Cloud Custard Coffee and Pour-overs. This is a coffee shop I see myself visiting again next time I'm in downtown Portland. I'm also looking forward to checking out the menu offerings from their first location - a kiosk that's only a couple of blocks from this indoor cafe. read more

OMG their Injeolmi latte was the BEST latte I've ever had. I love the taste of the familiar traditional, Korean drink with some caffeine - it was a great start to the day! I had to write a review to commend the female barista working on Black Friday. I stopped by this location approximately an hour prior to closing and saw a fairly long line. Surprisingly, there was only one employee and she was furiously working her butt off. Taking orders, pulling orders, running back to the register just to do it all over again. I know how stressful this can feel, but she was very kind and pleasant to all customers. Stopped by the other location the following day and saw that she was working again. This location is located inside of an office building. It's small, but efficient. It's very modern and chic with a few places to sit. I went during the morning rush, so it was a bit of a line; however, the baristas quickly prepared everyone's order. I opted to try a caramel mocha. They only offer one size coffee cups and prices are decent. My caramel mocha was delicious. It was crafted perfectly. You can tell this coffee shop has a passion for what they do. We tried the cloud cream coffee and the maple oat latte. Cloud cream was the real decadence here. It's good coffee and the cream on top leads to an interesting hot-and-cold, rich cream and dark coffee combo, basically the experience of those flavors combining leads to the end result which is "yeah that was a bit odd but I'd definitely get it again, because it was very good." The oat maple latte was excellently crafted and a bit more traditional, so to speak, but really - if the cloud cream looks at all interesting please try it. I've never had anything like it and it's a real standout. the guy behind the counter was really helpful with our confusion navigating the drink menu (mostly due to confusion on which L&M coffee location we ended up in) and we left with our drinks both quickly and happy. I was seriously disappointed by this coffee shop, especially after seeing it all over TikTok. When my boyfriend and I walked in, it looked really promising--they hand-whisk both the matcha and hojicha, which had me excited. But somehow, it still missed the mark. My matcha was a really light green, and I was expecting at least a deeper shade. On the bright side, I could still taste the matcha, probably because I ordered it sweetened with agave. Honestly, if I had gotten it with agave and vanilla, I don't think I would've tasted the matcha at all. I feel like they add way too much milk. I'd rather have a smaller cup with a better payoff, especially for $6.50. As for the hojicha, I think it needed to be stronger. It totally got overshadowed by the two shots of espresso. You definitely have to ask for it to be sweetened. I'm glad my boyfriend and I gave it a try, and I think we'd come back to try some of their other lattes. But if I do spend the money again, I'll definitely be asking for an extra shot. read more

This is their second location that's an actual store! It was nice to get out of the rain and have a dry place to sit to wait for my coffee. The menu is different though and didn't have their famous black sesame latte which I was SO sad about :( I tried their hojicha latte instead and it was pretty good! I've been a huge fan of the Less and More kiosk, so when I heard that they had opened a store location, I had to go try. Located on 6th avenue, the shop is actually an open store that you encounter in the lobby of the building. Although spacious and with some seating, it isn't quite the study spot as the seating is small and more for chatting. Their menu is SLIGHTLY different than their kiosk menu, and they don't have any pastries (at least when I went). I decided to try their "Enjoyme" (a play on the Korean "injeolmi"--a Korean snack with roasted soybean powder) latte, and my boyfriend got their Cloud Cream Mocha. Both drinks were delicious. I love how creamy the top was, and it was lightly sweet, which only served to make the drink creamy (and not feeling like pure sugar). Each foam has its own character too, offering something slightly different, but nonetheless amazing. Super quick service and I would definitely recommend. Came here 3 mornings in a row while staying in Downtown Portland. It wasn't ever too busy the times I stopped by between 10-11am so didn't need to wait long for my drinks. I tried the tiramisu latte, black sesame latte and matcha latte. All 3 were excellent. The tiramisu latte was my favorite - the tiramisu cream wasn't too sweet. The black sesame cream was not overpowering in black sesame flavor. There are some baked goods available if you come early. I recent learned about Less and More through social media. The drinks looked so delicious that I made a point to stop by the next time I was downtown, and it was well worth the detour. The first time I tried the enjoy me latte, and on my second visit I opted for the tiramisu latte. Both were the perfect balance of sweet and rich, without being overpowering. I was so impressed by their house made cold foams. There are two small locations I know of, one indoors and one outdoors, and they are very close to each other. The only place in the U.S. I've been able to find ssuk latte and injeolmi latte! Ssuk is mugwort powder which is green in color and has a bitter taste on its own. Ssuk latte will have sugar and your choice of milk. You can add espresso for some caffeine. Enjoy me latte has injeolmi powder which is made out of soybeans. This latte already comes with espresso and topped with sweet foam. I highly recommend trying these Korean based drinks while you're around Portland and someone let me know if these drinks exist somewhere else in the U.S.!! read more

Always wanted to try this place and so since we were in the area, finally got a chance to. I believe this is the new location that is set up inside a building rather then the subway stop set up. Walked in around 2:30pm, it wasn't busy at all. It was just me, my friend and two other customers. The barista was very friendly. While we took our order, he had started making it and so we don't wait that long for them about 5 mins or so. Ended up ordering three drinks, Cloud Custard Mocha Iced, Ssuk Latte and Maple Oat Latte. Cloud Custard Mocha Iced - custard on top is a nice addition to the mocha (make sure to stir it in to incorporate) Ssuk Latte - mugwort is hard to describe but in my options it's similar to matcha but more on the minty side. Maple Oat Latte - I love a good latte, especially when it's lactose friendly and has some sweetness to it. You can taste the hint of maple in the latte. read more

Shout out to the guy who made my coffee and was so nice. I finally got to try the Cloud Custard Coffee and WOW is it delicious. I will admit that I saw it on TikTok and knew I had to give it a try but I wasn't ever in the neighborhood. Finally I can cross it off my list! My croissant was warm and buttery and I was blown away by how much I really enjoyed the fluffy nature of the cloud coffee.
