    Einspanner latte
    Daphne S.

First of all, not tiramisu latte here. You can get the einspanner latte which was similar. The barista was a little mean about me asking as if everyone asks her all day every day and she has to say no go walk two blocks south. How was I supposed to know?? Anyways, the shot is tucked inside a hotel lobby. There is room for maybe 5 people to sit. Not an ideal sit and catch up with a friend spot. It's also pretty cold being that it's next to the doors. Also it's pretty overpriced.

Great coffees shop in the lobby of a building. Unique coffee drinks and quick service.

I really wanted to experience the coffee scene in Portland and this was highly suggested! I got the Enjoyme latte and if I remember correctly, it's a latte inspired by a traditional korean dessert called injeolmi. The bitterness of the latte was complimented by the injeolmi! It's a different take on coffee and I liked it a lot. Service was nice! He was helpful and suggested what was popular among people. It's a tiny cafe as a heads up! It's quiet, cute and nice to stop by quickly for some good quality coffee! I will definitely be back next time!

Amazing Asian-inspired coffee shop that is on par with those in LA! I visited this coffee shop on an Early Memorial Day Monday. The café actually opened earlier than expected. On the hours on their window, it said they opened at 10am, but I was able to visit around 8:30am. Walking-in, the coffee shop seemed to be located in a little corner of a bigger building and it was open with no door. It was aesthetic with the modern and simple designs with a couple of seats. I ordered the Cloud Custard Mocha and it was delicious. It was creamy, not too sweet, and had the perfect amount of espresso flavor. The custard cream itself was light and yummy tasting. Mixed with the espresso, it was very good. I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone visiting the Downtown Portland area and I would love to try their other unique drinks one day.

3.5! Service is quick despite it being one person. Good cold brew, not too acidic and has nice body. Friend got the black sesame latte and said it was good.

They have a brick and mortar now! A few blocks from their stand shop. Menu is a bit different but still has creative and delicious drinks. We got the hot Custard Latte and iced Custard Mocha. Both were rich and smooth. A perfect pick-me-up. Small shop but super modern and chill. Will definitely be back!

In support of AAPI heritage month, I wanted to check out an Asian-owned cafe, so when I found Less and More Coffee ii (L&M2) located right across from my hotel in downtown Portland, I naturally had to stop by. The owner himself, Ryan Jie Jiang, was at the helm of the cafe preparing pour-overs. Notes: ~ Cafe situated inside lobby of a building on SW 6th Ave and SW Yamhill St (steps away from Pioneer Courthouse Square) ~ Hours of operation: Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM ~ Beans used to be roasted by Joe (Wenboe) Yang before he moved to Seattle ~ Only menu available was a laminated sheet on the counter which means you have to wait until you get to the front counter (should consider having a menu on the top back wall) ~ Mochi donuts sourced from HeyDay Doughnuts (they no longer have a brick and mortar store, but still do pop-ups from every so often) ~ Place looks like it could comfortably seat about 14 people ~ Love that they offered non-coffee drinks for those who aren't fans of coffee ~ Alternative milk options are only oat and soy. Subbing out the regular milk for one of these is an extra $1.00 ~ Loyalty program offered which is great for regulars Food/Drinks: * Hojicha Latte ($7.25) - love hojicha (Japanese roasted green tea) and this L&M2 latte comes with a double shot espresso! I usually like to adjust the sweetness level of my drinks, but glad I didn't as the agave balanced the coffee and hojicha flavors. I did ask for oat milk though. It would have been nice if the hojicha came through more, but coffee is stronger than tea. * Ssuk Latte ($6.50) - Nice to see mugwort offered here! It is a Korean leafy herb that is usually harvested in late March and April to obtain the best flavor as foraging it later almost guarantees a bitter flavor. I convinced my partner to try ssuk since he's never heard of it before. For this L&M2 drink, ssuk has been grounded into powder form and he chose oat milk. Very earthy and herbaceous. * Baked Black Sesame Mochi Donut ($3.50) - my partner and I are very partial to black sesame, so when we laid our eyes on this while waiting in line, I knew we had to get one to try. One bite into this donut left us impressed with the texture. The baker of these donuts added more rice flour which made it more mochi-like. We've had mochi donuts before, but the texture was never as chewy as we would like. HeyDay did a great job capturing the texture. If we didn't already have lunch plans right after, I would have bought the baked ube donut. The popular drinks are certainly the Cloud Custard Coffee and Pour-overs. This is a coffee shop I see myself visiting again next time I'm in downtown Portland. I'm also looking forward to checking out the menu offerings from their first location - a kiosk that's only a couple of blocks from this indoor cafe.

OMG their Injeolmi latte was the BEST latte I've ever had. I love the taste of the familiar traditional, Korean drink with some caffeine - it was a great start to the day! The Location can be easy to miss, but it is tucked into a corner through double doors. I loved the minimal space and design. There are a few seats, but also recommend getting it to go and walking around the city. The staff is very friendly and if you don't know what to get, they have the best recommendations

I mistakenly went to Less and more ii instead of their other location. However, it was a pleasant surprise, as I had such a wonderful experience. This location is located inside of an office building. It's small, but efficient. It's very modern and chic with a few places to sit. I went during the morning rush, so it was a bit of a line; however, the baristas quickly prepared everyone's order. I opted to try a caramel mocha. They only offer one size coffee cups and prices are decent. My caramel mocha was delicious. It was crafted perfectly. You can tell this coffee shop has a passion for what they do. Each drink uniquely crafted and made to perfection. If you're in the area, be sure to check them out! There are two locations and the menus vary, but both locations are exceptional!

I was seriously disappointed by this coffee shop, especially after seeing it all over TikTok. When my boyfriend and I walked in, it looked really promising--they hand-whisk both the matcha and hojicha, which had me excited. But somehow, it still missed the mark. My matcha was a really light green, and I was expecting at least a deeper shade. On the bright side, I could still taste the matcha, probably because I ordered it sweetened with agave. Honestly, if I had gotten it with agave and vanilla, I don't think I would've tasted the matcha at all. I feel like they add way too much milk. I'd rather have a smaller cup with a better payoff, especially for $6.50. As for the hojicha, I think it needed to be stronger. It totally got overshadowed by the two shots of espresso. You definitely have to ask for it to be sweetened. I'm glad my boyfriend and I gave it a try, and I think we'd come back to try some of their other lattes. But if I do spend the money again, I'll definitely be asking for an extra shot.

Came here 3 mornings in a row while staying in Downtown Portland. It wasn't ever too busy the times I stopped by between 10-11am so didn't need to wait long for my drinks. I tried the tiramisu latte, black sesame latte and matcha latte. All 3 were excellent. The tiramisu latte was my favorite - the tiramisu cream wasn't too sweet. The black sesame cream was not overpowering in black sesame flavor. There are some baked goods available if you come early. I liked the unique options on the menu, and would definitely come back when I'm in town.

I've been a huge fan of the Less and More kiosk, so when I heard that they had opened a store location, I had to go try. Located on 6th avenue, the shop is actually an open store that you encounter in the lobby of the building. Although spacious and with some seating, it isn't quite the study spot as the seating is small and more for chatting. Their menu is SLIGHTLY different than their kiosk menu, and they don't have any pastries (at least when I went). I decided to try their "Enjoyme" (a play on the Korean "injeolmi"--a Korean snack with roasted soybean powder) latte, and my boyfriend got their Cloud Cream Mocha. Both drinks were delicious. I love how creamy the top was, and it was lightly sweet, which only served to make the drink creamy (and not feeling like pure sugar). Each foam has its own character too, offering something slightly different, but nonetheless amazing. Super quick service and I would definitely recommend. (A big plus is that it's right next to Pioneer Square, so you can grab a quick coffee while in the area!)

Took my friend to less & more for her first time and she really like this spot. I got the cloud custard mocha and it tasted as good as I remembered, my friend got the maple oat latte and ssuk latte. Ssuk latte was good, we had to give it some thoughts because we didnt really know to how to describe the flavor, its earthy slightly grainy slightly sweet with a hint of grass (?) all I know is mugwort is healthy for you haha.

This reminds me of the Korean cafes that are sprinkled all over Southern California. We were delighted to see it here! I ordered a black sesame late and a black sesame mochi donut. Being only one barista, right after you order, he makes your drink immediately. You can hear and see the espresso shots being made and the ice filling your cups. Dependent on your order, he pulls out the cream for the top. I can see the black sesame cream top being very thick and full. A lot of patrons were ordering their tiramisu latte, and I don't blame them! It's what is very popular here. Personally, I enjoyed the black sesame latte very much. It was the perfect amount of cream and sweetness. The taste didn't overpower the coffee, which is nice. Their mochi donuts were good, too, with the consistency of mochi dough. They are located outdoors within a repurposed trimet station, which add such a a unique Portland touch to their vibe. Although usually a 1-2 person operation, drinks always come out relatively quick! I tried the tiramisu latte and the black sesame latte. The tiramisu latte was easily my favorite. The cream top is rich and delicious, and when mixed into the coffee it really tastes like a classic tiramisu dessert. It's sweet, smooth, and feels like a treat without being overwhelming. The black sesame latte was also great, especially if you like nutty flavors. It has a natural sweetness with a deep roasted sesame taste that almost reminds me of peanut butter, making it both comforting and unique. I've also had their regular latte before and really appreciate the quality of their espresso. The coffee itself has a smooth, balanced flavor that stands out even without added syrups or toppings. A great spot to visit if you enjoy creative specialty drinks but still want genuinely good coffee underneath it all.

It manages to be effortlessly cool without being intimidating, and the quality of the coffee is consistently top-tier. Here is why it's my favorite corner of the Pearl District: The Coffee Curation: What sets Barista apart is that they are a multi-roaster cafe. They feature a rotating selection of the best beans from across the country (and locally!). Whether you're drinking a pour-over or a traditional macchiato, the flavor profiles are always distinct and expertly pulled. Masterful Latte Art: The baristas here are true artists. Every drink looks like a masterpiece, but more importantly, the milk texture is always silky and perfectly steamed. The Aesthetic: The space is stunning. With its dark wood accents, industrial-chic lighting, and those massive windows looking out onto the cobblestone streets of the Pearl, it's the perfect spot to people-watch or get lost in a book. It feels like a cozy, sophisticated library for coffee lovers. The Staff: Despite being one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They are always happy to nerd out about tasting notes or help you pick a bag of beans to take home. The Vibe: It's a great balance of "neighborhood regular" and "must-visit destination." It captures that classic Portland energy perfectly. Pro Tip: Pair your drink with one of their fresh pastries--their selections are always fresh and complement a bold espresso perfectly. The single origin had some promise, with some pleasant acidity in the background, but it couldn't break through the bitter.
