This is an amazing farm by an amazing family near Lake Geneva. I've been going to Ron's farm for 7 years now off and on. He sells the very best Bison, and elk products I've ever enjoyed. Actually his farm supplied me of my very first taste of these type of meats. This time his grandson sold us some caribou (it'll be another first). His farm is one of the only places to carry Amish products as well. We were able to pick up some salted Amish butter, caribou burgers, ground bison, and a normal sized amish chicken. It's a short lovely drive from the city and an escape from our home( during this social distancing). Quality products, friendly family, and good food!

For weeks my husband and I had been searching for a bison farm that wasn't too far of a drive for us. One day we took a Wednesday off from work and went for a ride on the Harley. While on the way to breakfast in Bristol at the 45 Diner (a regular for us), we saw a billboard advertising Lester's Bison Farm. After some eggs and pancakes in Bristol, we hit the road for Lester's. Lester's was easy to find and the row of flags along his driveway led us to the gift shop atop the hill, past the heard of bison. Ron Lester is a proud Marine Corp veteran, friendly and honest. He is a true American raising an American icon. We probably spent an hour at his property, much of which was in conversation with Ron. I look forward to the next visit very soon.

Tomahawk steaks are great and not full of all the antibiotics in cattle today. Store right on Ron's ranch

They had such an adorable set up in a cute cabin and the photographer was really great with my boys. The bunny was friendly and had a kind face that was welcoming to my toddler twin boys! It was rainy and muddy, but the family that owns the farm was so kind and welcoming! They had baby chicks that the kids could pet and had set up a great egg hunt around the farm! My boys were very interested in the chickens and goats! I definitely hope to visit Godsell Farm in the future and would highly recommend to anyone else as well!

You park in the lot and walk to the Welcome Center to pay the $5 per person admission, which includes the hayride with hay bales (not lame wooden benches with a few strands of straw on it like most places), haunted maze, bread for feeding the farm animals and touring the grounds. Pumpkins range in price from $3 to $6, and you pick them in patch. Animals include horses, ponies, pigs, a llama, a donkey, a cow, turkeys, goats, chickens, and ducks. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly! Godsell Farm is my new favorite place for pumpkin picking and affordable Fall family fun! It is a MUST visit! You still have time this year yet!

If you're looking for the perfect pumpkin patch go here! I searched long and hard for a place that…read morewasn't overcrowded, didn't have animal rides or ridiculous pig races and landed here. Boy boi did it surprise me. Crowds: they limit tickets into their farm meaning it doesn't feel like you stepped into Disney land with insane crowds. Busy enough to feel exciting but not where you're bumping into people left and right. Cornmaze: the HIGHLIGHT of our visit. This isn't any ordinary corn maze. They have an entire scavenger hunt that connects to their app. So you have to find 14 question and scan the QR code to answer. If you find all 14 (it's a hunt) and get all the questions right you're entered into a raffle. We had SO much and found all 14. It was such a fun bonding experience for our family. Pumpkins, mums, and more: the pumpkins and mums felt very reasonably priced. And the mums were HUGE and healthy compared to getting them at the big stores. We also enjoyed some hot cocoa, hot apple cider and kettle corn. All delicious. Animals: I'm an animal activist and reduce to visit places where animals are forced to provide entertainment. This place had a petting zoo but didn't allow kids inside and there was no actual animals rides. Thank you Kroll's. We ended our trip with the hay ride which was also a treat and perfect way to relax before leaving. So stop what you're doing and pay them a visit! The cutest pumpkin patch
