A free let's roast sticker I received with the Shops Demo DVD, (I recommend buying the Demo 100%)

Let me start by saying IAN at let's roast cycles is a stellar dude and his knowledge and willingness to help is a breath of fresh air. You walk into a bike shop now a days and there's is a 50/50 chance you will be dealing with a person who doesn't even want to help or deal with you or your bike. At let's roast cycles it is ran by passionate individuals who are here to keep this city riding . I paid 4$ for a crank bolt at another shop prior to stopping by, and not that I mind paying 4$ for a bolt stuff costs money I get it. But let's roast just put the bolt on out of the kindness and willingness to help. I spent my money on other great items in store, and I will be back pay day to purchase parts from them solely for the atmosphere COMPETITIVE & BETTER PRICING than danscomp or other online retailers on parts they could easily be making 10% up sale on. If that isn't for the people idk what is. L. B. B stands for life behind bars ' not prison bars . Handle bars. I live by this motto and riding BMX has kept me out of trouble and given me an outlet since I was 11 years old .Shout out to you guys doing the same for others with a helping hand. Being a city native I know personally there is a BUNCH of bike shops but not many at all who cater to BMX riders. For the fact that Let's Roast exists in this city is a godsend because everyone who rides knows we need a shop like this. By riders for riders. Let's roast has my business until I can't pedal anymore ' thanks for reading

I was in this shop yesterday. Fist and foremost, very customer oriented. I picked out a set of wheels, added some basic accessories and a helmet all under $600.00. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the bike is sick. I was not pressured to buy above reasonable prices, plus they honored my Veteran status and afforded me a discount. Very personable and attentive. You can tell they are true riding enthusiast that enjoy engaging with the average rider to give the the most comfort and best price for their experience. Unlike other bike stores I have written reviews for. Go spend your money here - you will not be disappointed!

Picked up this sick Fit Bike Co FB22 whip to hammer in the parks and dirt. Go see Let's Roast Cycles and buy a bike!

Super kind folks here. Went to buy something small and asked silly questions but they never made me feel silly.

I have to give a shout out to the village cycle center…read more I've been getting increasingly into cycling over the last couple years as it seems to be the only kind of fitness that doesn't absolutely wreck my body. And at the end of last season I decided it was time to upgrade the fx3 (which I also got from VCC during covid). Now for the last 8 months I've been browsing trek.com, specialized.com, reddit, facebook marketplace, etc., trying to get a sense of what I want. I'll say considering most bike manufacturers have a large range of bikes for each model, the marketing folks then don't do a particularly great job explaining the differences. Enter VCC. I stopped by because I wanted to know if I was 56 or 58cm, with a plan to go buy used in the approximate $2000 range. My man Tim spent maybe 2-3 hours with me walking me through the entire range of trek road bikes, teaching me the differences among the gearsets, alloys used in the frames, the brakes, etc. It really made me confident in terms of zeroing in on the bike that would fit my needs. And it just so happened they had a prior year model at a price that was close-ish to my original budget (lol). Walked home with a new Domane SL5, and now something like 6 weeks and 500+ miles later I'm a pretty happy camper.

Gears are back to shifting smoothly and they cleaned it well so it is like new. They even added new tape to the handlebars. Very happy with the service and will continue coming back! Once they previously helped me install some pedals I bought there for free. Just above and beyond what you get at other local bike shops I've been to sometimes.

In response to the (mostly) positive reviews to this place, I trusted them to provide quality…read moreservice. My rating is due to bike service issues, not personnel. The workers were what you'd expect as far as being nice - but the mechanics are amateur at best. After my first disappointment with their routine "maintenance service", I wanted to give them another shot with my brakes. After all, I yearn to have a good relationship with a local bike shop. And sadly, it's a bigger disappointment than my first visit. I asked for them to bleed both brakes. I received a call saying they're "fine" and suggested NOT bleeding brakes; but the pads and rotors were caked in oil and other residue (I cleaned them both 3 days ago). But I figured you gotta trust the pros, right? Wrong. I figured they'd replace the pads, clean the rotors and call it a day. After all, I hadn't sanded the pads this past time and they are getting old (10 months). Nope, just VERY poorly sanded the existing brake pads, cleaned the rotor below my normal standard and was charged nearly $50. For that. To sand 4 little brake pads and (presumably) apply some rubbing alcohol to the rotors. $50. Look at the picture of the brake pads after they serviced them. Lmao. I could have done that for $2 at home since all I need is a little more rough sand paper. Ha. And no, it didn't help my brakes at all. They produced very little friction, we're extremely loud and there was even a clicking noise from my drivetrain on my ride home I haven't even diagnosed yet. I just had to write this review. Ha. Should have just told them to screw off and bleed the damn brakes. To me, it's simple. This is a classic big city bike shop that is money hungry. $50 for that is LAUGHABLE. I could take this to my hometown bike shop and for that money they'd do a bleed, drivetrain clean, fork pressurization, frame clean, etc. And after all that, I still need my brakes bled. They didn't do it. Ha. EDIT: Attached is the video of my new wheel sound! I think it's just the dork disk, but still.
