Omg this is the place for the best Chinese food they are super nice and always so gracious. The food is always consistent. First time here yesterday, it's a really small place more for takeout which is what I went for. The lady who took my order was nice and even gave my daughter a cookie which she really enjoyed lol I ordered the Beef Lo Mein and it's good. The portion was generous and the order was ready within 10 minutes. (We just waited inside) I asked for Chili Oil once I got my order and the guy said it was going to be $1- I am glad I had enough change. I wouldn't get the chili oil next time only because it tasted a bit different. We used to go here when I was a kid and I kinda forgot about this place due to a bomb Chinese place near me took all my money. Well they closed and I figured I would give this place a try again and I'm glad I did. This place still has great food and friendly staff. The only thing I don't understand about Chinese restaurants is when they tell you 20 minutes you get there in 25 minutes and your food is not done. Yummy in all ways. I called shortly before closing and they were very sweet and happy to take the order. I showed up and was greeted with a friendly smile. Don't let the small size of the shop fool you. There are many menu options and portion sizes are generous. This food tastes really good! Some of the best Chinese I have ever had. Egg drop soup, crab rangoon, beef and vegetables, lo mein, General Tso's chicken, fried rice- all were delicious! The lady was all smiles and cared that we were happy with our choices. Under new management... Not for the better. They no longer have the Chicken teriyaki appetizer, and everything has changed. I got chicken & veggies, and crab rangoon. The crab rangoon was overstuffed with mostly just cream cheese, with hardly a drop of crab. Also, they added something to make it more sweet, as opposed to savory. Egg rolls changed completely - no longer the "peanut butter" egg rolls they used to have. Kinda just taste like the kind you can get in the frozen section at a grocery store. Basically, they just made everything taste like all the other mediocre/bad Chinese places out there. Also, the food gave me a horrible migraine, upset stomach, and made me really grumpy. Tried this place out first time today. the prices were very good for the portions we got and the quality of the food is AMAZING! I have had food from other places and usually there is something not quite right, but here even the rice was perfect. the delivery was very fast and it was all still fresh and hot. Today we ordered from here and the language barrier was so bad that even after calling back twice to ask where our food was, we never received our food. I guess they're under new management now and my 2 favorite things have been changed for the worse. I always get the beef lo mein (you have no idea how much it upsets me that it's changed) and the beef fried rice. The lo mein now uses thick pasta noodles and tastes like beef ramen. The beef fried rice looks darker, is mushy and has an overpowering beef flavor like I bit into a beef bouillon cube. They're still "mostly" edible, but they're nothing like the dishes I fell in love with 4 years ago. I can't even finish eating it all. This food actually makes me emotionally sad. I've never thrown out my leftovers from them before, until today. I simply can't bring myself to eat it again. read more

General tso chicken was super sweet, kind of chewy, and not spicy at all. Egg rolls were greasy. Egg drop soup was extremely slimy. I felt like I was licking Slimer type of slimy. Eeww. Hidden gem in franklin park! The nice lady and who I assume is her husband are always happy to see you when you come in! Very loving atmosphere and the food is also very delicious!
