Honestly this food is amazing. Hands-down best Mongolian beef I have ever had . If you don't look carefully you might miss it. They have great customer service too. Every time I come I am treated very kindly. If you have to wait a minute or two they always apologize and thank you for waiting. I love coming here You can tell they care about their customers. I always take my food to go. I don't really recommend dining in on hot days - no ac when I went in June 2025.

I am on a quest to find a great, Cantonese-style casual Chinese restaurant in the suburbs. This place meets all the criteria except for having good food: the owners are a pleasant older couple, the place is worn and dated but clean, the portions are generous, and the prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area. Service sucked because they were busy with carryout orders and only the chef and the other owner (presumably his wife) were working. It's like going back to the 1970's for dinner, atmosphere and experience, which isn't a good thing. We had wonton soup, Yu Shing shrimp, orange chicken and tea for dinner. The soup was good; everything else was pretty flavorless. I was particularly surprised by the chicken whose orange sauce looked pale and tasted bland. Frankly the restaurant is no better than Panda Express.

Something out of a Christmas Story, super small mom and pop hole in the wall establishment, husband and wife duo with one manning the front and the other cook up each order Individually. Seating of only 9 tables it reminded me of a small town restaurant, quiet, quaint, and the feeling of being served in someone's personal home kitchen. Nothing fancy, retro old school chairs and table cloths. Don't expect superb service, but it's ok, because for the value, the food is authentic, simple, and was very enjoyable. Loved seeing a dinner "special" on the menu, which was a nice addition to a typical lunch special, fried rice and egg roll included. Was happy to support a local business.

We had General Tso's chicken, BBQ fried rice, shrimp fried rice, crab rangoons, and vegetable lo mein. The vegetable lo mein was a standout--flavorful, well-seasoned, and really delicious. The crab rangoons were also tasty and nicely crisp. The General Tso's chicken had good flavor, but the pieces were very large, which made them a bit harder to eat and less balanced with the sauce. It was off putting to me. The fried rice was okay overall, but it felt a bit plain. It could have used more ingredients mixed in--especially more egg--to give it more flavor and texture.

Li Hing serves fairly good Cantonese style food. However, the service was poor on my last visit to…read morethis restaurant. They seem to do more takeout orders than dine-in. Pickup service was extremely slow. I had placed my order at 5:35pm and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived at 6:00pm to find people using their dining tables to wait on their pickup order. I heard a lot of cooking going on in the kitchen, but not a lot of food was flowing out. It was about 6:30pm when I questioned why it was taking an hour and after threatening to cancel my order, it was miraculously ready within 5 minutes. I have a lot of patience, but waiting an excess of 30 minutes over the estimated time is unreasonable. I guess my first clue that there was a problem was that they didn't answer the phone until after a 3rd attempt when I tried to place my order. Thinking they were extremely busy, I noticed they weren't really busy at least to answer the phone while I was sitting there waiting for my order. They just simply let the phone ring. This could have been a way for them to slow down the orders and get the kitchen to catch up. I don't think that is a good strategy to run a successful restaurant. Food: 3/5. Service: 1/5.

I added boba and it was chewy and sweet as well. The thai ice coffee is made stroong but was pretty good. my husband said it was too sweet. the Vegetable Lo Mein was not bad but the vegetables used seemed really old. the noodles were good but I pretty much took out all the vegetables except for the broccoli. Would recommend getting the lo mein with a different topping. We got takeout. The only complaint I have would be how the drinks were packaged. They put straws in the drinks and put plastic wrap to cover the tops (I assume to stop it from spilling) but I would've preferred putting the straws in myself. They also put the drinks in a brown, paper bag but filled it with ice (to keep the drinks cold I assume, which they were). The ice was melting and I didn't know there was ice in there with the drinks so there was a puddle on my floor and I spilled the melted ice water on myself when I lifted the bag. It wasn't a huge deal but thought I would mention in case anyone plans to buy drinks for takeout.
