Secondly, the doctor told me I was fat because I gained 30 pounds out of no where due to medication and didn't have a heart problem (later diagnosed by another cardiologist with an actual brain with POTS, so go figure). Third time went in for a same day surgical clearance and for the first time in my 8-9 surgeries they wanted a chemical stress test, and a echocardiogram in order to clear me. Further delaying, cancelling my surgery. These tests are unnecessary, they're ridiculous. They go AGAINST guidelines, and the doctors there know that. When I attempted to ask questions around my symptoms and next steps, he refused to answer, citing that this was "a follow up appt". When I asked again for understanding of my results and issues, he told me that he did not have to answer my questions or review my tests with me. He offered me barely five minutes of time. He told the nurse to not bother taking my vitals. Neglectful care and abusive tone and behavior appear to be the standard from him - seek care from anyone else.

I have been trying since beginning of March to have my medical records transferred at. that time was told would take care of it. now March 31st and hasn't been done! when calling can't get through have to leave message and after two days no one returns call. Tried different areas and. only get music did get through to a nurse and put on hold for 15 minutes then was disconnected. can get through to billing but they can't help all can do is leave message for medical records. which ultimately medicAl record's doesn't follow through and contact me. This was a good practice but at this point would not recommend.

So I went to another one he would read down list of symptoms real fast and said you don't have this one or this one I had to stop him every time and say I have all those. I was in hospital they said follow up with him I said I'm not due till later they said tell him you need to be seen ASAP so he did 24 hour monitor and refused to see me earlier than due. So I went to dr shah told him I been passing out he did tests which I was past due for and came up with problem and solution. He dignosed me having pots ( intials of the word ). Bp would drop when I stood up. He also put me on med for heart rate. He said I should have these tests every so often. Other dr didn't even try find out why I was passing out I saw him several years and he did tests first time and that was it. I know a woman that saw dr shah she moved out of state but still come to Frederick to see him.
