    Iced Tiramisu Latte

Nice quick coffee shop! You order online or at the window then pick it up! There's no indoor seating but there's a few picnic style tables outside. The tiramisu latte was yummy! I would come back to try other lattes since they have a lot of specialty drinks. Fast service.

Such a weird vibe...but the drink was great. LOL I got the seasonal red velvet iced latte. Definitely a treat, but so yummy! not sure if they have another storefront, but this location is fully order ahead/takeout only. There are QR codes around the building if you need them. The drink came out relatively fast, albeit I went in the middle of a day on a Friday. Did not have the chance to interact with any workers, as the drinks are being made behind the scenes.

If you like dessert style coffee - this is the perfect spot. They have seasonal flavors and the lattes are delicious. They're on the sweeter side but that's how I like my coffee. It's pretty much takeout only without any seating, and they prefer order ahead. Worth trying if you're in the area!

Levant has a great iced latte menu, but they are designed to be pick-up only, so there is no bathroom and very limited food options. We needed breakfast, so we had to find somewhere nearby to go to. It also seems like their specialty menu is limited to iced coffees only, which is disappointing, especially as we're getting into colder weather. Edited to add that the owner seems a bit combative in the replies to reviews on Yelp, which gives weird vibes and would really make me question returning. I included details that I felt would be helpful to know when considering going to a coffee shop, like if they also sell food and have a restroom on-site. As someone who is driving ~40 minutes to try this restaurant, these are relevant points to me. I didn't intend these to be grievances, just comments on my experience there.

the drink menu is very fun, and when i say fun, i mean it's different than most places, and i love that. I also love the fact that you can ask for any of their seasonal iced lattes with either cold brew or latte format. I love that! the place was empty, and our drinks were made so quickly. the barista that made our drink was so nice. i wish i remembered his name, but this one is for you!! only reason i didn't give it 4 stars is because our PBJ Latte taste great, but it didn't taste like peanut butter, but it overall tasted really delicious, just wish it had more of a peanut butter taste to it.

I love this place! A little pricey, but it's incredibly good. I get one of these a week before I head into work. It's kinda weird -- you order online and never interact with anyone (I'm always there when they're not using the window). You just go inside and your drink will be sitting on the counter. This is so much more worth it than chain coffee. I appreciate how easy it is to customize. I highly recommend Levant!

Lived up to the hype. Dropped in for a coffee after seeing it go viral and I was so happy it was as good as everyone said it was. I got the tiramisu latte with oat milk which comes with a mascarpone cold foam. It's not overly sweet, the flavor is amazing. I also took a sip of the oreo one and it was amazing as well. There was a small line but the team move the line super fast. It's a small space so it's more grab and go, with a few tables outside if you can snag one. Will be back to try other flavors

Oh my this coffee was divine! Love anything banana & the flavor of this was perfectly balanced with the hazelnut. The syrups are top notch here. I appreciate that Levant offers fun cold brews in addition to interesting lattes. Cold brews deserve attention too, so I'm glad they offer exciting ones. I made the right call getting it half sweet, as it was on the sweeter side. The cold foam melted fast into the drink, which could have contributed. Tiny storefront, focused on pick up and to-go only. Didn't have any human interaction but my online order was waiting for me when I got there

I am going to miss the Roscoe location since they decided to expand and just keep the LP location. It was a pretty okay pick me up from time to time when I didn't want to venture off too far after daycare drop off. I've had a variety of flavors and some were or a hit or miss. Favs: Tiramisu Latte, Reese Latte Not so fav: Cold Brew Float

Made this my run destination and unfortunately it was not worth it. Not a fan of alternative milk being extra, and seeing the online ordering, dairy is also .25 more? I am not from the chicago area so maybe this is standard around here. I payed 8.60 for a 16oz honey baklava latte with oatmilk. Tad bit watery and I don't think I got the less ice that I asked for. Usually drink my coffee without sweetener, and I felt that the flavors were too overpowering and could not taste any coffee. Considering this is their most popular, this place is a no for me. Other than benches no seating inside, and no bathroom did leave me slightly devastated.

Recommended by my fiancé, I decided to stop by to grab coffee for my night shift in the hospital. This place is such a charming little cafe in Roscoe Village! Love their menu! They had such unique and delicious sounding lattes and cold brews it was so hard to choose one. I was immediately intrigued by their baklava latte cause I haven't seen that anywhere so I ordered a large. It was so delicious and smooth. The cinnamon in the cold foam is a great touch! Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

    oreo latte

I've been seeing Levant Coffee everywhere online so I thought it was about time to go check it out. While it was a tough choice between the tiramisu and oreo latte I ultimately opted for the oreo latte, iced. Don't get me wrong this was a good latte and the oreo flavor was definitely there but i couldn't really taste a good blend of the coffee and oreo flavor. It kinda just tasted like crème and after like 5 sips I was mostly hitting ice which made me feel like the $7.50 I paid for this latte wasn't exactly justified. However service was really quick and the barista was very nice which added back a star from my original 3 star review.

The tiramisu latte is 10/10. So delicious. The online ordering process was simple, order was ready right when I walked in. Did not look around much, but space was small and there are a few tables outside.

I've been a customer of almost 10 years and have been obsessed since they first opened their doors at a different location. I literally live an hour away without traffic and even longer with traffic, but I make sure to stop by or send someone else to get it for me at least once a month or more. I love the amazing cakes that are so delicious and unique but on top of that, it is Asian owned, LGBTQ supporting, etc. A lot has changed since their little storefront with no seating. The bakery is now a full on cafe and I'm so happy to see how much they've grown and how successful they are. And while it is glorious, I will say I miss the sweet neighborhood charm and great customer service it used to have. Getting in touch with the bakery through phone or text can be tough and to be honest, sometimes one of the people working there is kind of...very mean. It had me questioning if I should keep coming back. I just love this bakery so much though and being raised by parents that had a small food business, I can't help but want to support. I had a particularly difficult last minute request for the bakery a few weeks ago and I was reminded why this place is so great. It had been YEARS since I made this specific request, which was an order for a slice of cake for every flavor and a cupcake for every flavor. This is a BIG and time consuming request, especially if it's last minute. Unfortunately I come to the city whenever the traffic isn't atrocious, so it's always last minute. Dom absolutely pulled through though. Even though there were other employees there (I saw two others but one disappeared and then another male was kind of walking around the cafe and such), Dom took this giant request and fulfilled it himself. The other gentleman (not the mean person previously mentioned) was actually who I made the request to, but he told Dom to do it. I was kind of confused why they didn't do it together but idk, maybe the other guy isn't allowed to handle food? Who knows. Regardless, this request obviously took a long time and the line was getting longer; people were getting a little restless but Dom stayed calm but was swift. I swear he was moving faster than most people in the industry could with a cake knife like that. He was not impatient or rude to me at all. He was just there to do his job as fast and well as possible. It's so rare to see that type of work ethic. He is also so obviously proud of the bakery and the food they serve which makes you feel good about being a patron there. So although I continue to have an unpleasant experience with one particular employee there, Dom keeps my love for this bakery alive. He reminds me of what this bakery was like when they first opened their doors. I hope Dom is cherished there and I bet he is considering his work ethic. I will continue to support this bakery and I recommend everyone else to support as well. It may not be that small little shop anymore but Dom is a reminder of the heart of the place.

Thankfully they still had their famous breakfast sandwiches by the time I ordered (even though they normally stop selling them at noon). Got a couple drinks- Ube Latte and the Corn Maiz Tea Latte. I'll preface by saying that the Corn Maiz drink was my favorite thing I got from Kasama. It has a strong corn flavor that blends perfectly with the milk tea. This is a 10/10 no notes. Ube latte was also tasty. For food I ordered a ton of things: -Longanisa Egg and Cheese Sandwich w a hash brown: was surprisingly just okay IMO. Egg is very uniquely fluffy, more like a steamed egg than a scramble! The rest of the sandwich was tasty but nothing special. -Filipino Breakfast Platter w both meats: the Tocino is delish! IMO the better of the two breakfast meats. Garlic rice is good, but i always love garlic rice. -Italian Beef Eggrolls: so crispy and delicious with the gardeneira dipping sauce! Weekends only item- be sure to try! -Lumpia: so crispy and flavorful, they really fry things well here. -Matcha Pandan Eclair: the choux was pipped on top, and was so fluffy and delicious. The crispy rice inside the shell added a fun texture. This was my favorite pastry! -Truffle Croissant: lamination was good, flavors were a bit weird. Was overly sweet from the rock sugar + honey, so much that it overpowered the truffle IMO which is hard to do. -Guava and cheese ensaymada: very fluffy brioche with yummy filling. This was good, really wanted to try the ube one but they were out :( -Ube and Huckleberry basque cake: very rich! Was suggested this instead of the ube ensaymada and it was definitely more huckleberry than ube. Tasty though. Overall this spot was good and certain things (corn maiz drink, pandan eclair, Italian beef eggrolls) were worth the wait while others are overhyped. I would definitely order ahead next time for take out or sit inside- cute indoor and outdoor seating options!

I bought 3 and my friend got 2. Calamansi cream + pistachio paste danish was my favorite. The Calamansi cream was the perfect texture and density with a fragrant citrus note. When I took a sip of coffee afterwards it made my coffee taste like I was drinking fresh orange juice. The pistachio is more cake like inside than full paste and isn't too sweet. Flaky dough, soft pistachio center and creamy top with a sharp citrus cut. Peach + raspberry Melba danish. The peaches were soft. I'm not familiar with a Melba dessert but the center of this was almond paste which is not my favorite but if you like almond and tart danish it would hit the spot. Raspberry espresso cream cheese cinnamon roll was a fun fruity twist to a cinnamon roll. Couldn't really tell there was espresso though. Blueberry lime cheesecake danish. I also liked this one because of the lime. It really cuts through the heaviness. The fruits on top were also fresh. They also have one day old blind boxes. I grabbed a 6 piece day old box to go and it was actually 6 different pasteries, half sweet and half savory! It only repeated 1 of the pasteries I had originally tried so I'm excited to try more, especially the savory ones. It's an amazing deal if you just want to try a variety of flavors. Tried the Hot dog danish - really good! Upscale pigs in a blanket vibes. The tiny fried are seasoned perfectly and add a fun crunch. I went on a weekday and there was still a good selection of pastries left around 11am. The staff was super nice and helpful as I struggled to make a decision. They shared that the strawberry milk croissant was their bestseller, so I opted for that. It was filled with fresh strawberry mascarpone and fresh strawberry puree. Despite the croissant's decadent appearance, it was not at all too sweet. I'm not typically the biggest croissant fan (I know, I know, no one is perfect) but this pastry blew me away. The filling was super generous without overpowering the delicate dough, which was baked to crispy perfection. The cake tasting was a wonderful experience, giving us plenty of delicious options to choose from while helping us create the perfect cake for our special day. Throughout the entire process, their communication was outstanding. They kept us informed every step of the way and worked directly with our wedding venue, "Firehouse Chicago", to coordinate the delivery and logistics. Everything was handled seamlessly, and our cake arrived exactly as planned without a single issue. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Bittersweet's professionalism, organization, and proactive approach gave us one less thing to worry about. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service truly stood out. One feature we especially love is that they keep the recipe and design of your wedding cake on file. Every anniversary, they can recreate your wedding cake or a cake in any size you choose. We've continued this tradition, and each anniversary cake has been just as delicious as the original while bringing back wonderful memories of our wedding day. If you're looking for a bakery that is responsive, dependable, and delivers an outstanding product, I highly recommend Bittersweet Bakery for your wedding cake or any bakery needs. They responded promptly to our questions and requests, unlike some businesses that never replied to estimate inquiries. Their customer service and quality were truly exceptional. A heartfelt thank you to Samuel who conducted the Cake Tasting and the entire staff at Bittersweet Bakery for helping make our dream wedding a reality. We will always be grateful and look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries with your incredible cakes.
