This is such a great spot to go to and order a bunch of different appetizers to share. We loved their hummus and got a few other items too. There wasn't anything we tried there and didn't like. The drinks were amazing too, they have a mixologist who made great mocktails and cocktails! Honestly it's hard finding a spot that makes enjoyable mocktails because most of the time it's just sugar overload but I really enjoyed the ones he made for me.

Two Sundays ago hubby and I tried out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! The service, food and ambiance -- with Bossa Nova covers playing in the background -- was just the vibe we needed for a Sunday afternoon :) It was a perfect setting and timing, as we got to choose from the once a year "Taste the Gables" 3-course menu! Definitely give it a try!

This restaurant is located where "Swine" used to be, for those who may recall it. It's 2-stories, with no elevator. A nicely decorated entry at its main level with bar and some tables make the place feel inviting and fun for quick bites and drinks. The second floor has a private events room, which on the day of our visit was being used, it looked like fun but way too many guests for the room size therefore some were hanging out just outside, which is where the dining tables are located, it didn't bother us, but some diners might mind the crowd and noise level as the music from the event room competes with the restaurant music playing. Service and food were very good, our waitress was very friendly and made great suggestions. Salmon skewers and lamb shops were our favorite as well as the appetizers, definitely try this Mediterranean restaurant for a cozy, unique vibe.

Levant is beautifully decorated! This was my first time here and the food didn't disappoint. I will say drinks came out all separately and one of our drinks actually took way too long to come. The food was very delicious and tasty. I went with a group of 6 and ordered mostly all apps. My favorite was the SAGANAKI CHEESE, LAHMAJOUN and the Pita all delicious! I had the chicken skewer and it was cooked perfect and juicy. There was a private party on top floor so the music got very loud but overall I would recommend coming !

Levant in Coral Gables is the real deal. In a city full of "Mediterranean" spots that water down or outright steal an entire culture, this beautiful restaurant on Ponce stands out with authentic Arabic food you can taste. Owned by an Iraqi brother and sister, every bite reflects deep roots and a shared love for the rich, diverse flavors of the Levant. My boyfriend and I popped in for a quick lunch, and from the food to the cocktails, everything was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back for more!

Visited midweek for a Time left dinner, the location is perfect right on Miracle Mile. Lots of street parking option nearby. It wasn't too busy on a Wed night. Service was great and attentive. The server was able to split our checks easily. Food came out quickly and tasted very good. It was a bit on the expensive side but I guess that's just the neighborhood it's in. They have a full upstairs area that turns into a speakeasy on the weekends. Beautiful decor.

Everything was amazing! Service was great, good atmosphere and food was delicious. We started with the cabbage rolls and the grape leaves both are very very good! The trio dip is amazing especially the red dip. The Kibbeh is a must get and the bread too! The veggies and lamb in the pot is delicious and super filling. Rice comes on the side and it comes with bread too. The flavors were amazing. Both lamb kabobs were great I prefer the pistachio one because the other was a little spicy. Will be coming back soon. Miami needs more spots like this.

This place was a dope experience. The decor & ambiance was very unique, artistic, & vibely. The food was amazing. They serve FRESH baked bread (I raved about this for weeks) & food. I got some chocolate baklava to go & was again taken aback by how amazing the flavor palette was. Everythiiiiing was flavorful and tasty. It's a cool place to take your friends & family to chill, admire, & dine. The Iraqi cuisine far exceeded my expectations from the food to the mocktails.

Levant decor screams out elegance. This restaurant was the perfect place to take my friend who was visiting Florida. The host greeted us right away, looked into our reservation and took us to our table right away. We of course started with an expresso martini which was made to perfection. Then ordered some appetizer which were all delicious and so tasty.

It's amazing, The Kebab was super soft and colorful. Waiters are super kind and gentle.

This is a cool spot for halal Mediterranean "fancy" dinner. However, the high prices don't reflect the quality/taste of the food or the service. We enjoyed the hummus and bread quite a bit - the bread was fresh and fully inflated, which is fun. The rest of the meal was alright/average. We got a traditional Labanese dish and a regular American burger, and overall it's not a place we'd visit again but not bad to try out!

Christmas lunch at Levant did not disappoint. The food, service and ambiance was everything we needed. I brought my family here and they loved it. Dana was great and so was Mo, Manuel and the entire staff. Please be sure to check them out and enjoy!

I'd been eager to try Levant since they opened about eight to ten months ago, but barely ever visit the Gables. I was so excited about it in fact that I sent my sister and brother-in-law there during Miami Spice (they loved it). I finally had the chance to visit a few weeks ago on a Thursday night later in the evening after a networking event. We didn't have a reservation and I was concerned they wouldn't be able to seat our party of four, but luckily, there was one table available. Unlike at many Miami restaurants, the staff greeted us warmly when we walked in, which was a very nice touch. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated but feels cozy and not stuffy or pretentious. To start, I had the Midnight Kiss mocktail. It was a little on the sweeter side, but still good. For our appetizer, we shared the Trio Mezzo which consists of Hummus, Muhammara and Cretan Feta. It was delicious! When it came time to order out entrees, I had the Pistachio Kabab, and the other ladies ordered the burger, and the Pumpkin Dolma. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Although we hadn't intended to order dessert, the staff graciously sent the Chef's Choice over, on the house. Overall, the experience at Levant was perfect and I would undoubtedly return!

The moment we walked in, we were transported right back to Greece. The décor is beautiful and authentic without feeling forced. Every detail adds to the charm of the space. We decided to keep things light and ordered the zucchini chips along with a special appetizer featuring whipped feta, roasted eggplant, arugula, and pistachios. Both dishes were excellent. The whipped feta dish was bright, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the zucchini chips were perfectly cooked they were light, crisp, and addictive. My daughter ordered the non-alcoholic dragon fruit "martini" and absolutely loved it. It was tropical, refreshing, and felt like a special treat. I went with the white sangria. It tasted a little more watered down than I expected, but it was still refreshing and enjoyable on a warm Miami afternoon. The service was excellent throughout our visit, and the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a stop. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, and attentive staff, Mandolin is a place I'll happily return to the next time I'm in Miami.

Seating is mostly outdoors and beautifully decorated, definitely a nice selection for an intimate event. Service was wonderful! The spanakopita was nicely flaky, the spinach filling wasn't overly bitter or pungent (my boyfriend is not a fan of strong feta flavors and enjoyed this while I am a feta enthusiast, we felt that this was right in the middle of our demands which worked great). We both love moussaka which is what my boyfriend ended up getting, dare we say it was our favorite moussaka out of any Greek restaurant in America thus far (coming from New Yorkers frequently visiting Astoria). It was broiled to perfection to give the cheese/béchamel layer a light crunch at the top and maintaining that richness underneath. The eggplant and ground meat were well seasoned. I really enjoyed my stuffed peppers as well (rice pilaf, ground beef, and feta on top), the tomato broth/sauce gave a nice sweet and savory flavor with the meal. Finally, a superb pistachio baklava, 10/10. Super impressed with what Miami had to offer for Mediterranean.

Even after paying, the staff continued to make sure we had water and asked if we needed anything else. This small gesture meant a lot. Sufrat has a great happy hour menu that ends at 6 PM. I tried the Moroccan Mojito, which was so refreshing. To eat, we tried the Shawarma Sushi and $1 chicken wing. The Shawarma Sushi name can be a bit misleading. It a wrap that was cut in form of sushi. It was good. I was hesitant about ordering chicken wings but I'm so glad we did because they were so delicious and crispy. They may have been the best chicken wing I've had. The service was excellent. I accidentally dropped my cocktail and they immediately cleaned it up and moved us to another clean table. I apologized for dropping it but not once did they made me feel bad about it. Instead, one of the staff stated it was an indication of having a great time. They also replaced my drink at no extra cost. A guy, who I assumed was the manager or owner, also passed by our table and ensured we were enjoying our time. Our server mistakenly brought me the wrong drink that I ordered, but I did not mind it because I actually loved the Moroccan Mojito and instead ordered another one. I also loved how they have copper cups because it makes water taste so much better. Their attention to small details like that makes the difference. Overall, I felt so welcomed and definitely have to return for more chicken wings.

We ordered the beef kabobs, which were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the ribeye steak was a major disappointment. We ordered it medium well, but it came out extremely overcooked, dry, and tough, with hard charred pieces on the outside. It was clear that steak is probably not their specialty. That said, we would still recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service, and many of the other menu items -- just skip the steaks.

For context, I worked in fine dining in New York and Miami for almost 20 years, so I notice the details immediately, hospitality, management presence, the energy of a room. You can usually tell pretty quickly what kind of operation you're dealing with. We were a party of five. I arrived with my four-year-old son and was greeted warmly by the hostess. That warmth ended instantly. Standing directly behind her were two managers in suits blocking the main entrance. Both looked straight at me and my child and said absolutely nothing. No hello, no smile, no acknowledgment. Anyone in hospitality knows that moment sets the tone. As an Arab woman who grew up around a culture where hospitality is everything, it was already a bad sign. We were seated outside and the vibe stayed cold. Unfortunately, the food matched it. We ordered a lot because I genuinely wanted to give the kitchen a fair shot. I grew up eating Lebanese food and what stood out most was the lack of soul. Everything felt flat, like it needed salt, lemon, brightness, that warm Mediterranean seasoning Lebanese food is known for. The tabouli was especially shocking. A $20+ tabouli with no bulgur that was so roughly chopped it was basically whole parsley leaves and slices of onion. Any Lebanese auntie would die at the sight of it. At one point I asked our server if they had harissa or any kind of spicy sauce. She said the only option was Sriracha. In a Lebanese restaurant that charges $18 for a tablespoon of hummus. An Asian chili sauce as the only option. What made it even stranger is that harissa is listed on multiple dishes on the menu, so it clearly exists somewhere in the building. I asked for the Sriracha anyway out of desperation for flavor. It never came. Same with ketchup for my toddler's fries, it took three requests. Throughout the meal I walked around the restaurant several times taking my son to the bathroom, looking around the space, even going upstairs to the lounge. Not a single person acknowledged us. Not a host, not a server, not a manager. The bar is right by the entrance and every time we looked over at the bartender and bar manager, just blank stares. At one point we were clearly standing there confused looking for the bathroom in an empty restaurant and still had to say "Excuse me, where is the bathroom?" Wild. Later I walked up to the bar myself to ask if they carried mezcal. After dinner I went back to order one. Same energy--zero warmth, zero engagement. And this is with an automatic 20% gratuity already on the bill. The mezcal was a $25 two-ounce pour and I still had to ask for an orange slice garnish because no one offered it. Empty bar, two people behind it, and I still had to request it. Also worth noting, our reservation was at 5:45pm and the restaurant was practically empty. Yet I didn't see a single manager walking the floor, greeting tables, or checking on guests. I had talked this place up to my party because I'd been so curious about it for years, and it was honestly a huge letdown. If you know Lebanese food and understand Middle Eastern warmth and hospitality, this probably isn't the place for you. Expect cold, almost nonexistent hospitality and food that feels stripped of the soul that makes Lebanese cuisine special. The space is beautiful. I'll give them that. Everything else felt like a very on-brand Miami disappointment, what happens when you give people a beautiful restaurant, expensive food, automatic gratuity, and no leadership. From the lack of authenticity and attention to detail, it's hard to believe anyone truly Lebanese is behind this operation. If anything, it feels more like a polished money grab. Honestly, it might have been less jarring if they just called themselves "Mediterranean" like so many other places in this city. But if you're going to call yourself a Lebanese restaurant, the culture and hospitality should actually be there.

During our last visit, an expensive black Prada bag disappeared inside the restaurant. At first, the General Manager, CECILIA , confirmed that we arrived with the bag and stated they were reviewing all camera footage. However, despite multiple requests, we were never shown the arrival footage or provided clear evidence proving what happened to the bag. The communication became increasingly contradictory, and instead of transparency and professional assistance, we were eventually accused of acting "fraudulently" and formally trespassed from the property. What shocked us most was not only the disappearance of a valuable personal item, but the way loyal customers were treated afterward: no transparency, no proper cooperation, no accountability, and accusations without clear proof. We remained respectful throughout the entire process and simply asked for clear confirmation regarding the footage. Instead, the situation escalated into accusations and threats of trespassing. If personal belongings can disappear inside a restaurant and management responds this way, guests should seriously think twice before leaving valuables there. At this point, we sincerely hope the restaurant owner or upper management reviews this situation carefully, conducts a proper internal investigation into how this matter was handled, and contacts us directly in hopes of reaching a fair resolution regarding both the significant financial loss and the emotional distress we experienced as a result of this situation and the unfounded accusations made against us. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked so well, but the lamb was definitely the standout for me. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the kind of dish where every bite just melts. We also loved the other dishes we tried and the sides complemented everything perfectly. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for both the food and the overall experience!

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.

And I'm Greek, so…read moreyou can take my word for it ;) While it may seem slightly off the beaten path right off Flagler, it's very conveniently located by the Knight Center metro stop and a very easy walk from the bridge. Also, the atmosphere they've created both indoors and outdoors really draws you in: beautiful foliage, gorgeous decor, and inviting decor. They play amazing Greek music to set the mood at a very reasonable volume so you can still hear your party. I've been for lunch during Miami spice and recently for dinner. Everything I've had was delicious with tons of flavor and huge portions. Both times I took enough leftovers for another meal! I especially love their zucchini fritters and their spread plate. All their spreads are so fresh and flavorful but their hummus especially was soo good. My husband and I shared the meat platter for two for dinner and enjoyed everything on it - the loukaniko was especially delicious! For dessert, you can't miss the galatoboureko, a sweet custard dessert with the flaky phyllo dough you know and love from baklava. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend for a lunch date or dinner date and it's super versatile: great for friends, families or romantic dates. Don't miss this beautiful restaurant in downtown!

The food is super tasty, super fresh, portions are adequate without paying a steep price. The salad: we got a greek salad, it was way bigger than what we expected, the tomatos and feta cheese were delicious and my fiance thought that this was the star dish. Its not your basic salad. The waitress prepared it right infront of us and cut fresh tomatos and veggies on a station. Saganaki: must order, this was my favorite dish. Even though its such a simple ingredient (cheese) the flavor is crazy, they torched it and heated it infront of us and we couldn't stop eating it Souvlaki: the chicken was delicious, we got two full skewers, they serve it with fries and their special sauce which is so delicious! Even the fries were delicious and well seasoned! Octopus: this was mind blowing, especially with the meraki sauce. This is technically an appetizer but feels like a whole dish!! And its only for $24 whereas other places tend to overcharge! We had planned to order more but by that time we were full. The menu is rich and there is still so much to try. We will be heading here more frequently and sharing with you our dishes!! 5 stars well deserved! Instagram: @ri_reviews961

The happy hour menu was fantastic with all $5 plates. We ordered drinks and a couple items. Then ordered more. Awesome tasting food as well as the service. There is a parking garage directly connected and the restaurant does add 20% service tip. This spot is now in our favorites list. Make sure you stop by and give them a try. Enjoy!

During that time, we made the mistake of trying Mortex Mediterranean, and it was an absolute disaster from the moment we walked in. The server was rude, untrained, and clueless -- she couldn't answer basic questions about the food and came back five minutes after dropping off our plates asking if we needed a to‑go box. We hadn't even started eating. My wife's dish and mine were passable, but the $39 wagyu burger for my 10‑year‑old was so bad he couldn't eat it and ended up crying. The fries were beaten up, stale, and tasted like they'd been reheated three times. When I told the waitress, she brushed it off with a useless "okay" and walked away. No apology, no fix, no manager -- nothing. For a city like Coral Gables, this place is an embarrassment. Terrible service, cheap ingredients, premium prices, and zero accountability. Even my son said we should've gone to Shake Shack because at least they respect customers and serve edible food. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's garbage -- poorly trained staff and low‑quality ingredients pretending to be a real dining experience.
