As someone with Persian roots and growing up in the Middle East, although I cant speak for the meats being a vegetarian, the food was delicious and authentic The service was very friendly and helpful and there were enough vegetarian dishes for me to try to come back to as well. Nice selection of drinks but nothing alcoholic.

Delicious Persian food and a casual atmosphere. Very friendly service, convenient parking in the back and the hummus is perfectly creamy and delicious. The koobideh is succulent and the dill rice is fluffy and fragrant. If you're in the mood for Middle Eastern food, this is your spot!

Delicious Persian Food! The koobideh kabob and the joojeh kabob entrees were both excellent! The bread and mast-o moosir yogurt dip were great! We called the order in and picked up to eat in our hotel. The order was ready on time and the staff was very nice and helpful providing additional bread to go with the dip and the meal and to go plates, napkins, forks, knives and spoons!

So incredibly happy to finally have an amazing Persian restaurant in Miami! I will gladly make the drive to Coral Gables for this gem and a taste of home. My mom and I had the soltani and the barg kabob, and both were phenomenal. We subbed the Lima bean rice for one of the entrees and that was good as well. Very friendly and warm service. Run like a small mom and pop shop. Looking forward to repeat visits to try the stews and other dishes.

Cute little Persian restaurant off the beaten path. Luckily they had a small parking lot. Service was very friendly, although she was a single server for the whole restaurant... so a little understaffed even in the small space. No outdoor area from what I can tell. When we first got there, it was pretty early and empty, but apparently the secrets out, because it filled up fast. Honestly I felt the dishes fresh. Lot of lemon flavors. Not overly salty which I appreciate. The waitress mentioned everything is made to order, which might also explain some of the delays (like the lamb stew)... but it's worth it. One of the better chicken kebobs I've had locally. Fresh salad. Nice baklava. Tried my friends fries which were also crispy and tasty. Another friend's lamb stew had some uniquer flavors, not sure he'd reorder it. Tried the soup special which was also good, but had cream so I couldn't really have much. Luckily my friends ended up enjoying it. Id go back and try a few other dishes!

Wow! What a restaurant! Beautiful on the inside and some of the best Persian food on your plate. To be completely frank if you're a vegetarian Rumi might not be a great choice for you as their vegetarian selections are super limited. But my partner and I made the most of it and still had an amazing meal. I did not know how delicious the simple tomato, cheese, walnut, cucumber salad could be. Rumi's take on it was beyond exceptional. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were and the flavors worked so well together. Also I am a sucker for fresh hot pita. Rumi left me a happy man with that. The staff was amazing, the decor was fun, the food was without a doubt the star. Just add a few more vegetarian plates and you will find me a regular customer at Rumi.

I stopped by with my family for dinner and boy am I happy we did. You know when good food makes you emotional? Makes you smile? Makes your day? Waves of nostalgia from childhood meals flooded over me. Damn the kashk-o bademjan!! Let me break it down for you. The food is how your mom makes it. Made with love. The restaurant is clean. I'm talking CLEAN! The staff is friendly and engaging. Service was amazing. Nothing lacked!! The only disappointment I had was with my stomach for not wanting more food. I unapologetically stuffed my face. If you're a real Persian looking for a chelokabab experience then you are in luck my friend. The chef and owner Arash is such a kind human being. He made his rounds and made sure every table was taken care of. we ordered the Homa platter which was a kabab sampler so we got to try a little of everything. The tomatoes were perfectly charred (just how I like it!) the rice had the perfect amount of butter IYKYK The icecream...god bless whoever left a review about the icecream. Saffron...rose water...heaven. I have a feeling we're going back next weekend.

Excellent authentic Persian food, done with care and love. Flavors are perfect and presentation is great. Modest and elegant in the most positive sense. We had the Kashk Bedemjan, Falafel, Koobideh, Shirazi salad, Gheimeh and Bemyeh and everything was excellent!!! The Saafron ice cream and Baklava were as great. Highly recommended their food and warm hospitality atmosphere.

Rumi (now named Homa to honor the owners mother), is a wonderful place for some good old Persian cuisine. We went with a big group (8 of us) around 6 pm and were seated right away. It was just us in the beginning of the night but got packed in a few hours for the dinner rush. Arash, the owner greeted us right away which is always pleasant coming from a restaurant owner. We ordered a bunch of dishes from kabobs to stews and it was also super flavorful! I've been to many restaurants but I have to say, the service was top notch and it was only 3 people running it (Guyencyy and Andre were killing it!). Every dish was presented in beautiful plates. The kashke bademonjoon (roasted eggplant app) was probably the best I had. I could taste the roasted walnuts and eggplant so distinctly. As the night got slammed with customer, the service was still Top notch and I can always appreciate that! There is plenty of parking in the back around the corner of the resturant. They also have a small wall with some Persian items if you need anything. The tea was also a perfect touch at the end. Will definitely be back!

Fresh and Delicious! Family and I decided to have lunch Saturday at Rumi Persian Cuisine. The restaurant is on 17th Ave near US1 across the street from Casola's Pizza. This cozy little restaurant is a new addition to the Silver Bluff area. Parking is located on the side by a laundromat which it shares parking with all the businesses on the lot. The inside decor is simple and service is friendly and accommodating. But the star of the show here is the food. For appetizers we had the Falafel. I've had falafel before but these tasted so fresh and so flavorful. Probably the best falafel I've ever had. The Tahini sauce was also so fresh and along with the small side salad everything balanced the falafel perfectly. For entrees we had the Chenjeh Lari (Lamb) Kabob and the Joojeh (Chicken) Kabob. We also ordered a side of Koobideh (Ground Beef) Kabob. The entrees come with a good size serving of rice. But what made this rice special was the dab of ghee they place on top before serving. Oh my!! Once that ghee melted into my rice, it just added an amazing buttery flavor to the already delicious rice. Growing up Cuban, I have consumed my fair share of rice. And this has to be some of the most delicious rice I've ever had. The Kabobs were all also delicious and perfectly seasoned. But we were also given some Sumac spice and Mast O'Khiar yogurt dip to accompany our entrees. Both elevated what was already amazing dishes to another level. The Sumac spice gave a tart lemony tone which was like squeezing some lime and activating flavors. Then the yogurt dip provided the perfect refreshing element to the protein. Overall it was a great meal. Luckily we had some leftovers and am already looking forward to eating more later. Definitely recommend Rumi Persian Cuisine and ecstatic to add them to the neighborhood restaurant list.

Cool spot in Shenandoah! Located across the street from El Carajo, facing 17th Ave, with limited parking inside a shared lot. Inside is quiet, minimal decor, and a really small market. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The food was good quality, decent seasoning. It's a little on the pricier side, which is in incongruent to the area. Up I would recommend it, check them out.

Rumi is the last Persian restaurant to open in Miami. I started with the Mast-o Musir which it was ok. A good Mast-o Musir should be creamier, less runny. The yogurt they are using doesn't have the perfect consistency for a 5 stars one. However, I gotta say it had a good flavor profile. For the main dish, I settled with the Soltani. The barg (beef) kabob was soft, perfectly cooked and seasoned. You can tell the meat cut was of good quality. The kobideh didn't have the best consistency(too soft) but the flavors were spot on. All in all, this was a 4+ stars dish that I enjoyed so much and would repeat at any time. Lastly, the Persian ice cream was delish. The rose water notes were coming out nice and in combination with the saffron ones. If this was sugar free, I would be eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner :) so delicious. All in all, a good restaurant with delicious food and a lot of potential to deliver one of the best Persian food in town.

We were whisked inside to the intimate, dimly lit interior with a DJ table tastefully tucked away in the back of the space. Service was welcoming but overall, not quite as warm and attentive as I've experienced at other places in town. We started off with the Turkish Manti Dumplings, which were the standout of the night. The complexity yet restraint of flavor, balancing indescribable buttery, roasted, earthy notes with a touch of umami and subtle tanginess from the yogurt. The Mezze Sampler was a nice option for trying three of the dips. All very tasty, but I've had slightly better elsewhere. The Sweet Jeweled rice was the other standout with flavor and textural variety that made each bite pop. I found the Roasted Brussels Sprouts undercooked and lacking the same level of flavor as the other plates. The weakest dish of the evening. The Grilled Whole Bronzino got top marks from the meat eaters at the table. Overall, 4/5 stars for a delicious meal but with tough competition around town limiting my ability to hit that 5.
