Absolutely the worst hair experience EVER! What's the purpose of a consultation if the services are not what I agreed to? I went home to wash my hair after my coloring/bleach and I just cried and cried and cried. This was supposed to be for my son's graduation. Ruined it. Went to my barber to try to FIX my hair and paid $45 more after I paid $200 at your salon. Went back to your salon to find out why they let me leave the salon looking INSANE the same day. I feel like I've been punked! Deer in the headlights from everyone. Asked to fix it and I explained timing was the biggest problem that I mentioned in my consultation so that was impossible for me to "fix it". No refund, no remorse, nothing! Waste of money. I can never trust a hair salon again. I cried so much my eyes are puffy this morning. I feel disgusting because I was robbed! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! read more

They book themselves out so much that when you go in to get a hair service they take another client while you're still there , every time .. the blow dry is extra and by an intern that you have to tip as well .. the skills of the hair stylists do not warrant big city prices and ways of doing business .. do not recommend at all read more

I've been a client at Level One for years and it never ceases to amaze me how I'm tune both my hair stylist and hair colorist are with me and my hair. They ask questions about how I liked my color and cut over the past six weeks to determine what they need to do for me at the appointment. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and go out of their way to do even the little things like offering a beverage, getting an extra towel, and sharing hair product reviews. I can't say enough how impressed I was with this salon and the stylists. I'm visiting from New York and won't have time to get a haircut when I go back. I was looking for a drastic change, and I definitely got one! Claire spent almost FOUR HOURS meticulously foiling every inch of my hair (of which I have a ton). Then, Claire and Crystal tag teamed my balayage, and Crystal did my cut and style. I was there for almost eight hours, and they accommodated me until past closing to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I am so happy with my drastic change! My only issue is that, when I booked online, the prices were listed, and the balayage was $119+. I have a lot of hair, so I was expecting to pay more, but I was expecting, with tip, to pay about $250. The total, before tip was about $345. The girls who did my hair were absolutely incredible, and deserved a much higher tip than I was able to give, but I hadn't accounted for such a significant price difference when I went in. That said, now that I know what to expect, I'd absolutely go back again. read more

I drive from Marietta to go here and have been going since they opened. It's totally worth it. I'm not picky and are more 'adventurous' than most when it comes to my hair--it's just hair, people, it grows back! What I love is being able to go here and tell the colorist and stylist that I'm a blank slate for them. They draw from their experience, along with their continuous learning of modern trends, to create a masterpiece every time (they are artists, after all). I have never been disappointed and I get multiple compliments a week from strangers, either about my color, style or both. I keep a stack of their business cards in my wallet because I am asked so often where I go. You can't really go wrong with any level of colorist or stylist you see. My husband also goes here, along with my 4yr old daughter (they are great with kids, by the way) and my Mom has recently started going. It's nice because she can still get a great cut & color from the Jr level staff for a reasonable price (she's retired and on a fixed income). Everyone is very friendly. The interior design is sleek, modern and clean. And although the design might give you the impression of it being a "snooty" or "stuck-up" kind of place, that couldn't be further from the truth. Everyone is down-to-earth and accommodating. Oh, and I really dig the music they play. Really, I just can't say enough good things about this salon. I will continue driving a 90-minute round trip every 6 weeks to have this experience. read more

Won't be returning. First of all, scheduling an appointment for color and cut can be exhausting. Different "levels" of systlists and colorists. Some of the colorists don't do cuts and vice versa. So trying to find one of each in an affordable price range can be a pain; they even suggested coming in one day for color and few days later for the cut. Um...no. I won't go into all of the details, but the work was sub-par @ best. Prices for junior levels are decent for full highlight and cut, but there were a LOT of mistakes w/both. Highlights were uneven and bled and there was a huge thick line on the left side and a lot of small, thin lines on the right?! The girl who did my cut completely took every bit of volume and thickness out in a matter of minutes and it's taken me 4 months to finally grow it back out. Between the hassle of scheduling and the shabby work, I wouldn't personally recommend. Note, I did elect to choose "junior" level colorist and stylist but was assured the levels weren't based on "quality of work" but "time worked in the business". I don't like salons that make the customer choose stylist "levels". I want a salon where I know that every stylists is great and every customer will get a great cut/color regardless of the stylists they choose. read more
