Juicy Oistre is food truck/pop up started by two locals after an inspiring trip to NOLA! I've seen…read morethem at my usual stomping grounds like Frame, York, Homes...and finally got the chance to try it! The menu changes and sometimes they're crawfish/low country boil focused only but I tried a pretty small but might menu of: *Ichabob Flats (MA) + Pickering Point (WA) raw oysters (6/$21) - I usually only like smaller west coast oysters but the Ichabob flats were actually really good. It helps that they tasted really fresh! *Juicy Butt OG Char Grilled Oysters (6/$24) - The bit of sweet & savory on this with the toasted breadcrumbs were a textural and flavor delight! *Pimento Cheese Stuff'd Cherrystone Clams (3/$12) - I' apparently have not had a cherrystone clam before because they're MASSIVE. The pimento was really delicious and all in al pretty decadent. *Halibut & Quick Pickled Fruit Ceviche ($25) - again super tasty and fresh. relatively small portion BUT i could forgive because the tortilla chips it was served with and the pickled fruit (peach this time) were FIRE. These are prettttyyy premium but probably the best we're going to get in AA!! To be fair, I haven't tried the hand shucked ones at Monahan Seafood yet but they don't offer chargrilled oysters or whole bass served like this either!

For years the claim to the best oysters I've eaten went to a place in Homer, AK. The chargrilled…read moreNanas bacon boys from Juicy Oistre gave them some competition. Amazing!

Been following them on insta for awhile and stopped by for lunch today while visiting family in…read moretown. I knew we wanted the loaded fries and we also decided to try a variety of bao buns. The bao buns were very soft and loaded with flavor. I had the spicy pork and I wouldn't consider it spicy but it was bursting with umami. The wife had the shorty and said it tasted just like the fries but in a steamed bun. I also had the chashu but it was lacking compared to the other two. If we were to come back while visiting family we would probably get two orders of the loaded fries. The fries were super crisp and had a giant portion of short ribs, green sauce, and cilantro with radishes. The green sauce is a very unique combo of flavors but isn't spicy. The only downside today was they were out of drinks but were able to go inside York and get some water. Regardless the service was super quick and we hope to be back while visiting.

High quality food trucks are lacking in Michigan. Bao Boys sets the bar pretty high. The staff is…read morefriendly and efficient. We had a food allergy and they were very accommodating and knew the menu which provided much needed reassurance. The Food? HOLYYYYY some of the best baos I've ever had. I'm used to having stuffed baos rather than an open taco shaped bun. The bread material (??idk what to call it) was so light and fluffy. It held up well for my dive home. We ordered the shrooms. Chicken. Bahn Mi and shorty. Hands down some of the best food I've ordered. It was light and savory. Vibes were so nice outside. Good sitting area. Can't wait to come back
