I stayed at the AC hotel (very nice by the way) for a Thursday and Friday night on a business trip. I went to this bar both nights. They opened very recently and obviously have some kinks to work out; bar service was somewhat slow and from what a friend of mine said the cocktails were just decent. I decided to play it safe and stick with beers and straight liquor only, so my drinks were fantastic. The vibe here is really good; lots of people with great seating options and TVs. As I said above, the staff are working out some kinks, but overall service was great. I had a waitress that was very attentive and a bartender who genuinely seemed thrilled to be there, and you don't always get that. Totally understand people that are writing reviews about drink quality, but this is a great space with great staff that will only get better as time goes on. Worth checking out. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon during Grand Opening week and I can already see alot of potential in this rooftop lounge being a great meetup spot. The bar was out of quite a few things per the manager due to many basketball fans coming to watch the game on Saturday night. Outside on the patio they have screens and a projector which allows them to show games for example on the wall. Its a full bar with wine and beer on tap. Tapas are offered as menu items to nibble and nosh on while catching up with friends. Lots of comfortable seating both inside and out. I plan to come back for date night as I enjoy having the option to drink outside. Its something I did alot of in Miami and this rooftop bar kind of remind me of a place there except Level7 gives you views of North Hills in lieu of water. In anycase, if you like sunshine and blue skies or sunsets and stars with your cocktails..Level7 is a nice place to enjoy all that! read more

I was disappointed with Level 7 because it had so much potential. Bar is small, service is bad, very overpriced. Beer is in cans. A 12 ounce can of blue moon or Stella is $7. Cocktails are $14. The food was reasonably good but tiny portions and overpriced. And it's super bright in there at night, they need to dim the lighting so it doesn't feel like a library. read more

I would have given Level7 five stars for the ambience alone and the drinks and food, but the service was very slow. Our server, Brie, was super, and not her fault at all. Not sure if this is a regular problem, or just this evening. From looking at the other reviews, it is an on-going problem. I would recommend going. My friend and I went early, at 6. We were able to get a seat outside, which was nice. There was an integrated mix of ages, race, and style, even families having a drink before they went somewhere else for dinner. I liked that. By the time we left around 8:15ish, the younger crowd was coming in. That was fun to watch. The new generation's mythology. I remember being 20 something out with my friends doing the same type of thing, some 40 years ago. Not much has changed. The women were even wearing, what we called, hot pants! Too cute! read more

My sisters and I went to Level 7 yesterday and unfortunately the service was nothing like it appears online. Very unfriendly environment. We sat ourselves outside at a table that was dirty from the previous guest (it was the only free table). When 1 of the bartenders finally came out to clean the table he spilled some sort of sauce on my dress. He (with much frustration) left to get club soda and a towel, handed it to me, and told me to blot it. He never cleaned the mess on the floor and never was truly apologetic. Needless to say the stain did not come out and neither did anyone to take our order so we left. Sadly we will never return. I've never written a review in my life but I absolutely could not let this go. The 2 workers (including the bartender) that we interacted with were so unfriendly that we were pretty much in shock. Great staff. Great experience. Not too crowded. We enjoyed a few cocktails on the rooftop bar in mid-February and with the heaters it was very comfortable to sit outside. We were celebrating a 21st, so it was a major hit for our whole party. read more

Upon arrival the scenery was awesome, semi packed house, lovely crowd, rooftop access, no complaints! My friend asked for drink suggestions, so our waitress proceeded to tell her about the cocktails. I asked if there was an open bar, I wanted to know which liquors were available and our waitress started off saying "we don't have Hennessy or any cognac" Immediately I was taken aback and offended!!!! That's not what I asked and I didn't appreciate the assumption that I as a person of color wanted Hennessy specifically, it may not have been her intention to be insensitive but that's now how I perceived it. In the future I doubt I'd go back, as lovely as the atmosphere is, unfortunately, service like that puts a bad taste in my mouth and nothing about our time there stood out as much as the way my waitress made me feel. read more

I really like the concept and ambience and prior to COVID, this was one of my favorite places in North Hills. However, I was disappointed to see there was NO social distancing going on whatsoever. Patrons were walking around without masks and the place was packed. I ended up leaving and I highly recommend not giving this place your business until the pandemic is over- there are many great restaurants that are following the rules and they deserve your business more than here. read more

Level 7 has one of my favorite cocktails in Raleigh. They make an amazing Gin & Tonic that is unique and super delicious. I promise even if you don't like Gin you will love their version. I have been to Level 7 quite a few times and have always enjoyed my experience. The views are great when the weather is nice and they have plenty of room inside as well. The staff is wonderful and always attentive. It is definitely a spot to check out next time you want to grab cocktails in Raleigh. read more

Was here for New Years Eve, the party was pretty good. The people I was with including myself thought it was a little bright inside. The band, they might have been getting drunk, but screwed up the words to most of the songs....LMAO. The real heart burn and it's partly my fault but people should be aware of going there...they added 20% percent charge to my bill only drinks and said nothing. I then tipped another 20% and realized it the next day. Again my fault as I should have looked closer at the bill. I learned my lesson!! It also set me up to not return and that is not my intentions as I live close by and my wife and I love rooftop bars. Kinda put a bad taste in my mouth or a deceptive practice suck as that. Drinks were so so. We ordered a drink and it was horrible and the waitress response was well that's what u ordered. It wasn't and did not offer to take off bill or make another. We celebrated a friend's 30th here and really enjoyed it. The drinks are expensive for Raleigh, but they were really good. The Maple Sour May be the best drink I've ever had. I've been intending to write a review for quite some time now, and am happy that I'm finally doing it! I've stayed at the AC several times and visited Level 7 on many occasions. Each and every time I am quickly greeted and my drink arrives swiftly. In the summer, one of my favorite drinks is an Aperol Spritz, which can either go very well, or quite badly. I was SO happy that Level 7's Aperol Spritz, was fabulous! In the fall and winter you can't go wrong with a specialty cocktail, which never disappoints. I've tried a few items on the food menu and think each one is delicious! Level 7 gets 5stars from me on Food Service And atmosphere. I hosted an event here on Wednesday and it was a great experience. I ordered a few items from the menu and all the Tapas (potato wedges/chicken flatbread/meat and cheese tray)were great! Someone in my group ordered the Salmon entree and she loved it. Our server Cara was wonderful and attentive and the entire staff made us feel so comfortable. This bar always feels as if it just recently open, stilled getting use to the new space and pace. They run out of what's on the menu. The liquor variety isn't bad but is not of sufficient depth. They are slow when there's barely anyone in line. The lighting is usually too bright. It's a shame; could be really good, but the whole just never fully connects. Yes, it's are a hotel bar. However, given its location in North Hills, and the fact that it's a bar that can stand on its own, the quality of execution really needs to increase. Especially this long after opening. read more

This place certainly gets stars for the view and ambiance! It's like an exclusive club and the views are great. The drawbacks are the drinks are expensive. I ordered Stella beer and was given a skinny can for over $5.50. The parking is also difficult but that's North Hills these days. We were in town for work and staying nearby and were looking for a rooftop with a nice ambiance so we decided to try Level 7. After our experience, we were regretting that choice. When we arrived to the restaurant, we found a seat outside. After 10 minutes of not having a waitress, we decided to walk over tonight bar to get a drink. A waitress met us on the way and went back to our sitting area and took our drink order. She seemed confused by some of our drinks so we figured maybe she was new which is totally fine. While were waiting for our drinks, there was a smell that would come in drifts that was what we soon figured out was a dumpster down below. When our drinks came, my friends glass of wine had a large amount of cork in it and the waitress handed it to her and said "just to let you know , that's just cork and let me know if it's too much".... she handed my friend a napkin to fish it out. Then we ordered a charcuterie board and chose 3 meats and 3 cheeses. When it came, we got three very thinly sliced cheeses and 3 thinly sliced pieces of meat. The waitress said they were all out of one kind and wanted to know if we wanted something else. There was literally enough food to maybe fill 1/4 of the plate. It was very odd. We had another glass of wine which was when he waitress said he bottle had been compromised (too much cork). After all of this, we walked out more amused than anything because this was an odd and confusing experience. Will not visit again. read more

Waitress was cool and let me swap it for their grapefruit specialty drink. Tasted like a fishbowl from a piano bar and came in way too big of a glass. There are places downtown that make out of this world cocktails for $12. Again, nothing against the price, just quality. If it wasn't for the atmosphere I would give it 2 stars. I came here randomly on a Thursday night. Parking was hard to find. I found spot on a residential street where the townhouse are located. Level 7 has it's own entrance --separate from the hotel. It is to the left of the hotel entrance. You walk in the door and press the button for the elevator. No cover. There is a lot of action outside and you can hear the music from the street. I did not expect how large this space is. It was pretty loud and busy. There was a good mix of people from college age to young professionals to older crowds. There were also a good variety of races represented. Of course, the outside space was smaller than the inside. It was packed on the deck. I can't imagine what the wait would have been for the bar. THERE IS NO VIEW TO SPEAK OF. We did not stay long. I just wanted to check it out. read more

U can see all the imperfection on my face lol .. not only that, I don't find their drink is unique and special, so I just had scotch.. and not sure how much they charged me for it.
