We've been back a handful of times since our initial Groupon deal. Each and every time it is a good experience. Last night we stopped in because they have spiced apple and maple ciders that we wanted to try. The spiced apple was the best cider I've ever had from Levengoods. It had the perfect amount of spice and was just damn good. The maple was also good. It's more of a maple aftertaste, but still good. We even took a can of spiced apple home. You can get three sizes of cider. They have a flight glass for $2, a half pint for $3.50, and a pint for $6. They also sell large bottles, crowlers, and growlers to go. Every time we go it is always the same bartenders, who are beyond nice. Even when it's pretty full they still take the time to talk with you and get to know you. If we lived closer, we'd be there so much more because it's just that good. I really wish we lived closer. We'll be back soon because that apple spice is just worth it to us! read more

Levengoods is delightful surprise we found on our visit to Lancaster. The ciders are fantastic! The interior space is clean and bright and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. They have big garage type doors/windows that open all the way up so you can look right out onto the street while sitting and sipping a cider. I had a flight of 7 ciders and they were all great. My favorites are the Lime & Ginger and the Sunrise (orange, grapefruit, pinapple). The Sunrise is similar to a mimosa with a crisp taste and plenty of sparkle. We'll definately be back, it's only a 1.5 hr drive from home and I'll need to re-stock my fridge :) read more

I'm having a crisp and very nice dry cider here! The interior space is beautiful - artful and clean with many plants. I really hate giving a place a bad review, but man, these ciders were rough. I prefer cider over any other alcoholic beverage. I also prefer dry ciders over sweet ciders. We tried 4 of the 8 ciders and I guess, if you twisted my arm, I would say the hopped one was okay. The dry cider tasted like nothing - watered down with no flavor at all. We also had the original and the barrel aged and they tasted like they were rushed, just to get something to serve. I would definitely recommend more research on how to make ciders. As far as food goes, almost everything was crossed out on the list except for 2 items, lettuce wraps and a pretzel. We decided to wait to go somewhere else to eat. The atmosphere would have been okay if the community center next door wasn't having a party. Their club music was so loud!! They definitely need better insulation. Other than that, they had a long bar with chairs, a high top table and some comfy chairs closer to the door. Hopefully they make some improvements! read more

New to Lancaster, my wife and I have searched downtown to find lovely spots to visit within walking distance of our flat. We love good cider, and I spotted Levengoods one morning; thus, we decided to visit on a windy Sunday afternoon. The modern design was quite comfortable, and of course you see the plumbing where they make the cider onsite. We ordered two flights of 8, sampling the current variety they offered along with a delicious cheese plate. When our group-on failed to work, they offered us the same deal! The cider is not as sweet as most cider we are used to drinking, which was refreshing. Cider is loaded with sugar, and based on customer requests, they produce a lighter cider. The flavors were quite delightful. I especially enjoyed the Sunrise. They are a local business that buys from the Central market and regional orchards. Bring your growler! I'm sure we'll be back often. read more

I'm not a cider person but I tried it out any way. It's okay, not somewhere I would go again. Staff is friendly though and the food is great! The only cider I somewhat enjoyed was the dry cider. It's small inside so if you don't get there early you will have to stand. Pricing isn't bad. read more

Love the concept, but the cider is not the best. They have an array of flavors, but the quality just didn't do it for us. We did a flight and the ciders didn't stay cold for long. Flavors were interesting, but cider was watered down. Plenty of places to sit, long bar. The streets leading up to the cidery are a bit shady, so it's worth it to park in a safe spot and walk. read more

Came to Lancaster after a wedding and decided to walk around the town. Ran into this brewery and it was awesome! Rob, the bartender, is great and was really conversational! We tried the flight and enjoyed every single cider that they put out. The food menu is currently limited, but they are going to create more options in the coming weeks! The soft pretzels were so good and the sauces are all good! Definitely a must try! read more

Man were these ciders rough. Personally I love ciders, they are by far my favorite alcoholic beverage. These however were not my favorite. They had no distinct flavors to them and many of them had similar flavor tones. The after tastes were terrible. My gf said it best saying the after taste was like completely burnt pizza flavor. Got the flight and left 3 sit mostly full. read more

We have been coming to Levengoods for I believe two years now and it never disappoints!! All the ciders are delicious, the pretzel and cheese boards are to die for. We live about two and half hours away and take the day trip just to have the cider. ITS THAT GOOD!! The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. As I sit here now writing this and drinking the cider I can't wait to come back. read more

I don't get the hate on the ciders! (Maybe I just have a trash pallete, I guess that's possible). Delicious ciders in my opinion- a little on the pricey side, but I think it can be justified through A. The fact that they're brewed there, and B. A higher ABV means you won't need as many. Cool atmosphere and staff have always been attentive and willing to talk, especially if you sit at the bar. Great place. When they have barrel-aged options, get them! My favorites. read more

This is one of my favorite places to visit in downtown Lancaster! Ciders are delicious and I always love to get a cheeseboard to go along with it. They recently opened up for indoor dining due to COVID restrictions but also offer takeout options for cider to go. Definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Such a fun place! It's a cidery so all of their drafts are ciders. And they use local, homegrown ingredients and try to keep the freshness in each cider. My personal favorites are the dry-hopped cider and the ginger cider. They offer smaller pours if you want to a flight. In addition, they also have cheese boards and appetizers which are delicious, and bottled beers if you want something other than cider. read more

Not too thrilled with this place. It could be so much better, from the greeting (or lack of) to the follow up. First time here, walked in and were seen by waitress but she chose not to say hi (1st impressions are everything!). While we looked over selections at table, no one acknowledged us, so I went up to bar. Again, waitress walked by us and served bar patrons that she knew. Then a guy came over and took our order. The ciders were ok, waitress brought cheese tray out and asked "Did you order the cheese tray?" She left it without any explanation of what the cheeses were. Then after our flights were delivered, no follow up up on us to see if we liked them or not. It's hard enough to sell just cider, but couple that with bad, inattentive service and it's a lose-lose. Even a bad food/drink could be helped by a friendly staff, this was not the case here. Sorry, won't be back. read more

We didn't eat in, but we got ciders to go... not the best. They taste watered down and indistinguishable from each other. I don't mind a light cider, but when it pours and looks like water... not great. The best was the cherry. I'm interested to see if they're constantly trying to improve their cider or if this is a final product. To each their own, I guess. Also too expensive for what you get. read more

The location is very modern and cool and certainly has potential but is let down by its main product. This cidery is not a good example of the current state of craft cider. Most of the ciders have the same characteristics with very little to distinguish them. They all taste extremely immature with no depth from different strains of yeast. This cidery would be much better off perfecting 2-3 ciders rather than serving 8 mediocre blends. read more
